Porthouse Hatsudai Twin bed room

GloriaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We stayed six nights at the Port House. Accommodations: we had a cozy twin beds room for two. The bathroom is small as expected. Maybe a little tight if you’re above average size. Beds and linen were comfortable. There was a desk, hair dryer, small open closet with hangers. Think minimalist so pack light. Amenities: there is a small kitchen and common area on the third floor for filtered water, make your own coffee/tea or cook/reheat. It has two small tables and a small balcony. You can pick up extra amenities such as: toothbrush, soap, shampoo, razor, shower cap & other small items. There is a common sitting area with bathroom on the first floor. Location: in a quiet neighborhood, about five minute walk to the subway and one stop to Shinjuku station. There is an elevator to subway if you have large luggage. Downstairs and next door is the coin-op laundry facilities, surrounding area has a few restaurants, convenience stores, & fast food chains. Thank you Hide and Nari for hosting!

1min station/3min Shinjuku/10sec Lawson/Mifi

HelenRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Lovely apartment with some really thoughtful touches like feet spa packs, shampoo, conditioner and coffee. The mobile wifi was amazing. It worked everywhere, even on the subway trains and was super helpful as a foreigner with no mobile data. Beds are comfortable and there’s soft and firm pillows. Location is 5 mins walk to Akobonbashi subway station, and only 1 stop to Shinjuku so really useful location. Jang/Kate was very responsive and always responded to any query super fast. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. We will come again one day :)

We had a great stay with our family of 5. It was a little bit of a walk to the stations but our family doesn’t mind the extra steps. We would definitely recommend others to stay here.

2 min. to Asakusa line - Quiet area

Wouw it couldn't be any better!! masa is such a nice guy and very welcoming! upon arriving we felt welcome, he explained everything and went his way. he had answers for every question we had and helped us to the best of his ability. upon arriving we gave him some Dutch gifts ( fridge magnet of a wooden shoe with tulips and a pack of stroopwafels) this shook him but he accepted it with a smile from ear to ear! the accommodation was clean and well taken care of, plenty of room for 2 people and really close to Ebara-machi station, which we used the most to get around. friendly people around Ota and the 7-11 around the corner is also very helpful! next time we are planning to stay longer! Domo arigato gozaimasu masa-san!

Suitable for family long stay and business.

ElaineRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
It’s a beautiful home, with Japanese traditional rooms elements, tatami rooms with futons that are nicely prepared for our arrival. Nice host that is understanding and kind to liaise with. We only stayed one night but the area is quiet and nice neighbourhood, walkable to train station (12min) where you can find most of the shops, restaurants are at. It has a park nearby that is prolly 5-6 min walk away that has playground for the kids . 7-11 are just 2 min walk and there are 2 of them. There is a public bath that is only 5 min walk away. Lawson about 8 min walk away. Overall it’s a convenient location and quiet from the hustle and bustle of the city. You can to see how the locals are living and enjoy the beautiful quiet scenery. House is very clean and things are well maintained. Would like to come back again.

Large private house/5LDK/Around tourist spots

AngelaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Very convenient place to stay in Tokyo. It accommodated our group of 10 pretty well. The beds were comfortable. It had plenty of showers and toilets. The kitchen was a bit sparse on cooking utensils. The genkan is tiny, so not much room to take shoes off. Plenty of large sized slippers available. Proximity to bus stop, 7-eleven, and supermarket are extremely convenient! While one of the washer/dryer combos worked well, the other continually gave errors. Garbage cans were a good size for our group. The host was very responsive and helpful.

NIYS apartments 08 type(50㎡)

Place is about 2 min walk from Meguro station as described where so many restaurants and convenient stores can be found. An elevator is a big plus unlike some of other Airbnb places in Japan, and as well as the washer and dryer. Everything was exactly as it was described and the communication was prompt. I used to live in Japan and still visit at least 2-3 times a year, and the location and the place couldn't be better. I'll be looking forward to come back again and highly recommend this place to others.
The hotel's exterior features sleek, modern architectural elements with a prominent sign displaying the name 'Randor.' The entrance is framed by large glass doors, welcoming guests into the lobby area. A covered space for reception equipment is visible, enhancing accessibility.

Easy check in, Nice quiet place with large common area. They asked us to clean and put back all dishes along with taking our own garbage down to sorting room to dispose of it ourselves. This wasn't an issue but seemed unusual as it was the only airbnb out of the 7 we stayed with in Japan that had such rules and we were still paying a cleaning fee.
