House vacation rentals in Torquay

Absolutely lovely home , very responsive to messages, had an issue with the electrical gate it’s no one’s fault but they acted and responded so quickly. The only issue I had was with the pool not being open even though it’s listed in the title “ villa with pool “ and I searched air BnB using the great pool section . I was gutted because it did state in the more about section that the pool wasn’t open until may , I trusted that using the search with great pool would be enough but unfortunately It wasn’t, I did feel this was wrong listing a property with a pool and in the title but hiding the fact it wasn’t open in the click more section, this definitely needs changing.

Mandys place was just amazing. Everything you need is provided and more. Having the pool for the kids was a winner. The Steam train coming past was really good felt like the Railway Children waving all the time. Great recommendations for eating out. Thank you looking at booking again.

Clean, cozy and well equipped (kitchen, etc). Peaceful location and the extra amenities were great! (Swimming pool, etc). We would stay again.

It was an amazing stay, the place is apart of a big holiday ket that has a restaurant and spa. It exceeded expectations! All the staff at cary arms were really great and approachable. People will need to realise in advance how steep the hill is to get to the holiday homes. I had difficulty driving my car back up so Chris and Harry from the cary arms helped me out with that and I tree really appreciated it.

Lovely place and we had a great stay. Only downside was that the pool wasn’t heated, Maria let us know a few days beforehand that there was an issue with the boiler.

My friends and I stayed at Louise’s place for a long weekend, and it was a wonderful time. The house fit 11 adults no problem. Lovely and quiet, the pool was so much fun, and we made good use of the fire pit to have s’mores. Harry gave us a tour of the dairy farm & beehives, & let us see the calves which was lovely. Louise was a fab host, very good communicator and always at hand if needed. Great stay overall!

Great home with outstanding facilities and location. Pool is a highlight, and hot tub right next to it which is great for when the kids get chilly! Fantastic playroom for them too. Boiling water tap for grown ups teas and coffee with good indoor and outdoor seating areas. Fun for all the family!

Everything about this air bnb is fantastic! We slept with the blinds open every night purely to wake to that view. The interior has been thoughtfully put together and has everything you could possibly need, we had family visit and were able to cook for 4 adults and 3 kids and still had spare crockery and cutlery!!! Our hosts were helpful and absolutely lovely. I wish I could live at Pear Tree!

Amazing property overlooking Brixham Harbour. Clean, comfortable and decorated gorgeously. We stayed as a group of 6 adults, having the 3 en-suite bedrooms was perfect. Comfortable beds and lovely bath sheets and contemporary but homely decor. We would highly recommend and will book again, thank you ☺️

My partner and our 2 young daughters had a lovely stay here. It was a good base to explore the local surroundings. There is no parking outside and we had to park over the main road but the host was helpful in giving us this information before hand. The sofa bed was comfy and we had all the amenities we needed

A beautifully presented property in a perfect position on the quieter side of the River in Kingswear. Very clean and well equipped with good quality fixtures and fittings and comfortable beds. All rooms are spacious and comfortable and the outside space is beautifully sunny and well appointed. Great communication throughout from Sharon. All in all a cracking holiday let.

Stuart was a great host, he answered all questions within minutes. he advised when we could check in early and as was always friendly and very helpful whenever we we saw him. he has a lovely place and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

We had a very nice time at Megan's place. The apartment was easy to reach and the nearest train station is only 5 minutes away by bike, which was very convenient for us. The area is super nice and was super to explore from the apartment. We highly recommend it :)

We enjoyed a great week at Nina’s lovely house. It was exactly as described in the listing and Nina was always very responsive.

Excellent property and great location to everything with all amenities you needed for a lovely break in Devon, very spacious and quiet area just short walk to the harbour, Caroline was very helpful communicating and there was lots of information in the property, the hot tub was a lovely touch in a private part of the garden. will definitely return in the future and highly recommend

The Italian Garden is a magical respite. Down a tiny country road, near mostly farmland and hills, you’ll find this incredible hideaway. We arrived at night and will admit didn’t do much research before booking (although there’s a lot of info online if you search theitaliangarden)- so were shocked to find that this gorgeous home is nestled just in front of nearly four acres of a phenomenal private garden that you often have to yourself. Words can’t do it justice … just go! The house itself has a fully stocked kitchen with everything you can imagine to cook or bake. There’s a gas fireplace for cold nights, and an outdoor fire bowl. Every bit of the house is luxurious and comfortable. It’s in an extremely quiet part of southern Devon, but just a 15 minute drive from bustling Totnes with unique restaurants and shops. There are many other nearby towns to explore, and Dartmoor is also very close by for gorgeous walks and landscape. Our week flew by - we can’t more highly recommend i

A lovely house to accommodate our family while visiting relatives in Paignton , the house was immaculately clean ( I’ve never seen such a beautiful spotless bathroom) , full of all the amenities you’d ever need and positioned between two beaches and plenty of walks . The attention to detail with all the extras was much appreciated , there’s plenty of lovely towels , hairdryers , spare toiletries , condiments in the kitchen , high chair and even a bucket and spade . Lauren went over and above getting us a fan for the babies room and dropping it off within half an hour of us messaging. We really can’t fault the place and wouldn’t hesitate to return . Thank you Lauren and Jordan for a lovely place to stay .

House was spotlessly clean. Plenty of pots/pans/crockery/cutlery. Tracy replied to communications within minutes. No problem with parking 2 cars. Short walk to beach and pier. Everything you need for a holiday. Would highly recommend this property. Would recommend visits to Paignton Zoo, we spent the whole day there, and Babbacombe Model Village. it was a lovely home for our 3 nights exactly what we wanted, super friendly owners, walking distance to everything you needed, was the perfect location for us visiting family.

We had a wonderful few days staying at Smuggler's Cottage and exploring Brixham. The cottage is in a great location with absolutely beautiful views over the harbour from the sitting room and upstairs bedroom. It had everything we needed inside (spacious and comfy, well equipped kitchen), and a lovely outside patio, table and chairs for sitting out in the morning/evening to enjoy the views. The cottage is a short 5-minute walk from the centre of town/harbourside, either via steps or there's a step-free path. Thank you Kath - would definitely recommend and hope to return to Brixham again.

We had the most amazing week with our 4 boys at The Old Guard in May. We have been renting various properties in Hope Cove for many years. Wendy's property is now our absolute favourite!! Not only did we have fabulous weather but the location is just perfect for getting out on the kayaks etc The warm outdoor shower is brilliant for when you get back! The balcony is very large and a great space! The views from the balcony are spectacular and the sunsets incredible. The kitchen had everything you need. They utility area with washer and dryer is very useful staying with a family. The property was really well designed & clean and comfortable to stay in. Wendy had said the parking would be tight, but we got our 2 vehicles in no problem just a bit of time to go back and forth and one is a long wheelbase Mercedes Vito! We would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back again! Thank you Wendy for all your messages and prompt replies when we had any questions.

We had a lovely stay here, we loved all the little extras which is so thoughtful. The location is amazing so close to everything. Would recommend this lovely house right by the beach and the town centre. We were there for the air show and had amazing views from the house. Stuart gave us excellent recommendations and was so helpful and kind, also responded so quickly as well.

Luke is a fabulous host! Not only is the cottage idyllic, peaceful and charming, but Luke left us some goodies for our arrival. These included a bottle of fizz, some delicious bread and eggs from the chickens he keeps on his small holding. There was loads of good recommendations for walks and activities within the cottage and Luke trod a wonderful balance between giving us our space and being there to offer advice and recommendations. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in the countryside!
