Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Norway

Marion’s place is a little slice of heaven! Such an amazing view over the fjord, this rustic yet cosy, comfortable home has with everything we needed… (including fluffy towels- a very welcome change!) We enjoyed some down time from our busy holiday schedule, and loved soaking up the location - from coffee by the lounge windows,; a read on the patio, cozying up with blankets. Marion has truly thought of enerything. The laundry in the bathroom is probably the most functional one we’ve had on out travels. A quick 10 min drive to town too to cafes and supermarket, and of course the gondola for amazing fjord views Lastly , Marion was a lovely responsive host, very helpful with local recommendations. If we ever find ourselves in this part of the world - we will definitely stay again!

Agriculture and Architecture mix. Living on the farm. Hike the property to historical Viking battle site. Golden hour sunset from property was amazing. The boathouse is a special and unique salute to Norway. 🇳🇴 Hope to return and stay longer next time. 🤞

The house is very modernly renovated and beautifully and stylishly furnished. We felt comfortable there. The bed was super comfortable, we slept wonderfully. The lakeside location was super quiet and perfect for switching off. We liked it there, but the house could use a little love in one place or another. Communication with Benjamin was great and he responded quickly to any questions.

We were 8 adults who have had a great stay in a rich basement apartment with an incredibly nice view. Short distance to Røldalterasse and the ski resort. Easter 2025 will be remembered as memorable and fun. Espen as a host has to be experienced. He just wanted the best for us. Very good communication. Would love to come back.

Wonderful stay at a quiet location close enough to walk down the street to restaurants. Hosts let me park the motorcycle in the garage, and had the door open and ready for me. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

It was great to stay at the Richard's place. Beautiful surroundings and easy to get to Voss and Flam. Richard is a nice and friendly host who made our holidays unforgettable.

We loved this cottage located in a very nice and quiet natural setting. It is the result of the renovation of an old barn equipped with all the contemporary comforts. There is nothing missing, except perhaps a microwave. The outdoor layout, as well as the chalet/saloon-style interior decoration, immediately take you on a journey through the 20th century, where you will discover with curiosity an endless collection of objects that will transport you through time.

Apartment was incredible and perfect for our family of 3. If you want to be away from city center, this is the place for you. Local transportation is within walking distance and very reliable even during a snowstorm. Knut was welcoming and helpful. Can’t recommend Knut’s place enough.

We had a pleasant stay at Marit’s place! If you are looking for a stay as if in one’s house, this is the right spot. The kitchen is well equipped, the apartment is spacious and communication with Marit was easy and fast. Away from the crowds, the area is quiet and peaceful!

This was our second stay with Jon Robert & Anna. It is a beautiful place across a small road from the lake with mountain views - including views of waterfalls & the glacier. The apartment is decorated with personal touches, making you feel like you are at home. There are MANY things to do just a drive away. Ålesund is only an hour away. We also drove to Runde (the famous bird island) from here. Jon Robert has a printed guide book with exact routes on driving tours of the area. He is so helpful and friendly. The apartment is very clean, and in very good condition.

An absolutely amazing place to stay - the easiest 5-star review I’ve ever given! Breathtaking views from this beautiful and secluded cabin. The hot tub and fire pit are wonderful and the entire property is gorgeous, just like you can see in the photos. Two things to be aware of: 1) It’s a 3-4 min hike down to the cabin from the road where you park, but the hosts provided clear instructions for where to park and were super helpful in bringing our luggage down and back up during check-in and check-out. 2) There is another cabin right next to this one which the hosts also rent out. During the weekend that my wife and I were here, there was nobody staying in the other cabin so the area was a private oasis for us. Worth keeping in mind though that you’ll be sharing the space with others a bit though if anyone is staying in the other cabin. It’s a beautiful place and absolutely lives up to the photos in the listing. The hosts are helpful, friendly, and speak good English. 5/5!

Our stay was just amazing! The house is in a perfect location with a fantastic view of the fjord – it doesn't get any better than that. The amenities and furnishings are high quality and very comfortable. The e-charging option right by the house was particularly practical. Communication with the host was quick, straightforward and very friendly. He was always helpful and professional – we felt very well looked after. 5 out of 5 stars – we would have liked to stay there forever!

Everything about this stay was wonderful. From the beginning, Fredrik was communicative leading up to the stay. He offered advice and recommendations for things to do in the area. This home is immaculately designed and decorated. Very Scandinavian and minimalist design, which is my personal favorite. On top of that, the view is just gorgeous. It was hard to ever leave the home. We hope to come back again one day and stay again.

The house is everything the photos show and more! Incredibly beautiful views that you can keep looking at. House itself is very tastefully decorated and offers everything you need. Perfect layout to stay with family or 2 couples. Both inside and outside very nice seating areas. Sauna wonderful luxury. The area is beautiful for walks (up high😊) and it is half an hour from the fantastic Kistefos museum! And then also close to Oslo, while you are totally in nature, with peace and quiet. Blessed! Trine is very attentive and always responded quickly. We would have loved to stay longer and certainly hope to come back!

This place is great! We were so sorry to leave after 3 nights. We would have liked to stay even longer. The cabin has all the comforts. You sleep wonderfully and the views are phenomenal. The host had also given nice hiking tips. Highly recommended!
