Chalet vacation rentals in Torquay

We had a lovely stay at Alan' place despite the rain, it was great to have access to the swimming pool at these times! It was very peaceful at the chalet but not too much of a walk to the club house or the beach so I'd recommend this to both families or couples.

All my family loved the experience we were overwhelmed by the beautiful sea views we simply enjoyed every moment of our holiday breathtaking views combined with very friendly and safe environment gives us really special and comfortable time to spend with our two toddlers age 4 and 6 , we will definitely recommend Maggie’s place to everyone who is looking for unforgettable views my son already missing the place 🙂 , we will definitely come back in future

Chalet is clean, welcoming and in a great place with wonderful views. Chalet is well equipped for catering and comfortable for relaxing. This is the 2nd time we have stayed at Nick’s chalet and we look forward to visiting again next year

location to die for. right on the beach, stunning views and a really unique stay. everything you need is provided, place is really clean and sitting out on the terrace with a glass or two of wine watching the boats go by and the tide come in is truly wonderful.

What a beautiful place, so peaceful and the lodge was so cute. Ian met us on arrival and showed us around and told us all the info we needed, he also gave us freshly baked scones which was such a lovely touch. Just outside the lodge there was so much space for our daughter's to play and ride around on some bikes borrowed from the farm. The location was ideal and not too far from a town or a day on the beach. We will definitely be returning as we've had the most lovely holiday and actually feel we relaxed being in such a quiet, picturesque spot.

My partner and I loved it THAT much, we are STILL there! We requested to extend our stay and despite having to move some bookings around, Alan and Lynne managed to make it possible for us! I had 3 nights of blissful sleep thanks to their fabulous pillows and now I get 3 more! 😁

Nice chalet for a few days

A spacious and clean 2 storey holiday home we’ll equipped for all your needs. You walk in to the kitchen that has a small kitchen table as well as fridge freezer, kettle, toaster, microwave and all cutlery and crockery. In to the sitting room/dinner there is a good size dinning table with 6 chairs as well as 2 comfy sofas and an arm chair, tv and DVD player. Upstairs there are 3 good size rooms that between them can comfortably accommodate 6 people. Bathroom and loo are well appointed and up to date with good shower over bath. Great communication with Renee and all in all a great place to stay whether you are staying in the local area or using it as a base to travel further in to Devon.

I have to say! I have to say this was one of the best stays I have ever had within a holiday Park! If the amazing views and tranquility wasn’t enough! The welcome and homely feel from all park staff was top notch!! The van was extremely well equipped! All you could ask for! Extremely clean and comfy! You had all the basics and more!! The pool was extremely clean, safe and well maintained! Would happily stay again!

Lovely place to stay and to explore this part of Devon. Close to all shops and restaurants. Access to pool was unlimited which is brilliant- mostly on rainy days which we had :). Walkable distance to the beach where you can see Steam trains passing by :). Next to the caravan there is the bus stop (not ideal if you like me and prefer morning sleep :) ). Caravan was clean and had all needed facilities. Big thank you to Brian the host which always respond to all my questions even if I ask at very late hours. Clear information and directions. A wonderful place to stay over Christmas as we visited family - stunning location and full of thoughtful touches that made for a very comfortable and welcoming stay. Cilla was so kind and helpful with everything we needed. Highly recommended!

Beautifully renovated railway carriage. Very clean and well equipped. Better than the pictures with 2 twin rooms and master with ensuite bathroom. Very clean and well equipped. But the location was the best bit. Views out of one side over the Warren and the sea. Very, very close to the railway line, and you could see the trains whizzing past. This is the main and only line from Exeter to Penzance, and there are trains all the time, fast and slow. The trains run in the week from 4am until after midnight, we loved it, watching trains speeding past from my bedroom window less than 6 ft away. Also very close to Dawlish Warren train station with local trains every 30 mins to Teignmouth, Paignton, Exeter and Exmouth.

This was our first trip as a family of three and Eszter’s place was just what we were looking for! It had everything we needed, with a beautiful view and wonderful walks. Highly recommend it!

Thé area is stunning. Very peaceful, with the sea so near, three minutes walk. Beautiful view of the sea and surroundings. The way down to the centre is so wonderful. You might see seals on the way. Brixham is a gem and this place is a gem. Normally with Air B&B we have linen and towels. We did not have towels, which was disappointing. You have to pay to get them. Also, it would be nice to have some soap for bathroom and for the kitchen for washing up( even if it is not much just to start with). It was great to have tea, milk and sugar at our arrival. We had an issue with the sofa bed which we reported and straight away, it was asked to look into. They did try to solve the problem but the bed was still not that comfortable. This did not spoil our holiday. We had a fantastic time at this park and WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND it. Linda, Warren and Christina were very helpful. Thank you. The food was excellent at their cafe/restaurant. No win at bingo this time, there is hope.

We had everything we needed here and really enjoyed our stay. Not only a sea view, but we could even hear the sea. A perfect stopover for coastpath walkers. We enjoyed meeting Rob and Karen. They were very helpful and easy to communicate with.
