The facility is located at the foot of Mt. Ibuki in Maibara City, Shiga Prefecture. Enjoy a relaxing time feeling the blessings of the mountains and nature to your heart's content. We also rent BBQ grills and tent saunas, so you can enjoy an extraordinary experience while feeling at one with nature. * We may not be able to provide a tent sauna depending on availability. Please note that we are only able to lend it free of charge, and even if it cannot be used, we cannot change the amount.

This is a 10-minute walk from JR Omihachiko Station and an 8-minute walk to the nearest Biwako no Hama. You can see Lake Biwa from the building. Pets are also welcome!　You can enjoy local life without worrying about inns, hotels, or group glamping accommodations. Fiber optic internet, Wi-Fi available throughout the house, play room, work desk, large TV with terrestrial and on-demand channels. Enjoy life on Lake Biwa with your loved ones and pets, from a few nights to a longer stay. The floor on the ground floor is completely dirt-free and is maintained only with edible oil, so it is safe for both people and pets. Our guesthouse is in a beautiful mountain village, near to it are pristine forests with beech trees and an ancient mountain path that was used to carry sea products from Japan sea to Kyoto in old days. In front of the guesthouse runs a stream that is a source of Lake Biwa and its water is crystal clear ; in early summer nights many fireflies fly over the stream. In winter, we have a lot of snow ; sometimes it reaches 2 meters from the ground! On clear nights you can enjoy the sky full of stars.

There is a Yamato Transport office nearby, so it is possible to send luggage from the airport and pick it up at the nearby office.

We have a Canadian house, just a stone through away from the beautiful Lake Biwa. Suitable place to stay for family trip, with friends and work trip. For 7guests or less, we rent 3 bed rooms (with 8 beds) For 8guests or more, we can rent the extra cabin space which is still part of the building but usually there is no access.(5 bed rooms and an attic, 12 beds and extra bathroom) please see photos and enquire within. - No Party - No BBQ after 9pm
