The cabin is beautifully located by Jølstervannet right next to highway E39 (this may cause some traffic noise) in an area with scattered cabin buildings. Jølster offers beautiful nature and good fishing opportunities in Jølstervannet which is known as a very good fishing water. Here is great hiking terrain with marked hiking trails. From the cabin it is a short distance to the shop, golf course and Jølster ski center. Jølster can offer cultural experiences, local crafts, art museum. From the cabin it is walking distance to Tindefjelle and Steinegga.

Torvstova - Fjærland Cabins

Well-equipped, cozy cabin located undisturbed on the outskirts of the farm and with a short distance to the fjord. Rowboat available in the summer. Patio with fireplace. The cabin is located 2 km from the grocery store and about 40 km from the Sogndal shopping center and only 30 km from Sogndal Ski Center. Fjærland has excellent hiking opportunities and in the summer you can visit the Norwegian Book Town and the Norwegian Glacier Museum. Fjærland is also a good starting point for day trips to e.g. Sognegjellet, Gaularfjellet, Loen, Flåm, etc.

Idyllic summer cottage by the waterfront in Jølster

Welcome to Jølster! This summer cottage is idyllically located on the waterfront at Jølstravatnet, with a stunning view. Enjoy late or active days in the immediate vicinity of both the sea and mountains. The outdoor area is large, and here you can enjoy long summer days, go out with the rowboat (included), swim in crystal clear water, try out SUP boards or kayak (which is also included). The old house at Solnes Farm

Part of duplex on active farm. We are the third generation to run the farm after my husband's grandparents received the farm as a wedding gift. Here you get to stay in the original farmhouse from around 1950. We live in the other part of the house. Cozy place, fully furnished and with everything you need for shorter or longer stays. We have 8 alpacas and many goats on the farm, you can join in the care on demand and if we have the opportunity in a busy everyday life as we are in full employment and have four small children.

Nice trips nearby, including Vallestadfossen which is 500 meters away. Mountain trips are also nearby. Below the cabin it is possible to fish trout (small) in the river. This is free. The nearest town is Førde which is 30 minutes away. Haukedalsvatnet is about 500 m from the cabin, where you can buy a fishing license. Here is a nice place to find peace.

In the evening, you can lounge on the terrace with its 7-seat Jacuzzi, gas barbecue, and garden furniture. Jostedalsbreen Cabin + Kayak

The cottage is located on the popular tourist route Nasjonal turistveg Gaularfjellet, which stretches for about 114 km and offers spectacular views of fjords, waterfalls and mountain valleys. During your stay, the cottage will be accompanied by views of Sognefjorden, the longest fjord in Europe, and numerous waterfalls. The picturesque town of Balestrand is just a 25-minute drive away. The cottage is located directly next to a nature reserve for wild birds and many other attractions.
