Beautiful spot to spend a long weekend. So close to the beach and amazing to hear the wave crashing at night. Even though it rained quite a lot, we were explored the coast on foot, raced waves on the sand, and stayed cosy inside with the fire on and soup cooking on the stove. Kids loved all the games. Husband got out for a mountain bike ride and loved reading the retro mtb mags! Thanks for having us!

Slow River is the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at! The team’s attention to detail make this house so special and the stay extremely comfortable. We had 2 wonderful nights sleep and it was the perfect spot to lounge around in the sun or by the fire at night to read a book. I couldn’t recommend Slow River more and we will 100% be back!!

A nice base for a stay in St Helens. Great indoor space for our young family but there is no yard and vehicles outside the front door (as we expected). Kitchen is very usable and even has an oven.
