An ideal starting point to discover Ticino. Lake Maggiore at your feet, the valleys and the centers (Locarno, Bellinzona and Lugano) are also easily accessible by public transport. The markets in Italy are also easily accessible by car or public transport. In winter and during the cool season, I recommend the studio for one person only!

Wonderful views of Locarno and Ascona! Parking is subject to a fee, from 7 am to 7 pm, cost: 1 hour CHF 0.80, Sundays & holidays free. Longer stays are also possible. Bus number 3 or 4 from the train station, bus stop: Monti della Trinità. The stairs to the house go up in Via del Tiglio.

With a short walk along the famous red road of “Via alla Riva” you can reach Muralto, Locarno, Tenero. Supermarkets such as Coop and Migros are within walking distance. Blue zone (public parking) for parking, present in the area and for a fee. Minusio train station is 300 meters from the accommodation.
