We loved our stay at the Cable Cottage. We have visited San Diego several times and this was our first time visiting Ocean Beach. The location of the house was great, in walking distance to the beach, restaurants and more. The house is cozy and comfortable. We loved sitting out front at the end of the day under a beautiful lemon tree. We would love to stay at the cottage again on our next trip to San Diego.

This was my second stay at Meaghan and Derek’s property, just me and my dog, Oreo. It’s the perfect place to rest and slow down. The quiet, combined with the beauty of the surroundings, truly helps to cultivate a peaceful mind and leave you feeling recharged. Meaghan and Derek are wonderful hosts—you can genuinely feel the love and care they put into tending their property. It’s a special place, and I’m grateful to have returned. I can’t wait for the next time!

We had a great stay at Tigg’s place. It was easy to get around, very walkable to get food or go to the beach. The studio had everything we needed. Would stay here again. Highly recommend!

We received excellent recommendations for places to see and eat prior to landing so we are grateful for that. Angelica's place is very beautiful nestled in between the mountains, peaceful and quiet. She is very responsive to any questions or needs. The donkey's and goats were very friendly. My kid had a wonderful time petting and feeding the animals. I think it was the highlight. There were citrus trees there that she let us pick from. The fruits were delicious. If you want a place to get away from and be isolated and absolute quiet, then this is the place. Glad we got the chance to enjoy the getaway.

Loved our stay here! Perfect location for walking to shops, restaurants, and the beach! If we did have to drive, everything was very close. Only issue was parking, I wish it had designated spots. Other than that we loved it and will definitely return and recommend!!

Our stay at Irina’s place was so lovely! She was very accommodating and responsive which I greatly appreciated. The space was thoughtfully decorated and made me feel like I was living my fantasy in a cozy, whimsical cottage! We have no complaints at all and can’t wait to visit again. We had a great experience staying at the apartment! It was very close to everything we had planned while in San Diego. The description was exactly what we got, and the instructions were clear and helpful. Zehra was very quick with responding to questions and was really helpful with everything we needed. Would recommend this to anyone visiting the area!

We loved staying at Allison & James’s off-grid cabin stay! They were extremely accommodating to our late check in time due to a late flight and communication was easy. The cabin itself is one of a kind and makes for such a unique experience. We took full advantage of everything it has to offer — outdoor cinema + the fire pit + the outdoor soaking tub. Although it’s considered off grid, the cabin didn’t miss a beat. I will say, the ride down to the cabin is a bit steep (due to an unfortunate flash flood years ago), but when staying in a spot like this, you’re signing up for an adventure and it definitely was one riding down the hill in the solar powered golf cart! Overall, we were really pleased with this stay and agreed it was the neatest place we’ve stayed yet! Thank you again Allison and James for your hospitality. Highest recommendation!

Staying at Jorge’s place was like stepping into a dream. Every area was thoughtfully adorned with vintage charm, and the garden radiated a serene, magical atmosphere. From start to finish, our experience was exceptional. Jorge and his wife were incredibly responsive and went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable. The mini mansion was tastefully decorated with unique antiques, and the tranquil garden added a touch of enchantment. Their warmth and care made us feel not just welcomed, but truly at home. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. It was a magical, meaningful experience we’ll always remember.

This was the perfect spot for a few days near the beach, and I would definitely stay again. There was a bit of confusion with check-in, but that was because the app was glitchy, not because of anything the host did. And the host was responsive immediately. We were even able to check in earlier than the regular check in time. The place is beautiful and perfect for me and my dog. Super close to the beach, easy parking, and I love that the yard was fully fenced in so my dog could run around to her heart’s content. Patio set up was lovely and I worked from there every morning. Will definitely stay again!

Great location and very walkable. This was a very cheerful and fun place to stay, as well as extremely comfortable. I loved how bright and airy it was, not to mention it being peaceful. I cannot wait to stay here again.

My husband, dog and I had a great stay at Casita Pacifica! The space was spotless and well-equipped . The bed was incredibly comfortable—truly one of the best we’ve ever slept in. Chad and Kevin were excellent hosts, and the amenities were thoughtfully planned and made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Mike has spent over 30 years transforming an already amazing Craftsman house into a curated space that is eclectic, inviting and relaxing. This is truly a labor of love and I’m fortunate that we were able to enjoy it for a nice long weekend in San Diego. Can’t recommend highly enough for a couple looking for a quiet retreat.

Our stay at Brooks and Jason’s place was amazing. My husband and I have extremely busy schedules, so it was great finding a place where we were able to completely relax and unwind. We loved the attention to detail and waking up to the breathtaking amazing view each day. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the appliances needed and we loved the personal touches, such as craft beverages from local businesses around the area, which added to nice touch the overall experience. Brooks and Jason were quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had despite providing us with rule book. Overall, the location offers amazing energy and one of the best experiences we have had. We will definitely come back to this amazing sanctuary!

Really enjoyed this place! Was a perfect little walk to the dog beach and downtown. Lots of little spots like OB Noodle House and Northside Tavern right around the corner with cute coffee shops near by as well. The deck was so relaxing with the hammock and little table. Perfect space for a getaway. Would highly recommend Alexandra’s place to all!!!

Victor’s tiny home was lovely and perfect for a solo traveler. He sent pictures with great detail on how to check in and was always responsive. I would stay again if I were to visit La Mesa area!
