The house is very easy reachable via public transportation; the post-van is 5 minutes to go, with direct connection to St. Gallen (with an overall travel time of 30 minutes). The apartment itself is in the basement of an old Stickerhaus, that is an embroiderer house where once the famous embroidery of the region have been manufactured. We guarantee leisurely days in an unconventional place.

Our house is located on the edge of the village center. A large old birch is the landmark in our garden. The stately wooden house was built 140 years ago in the Biedermeier style and has changed little in all these years. It still reflects a forward-looking and cosmopolitan generation. The accommodation was part of a small local farm with a shop selling local products, open 24/7. We recommend taking advantage of the breakfast offer from home products. Quiet, beautiful, rural, village peaceful environment. Priska was very friendly, helpful, quick to respond to messages and questions. The journey to the train station took about 10 minutes, the town has a good location for trips in Appenzell. The room was smaller, but fully sufficient for a stay.

We felt very comfortable in Anita's country experience. It is a rustic and cozy farmhouse that has been lovingly renovated and furnished. You can feel in many small things that it is very important to Anita that the guests feel comfortable. There was also a lovely welcome package. We were able to relax very well. In the morning you could enjoy the first coffee on the bench in front of the house overlooking the countryside and cows. There is also a large dining table under an old tree with a beautiful view. There were also a lot of toys for the children. We say thank you from the heart and will be happy to come back.
