This Airbnb is lovely, very modern on the inside and in a peaceful location away from the city. It’s perfect if you want tranquility but still well located for things to do nearby in Lugano. The place was spacious and clean and perfect for us as a family of four.

We had great days at the place, it was very tidy and the kitchen was very well equipped. We were not very lucky with the weather, but we were able to use the "TV room" extensively. They always responded very quickly to our questions and we felt in great hands. The small swimming area is a highlight and I could still use the SUP boards, it was a lot of fun.

A good friend and I felt very comfortable at Sheila's. We were able to really enjoy her lovely balcony with beautiful views of the lake and mountains for our specially prepared breakfast. In the kitchen, we were allowed to use everything we needed. With Sheila's small bikes, you could ride everything along the lake to Ascona and enjoy dinner there. Near Sheila's home there was a lovely meadow and swimming in the lake, right by the fine Osteria restaurant. My good friend heard the train at night and needed earplugs. I myself didn't hear it much and I could sleep well without earplugs. Very nice hostess. You shouldn't have any trouble with the cats, because you encounter them everywhere every now and then, but they are not cheeky. Thank you Sheila for the nice stay with you and your trust.

Mirko was available and supportive from booking to checkout. You can immediately tell that he is a host with heart, soul and real passion. The accommodation matched the description exactly – authentic, lovingly designed and functional. The garden is a little paradise that immediately helps you unwind and rest. You have everything you need to completely switch off and get by for a few days. Thank you for this special experience and the honest, pleasant atmosphere!

Rustic style house but perfectly equipped. Large terrace and beautiful balcony with magnificent lake views. Quiet but easy to access for a side of the mountain, convenient garage. Shopping in Locarno or Italy (cheaper...). Remote host but very responsive and friendly. Nice terrace/view restaurant 5mn away (Osteria Vairano). Perfect base camp to visit the whole area, obviously beautiful.

The Uferhaus Luccio is detached on the lake promenade (free for residents). Directly opposite, a staircase leads into the lake. Ideal for relaxing and swimming, but also undisturbed work. 120 square meters over two floors are surrounded by over 700 square meters of garden with sunbathing lawn, shady trees and barbecue. From the terrace on the 2nd floor, you have a wide view of the lake. On the same property is the waterfront house Pescatore, a rustic house that can be booked for up to 2 people.

A different experience than the usual hotel, in comfort. Sleeping on the water in a sailboat that has two double cabins (double beds), plus two more beds in dinette. The boat has heating, hot water, shower and kitchen and refrigerator. The outdoor environment is also well organized with cushioning so you can enjoy a day in the sun. It is also possible to organise sightseeing tours of the lake by boat.

Everything was just amazing! I stayed for 4 nights with Sheila and her cats and had a very good time in Minusio. The house is very spacious, clean, nicely decorated and just a few footsteps away from the lake. Sheila is a wonderful host that helps you with everything you need and she is very nice to talk with!
