What a great hostel ! Probably the BEST accommodation you can find in Lake Tekapo! The hosts replied super quick and were really helpful! Really great location and such a lovely, cozy bedroom! The shared bathrooms were super clean and there were totally enough showers/toilets (we felt like we didn‘t even have to share ours with other guests, they were just across the room). The shared kitchen/dining rooms were super spacious, tidy and clean! There were many kitchen utensils we could use and the shared space was very cozy and welcoming! A lovely hostel in a great location! We would definitely come again! ☺️

Our double shared a bathroom with just one other room which was great. We were only there for a night, but you could hire out surfboards or lessons at the hostel too.

Wonderful place to stay, with close proximity to the town's main road. Room was clean and today upon arrival and super quiet at night. Would stay there again!

I highly recommend! Amazing views, pure nature around you and really close to start (or end) the Routeburn track (it was the reason why we choose this accommodation).

Nice Hostel in the middle of Havelock on the mainstreet. Great view from the back terrace with BBQ etc. Comfy!

This is a room at a hostel. it’s a private room with access to very good common areas. The room was small but had mini fridge, electric kettle and private bathroom and amazing view. The common area has a view of the entire lake. Kitchen had everything you need to cook meals- pots pans, crockpot, toaster, ovens, dishes, storage in the fridge, freezer and lockers. Walkable to pathz, store and restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

Great location, right in the middle of village centre. Within walking distance to the lake, groceries, and restaurants. The room was spacious for us 4, lots of room for luggage, and comortable beds, too. The shared kitchen also had plenty of available space for cooking.

Great stay go a few nights and very central just what I needed for a quick trip to Queenstown

A hostel, like we've never seen before. Super well equipped, very very clean, very very well maintained, a warmest welcome with lots of explanations about the surrounding activities, the staff with a big smile and always at the top!

I stayed for one night and had a great experience overall. The space was clean, cozy, and had everything I needed for a short stay. However, I slept in a high bed that didn’t have any guardrails or safety measures to prevent falling, which could be an issue for some guests. Apart from that, I enjoyed my time and would recommend it for those who don’t mind the bed setup!

Looks like a newly built hostel. Everything is pristine and in good condition. Loads of space and sunlight. Will be back!

We stayed for a night at John's place and it was amazing. Although we booked for the wrong night, he managed to find us a room and even upgraded us even though it was our mistake. JK was really friendly and comprehensive, we can only recommend !
