From the cabin it is a short distance to the shop, golf course and Jølster ski center. Jølster can offer cultural experiences, local crafts, art museum. From the cabin it is walking distance to Tindefjelle and Steinegga.

Fjærland has excellent hiking opportunities and in the summer you can visit the Norwegian Book Town and the Norwegian Glacier Museum. Fjærland is also a good starting point for day trips to e.g. Sognegjellet, Gaularfjellet, Loen, Flåm, etc.

The old house at Solnes Farm

Part of duplex on active farm. We are the third generation to run the farm after my husband's grandparents received the farm as a wedding gift. Here you get to stay in the original farmhouse from around 1950. We live in the other part of the house. Cozy place, fully furnished and with everything you need for shorter or longer stays. We have 8 alpacas and many goats on the farm, you can join in the care on demand and if we have the opportunity in a busy everyday life as we are in full employment and have four small children.
