I stayed 3 nights in Tomohito’s apartment with my wife and my daughter. I can confidently share that it was the best airbnb experience we had so far not because of the perfect location, beautiful and large apartment but also the friendly and supportive communication of the hosts. I really felt like we were staying in our apartment. No need to mention that the stairs might be a littlle bit challenging with heavy suitcases but all in all, I can not think of any other place to stay in Tokyo next time after this experience

Wouw it couldn't be any better!! masa is such a nice guy and very welcoming! upon arriving we felt welcome, he explained everything and went his way. he had answers for every question we had and helped us to the best of his ability. upon arriving we gave him some Dutch gifts ( fridge magnet of a wooden shoe with tulips and a pack of stroopwafels) this shook him but he accepted it with a smile from ear to ear! the accommodation was clean and well taken care of, plenty of room for 2 people and really close to Ebara-machi station, which we used the most to get around. friendly people around Ota and the 7-11 around the corner is also very helpful! next time we are planning to stay longer! Domo arigato gozaimasu masa-san!

My family and I really enjoyed the stay at this place! Jimmy and Nabe are super friendly, responsive and helpful. We felt very welcomed upon arrival in this amazing place with ear plugs, cables, bottled water and sweets. Very impressive that the hosts provided detailed recommendations and offered to make local restaurants reservations for us (strongly recommend b/c most restaurants don’t allow walk-in). The location is PERFECT to get around and is super quiet. There is also a direct metro nearby to HND airport. The only minor surprise, not a big deal, is that the stairs are bit steep for my large suitcase (parents stayed at lower floors with restrooms on the same floor and we stayed on 5th). Would def book here again next time visiting Tokyo (with a smaller suitcase lol).

Clean and tidy space, with a nice little terrace area upstairs. Plenty of options for sleeping and the kitchen was very well stocked with cooking equipment. Great communication from the host. Thank you very much!

I honestly don’t know where to begin. Staying in Keiko’s home was truly one of the greatest honors of our time in Japan—it was a highlight of the entire trip. From the moment we walked through her door, we were immersed in Japanese culture. Keiko greeted us with warmth and kindness, making us feel immediately at home. She patiently guided us through everything, showing us how to use her space with care and respect. Her home is a reflection of her spirit—graceful, serene, and full of beauty. I was deeply moved and inspired by her presence and generosity. Being invited to take part in her traditional Japanese tea ceremony was an experience I will never forget. She took the time to teach us the rituals and meaning behind each step, explaining everything with such clarity and heart. She dressed us in beautiful kimonos, carefully helping us put them on the correct way. Drinking matcha that was pure and fresh—words fail me. It was unlike anything I’ve ever tasted. Yoshi-san was incredibly friendly and proactive during our stay. Asakusa was fun to walk around, and access to the Ginza line was perfect for our plans in Shinjuku and Shibuya. Our group was 10 adults, and the space fit us well.

Good apartment for exploring Ueno area and close to train stations too.

Love the place, host, and everything. Very homey and super clean and well organized. Gave me a lot of insights on how I should decorate my own home. Would definitely return if there’s a chance.

This place was definitely a steal for the price. Lots to do in the area. It’s in a local neighborhood so it’s not too busy or noisy but it’s within a good distance from all the things you’d want to do in Tokyo. The host was responsive and helpful and gave a great list of places to visit in the area. Can’t go wrong with this place!

Transportation is very accessible. Close to convenient stores. Few bus stops away from Asakusa tobu line train station and Sensoji temple, Nakamesi dori and Don quiote. Love it here.

Nice place , still new fresh and clean, everything I needed was there, comfortable bed, powerful A/C, great location 5 minute walk to Sky Tree and Train stations with connections to anywhere in Tokyo, Responsive hosts very accommodating. I would stay here again.

The place is super nice with a good location inside Asakusa neighborhood. 15 to 20 min walking distance to the Asakusa temple and station, which is super well connected. Our only difficulties were: going up and down stairs with luggage, and adjusting the temperature of water to shower. Nothing more. I would recommend :)

Overall, we had a great stay. The location showed up funky for taxi drivers, so we would use the restaurant address across the street as our waypoint. The space was large enough to fit our group of 5 comfortably, although I will say the pillows were quite firm for us. I would definitely recommend this place for others who want easy access to Akihabara.

In conclusion, we were highly satisfied with our stay. Mr. Masaru's property is exceptionally well-suited for group travelers, offering a clean, modern, and aesthetically pleasing environment, complemented by a comprehensive range of amenities.

This place was perfect for our family of five. it's super close to many attractions and restaurants and trains were easy to get to. We absolutely loved the area. the place was clean and met our needs. We had elderly parents with us as well as our 9 year old and we all agreed that we were sad to leave this gem in Asakusa. Highly recommend!

It was a quiet neighborhood with short walks to the train stations. We enjoyed our stayed and the comfortable lodging.

Location was great! We can walk to all Ueno attractions and take train to practically anywhere in Japan from the nearby Ueno station. Apartment was cozy enough for two persons. We didn't need to cook at all, given the many food choices within walking distance. The large supermarket (within 10 min) offers a large variety of takeaway food, fruits and bakes at reasonable prices. Would stay again if we are back in Ueno!

Great location for restaurants and sightseeing. Easy access to multiple trains with one of the trains being very close. Place was good size for family of four. There is a flight of stairs up to the second floor but then an elevator afterwards. Host was very friendly and met us at check in to help with luggage.

The host's service attitude is very good 👍 Rooms are clean, bright and airy Although it's a bit far from the station, there are bicycles nearby to use Soon to Ueno Station. Very cozy experience ~🥰

We stayed at June's small studio apartment for the last couple nights of our vacation. It was cozy, and the perfect place for just a couple nights. The area is fairly quiet & it's a short walk to Ueno park, from where you can easily access the rest of Tokyo. We were able to drop off our luggage & check in early, which was great as we had accumulated quite a lot of souvenirs on the trip!

It was nice to be in a quiet neighborhood, and it was nice that the host responded quickly and was kind. And the accommodation was small but cozy, and it was nice because it felt comfortable.
