Family-friendly vacation rentals in Sussex

If i could give Paul and his home 6 stars I would. He was an excellent host. The home had everything and more than our group expected. It was close enough to down town but far enough to feel like we were away from the city.

We had a wonderful stay at Daniel’s place! The house is beautiful and the view is stunning. It was really clean and felt very welcoming. We traveled with grandparents and kids and everyone found something to enjoy. The pool table was a huge hit, as was the badminton set and the multiple outdoor seating areas. This one is highly recommended!

Sarah was a wonderful host with a beautiful home! My friends and I had a great time at this spot. It was clean and comfortable. Sarah was accommodating and responsive. Also super easy to get around Tosa or easy to get downtown!

We had a wonderful stay at the lake cabin. It was a great spot for our family of 5. We brought our children, ages 4, 2, and 4 months old and thought the cabin worked well for our needs. It is not particularly childproof, but we had no issues and our children loved the yard and the lake. I loved sitting on the back deck to enjoy the beautiful view in the early mornings when my infant had woken me up :) The bathroom was spacious, and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. Everything about the stay was smooth and easy.

I cannot recommend this Airbnb enough! Our group of 9 loved staying in this private, spacious lodge over Memorial Day weekend. A short 20 minute drive from Lake Geneva and only 5 minutes away from town, you can't find this kind of privacy and charm anywhere else. Check in/check out was seamless, and we were delighted by our host leaving us snacks, pancake mix, and coffee to enjoy. We enjoyed many beach volleyball games and bonfires, and the hot tub was an added bonus! Yecenia was friendly and responsive, and even dropped off an Apple TV console when our WiFi connection was unstable. Our large group never felt crowded in the space. I would absolutely book again!

Always love staying with Daniel and Anne's place! Not only are they always super responsive, but their property is beautiful and well set up for large groups. walk friendly, and lots of nearby food options. 100% would recommend, and we definitely hope to be back in the future!

Easy to access beautiful home which looks just like the photos. The host was extremely responsive when I had questions - would absolutely stay again.

What a great stay! This is such a colorful and unique loft and really was a great experience. The location was close to a lot of things, and plenty of street parking if you need an extra space. We had such a great time!

Matthew was very helpful and friendly… the house was amazing had everything you need to feel right at home and top of that the park was across the street.. very nice and relaxing would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Great weekend stay! The house was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed for a home away from home. Loved the outdoor space, plus it was dog-friendly with kayaks, games, and a ping pong table. Peaceful location and great communication—would definitely stay again!

Amanda’s Airbnb was perfect for myself, my husband, and my almost two year old son. The separate living room ended up working out great for a pack n play for my son. The Airbnb was walkable to the farmer’s market and a breakfast spot and the neighborhood seemed to be very quiet and family friendly. Amanda and her family were so friendly whenever we crossed paths and were extremely accommodating. She even went as far as asking us if our son needed anything before our stay and leaving out some toys and books for him. She was also so gracious and let us stay a little longer on our checkout day so he could nap. Hosts like this truly make all the difference when it comes to traveling with young kids. I highly recommend Amanda and would definitely stay again!

The place was very nice and the layout worked well. It was a charming place and met are needs well. Having a bunch of restaurants on the same block was very nice and made it easy to find a place to eat. The internet was quite slow, which was a bit unfortunate. We also ran into an issue with the thermostat, but Jake was responsive and was able to resolve the issue within an hour or two, even though it was in the evening.

Steve’s place was great. He was very responsive, checked in about our comfort level with the temperature, and offered great suggestions. Would definitely stay here again.

Do not hesitate to book Connie’s place! She was so kind and sweet and accommodating! I travel with my twin teenage daughters and my son for wheelchair basketball camp at UWW. The girls and I had a great time exploring the city and surrounding areas while my son was at camp. I really enjoyed the weight room at UWW and my girls loved Studio 84, Bakehouse for cupcakes, paletas at Michoacana, and a quick auto repair at Omega. We also really enjoyed Salem brewing, Whitewater’s beach and just all of the simple, small town charm! We loved the hot tub and game room and Connie’s place truly had everything we could possibly need. We felt so comfortable and at home and she was super quick to respond when we had questions. She completely went above and beyond to make us comfortable and accommodate our needs. As a host myself in Chicago, I would absolutely give her 5+ starts for the cleanest and most welcoming Airbnb we’ve stayed at thus far and we travel often! 🩷

We really enjoyed our visit to Shorewood in Corey’s home. It was comfortable, clean and the kitchen was stocked with everything we could possibly need. We had a family of 6 and the layout was perfect, with plenty of room for everyone. Corey was helpful and flexible and I highly recommend Corey’s home for your next visit to Shorewood.

The accommodations are lovely and Jodi was a fabulous host. She was very proactive in her communications and responsive. She provides many awesome amenities like white noise makers in rooms, ample linens, and toiletries. Location is great- walkable to lake, beach, and shops/restaurants. I would stay again and highly recommend the place!

Nikki was proactive with sending clear instructions on how to enter the building. Without it, it may have been pretty confusing to enter, but she was always responsive to any and all questions we had. She was also sweet to provide how-tos and recommendations of things to do around the area. The place itself was lovely and everything was pristine. Thank you, Nikki!

An amazing stay at Bob/Jo's! House had all the amenities as listed and what we needed for a fantastic girls weekend. The beach access, patio space and ability to have fire on the beach were highlights. Would definitely stay again.
