Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Southern United States

This was the perfect cottage to stay at for our overnight kayak trip to Burgess Falls. It was a short 25 minute drive and also 10 minutes to Cookeville and access to whatever we needed. Really was the perfect location for us. The cottage itself is on a farm, easy to find and was the cutest with so many sheep/donkey details! Right next to it were sheep and donkey which we gladly fed some apple and carrot snacks that were in the fridge. They were all so friendly and after a long drive, this was a fun activity to do before we settled in. It was calming to see the animals out the windows from the kitchen as they roamed around. The cottage is very nicely decorated, updated, clean, spacious and the bed was very comfortable. We slept well in the comfy bed before our long day of kayaking the next day! Alice was very nice and responds quickly! Wish we stayed longer!

The property was exactly as described, the arcade machines were a hit, the bed in the master bedroom was one of the nicest I’ve ever slept on, and the massive TV was fantastic for lazy night in movie watching. Would definitely book it again.

The Silo is the perfect, peaceful getaway! The host sent easy to follow directions and the house was pristine! It’s beautiful and better than the pictures can convey!

This place is great! There is a lot more space than I assumed from pictures! This worked great for our family of 3 and we had plenty of extra room!

Great Lake cottage! Super comfortable beds, clean fresh linens and cozy vibe. It rained and stormed for nearly our entire stay but the house stayed comfortable. Coffee bar and snacks was an extra bonus. Fenced in back yard was a huge help for the dogs! Thanks to Drew for a fantastic stay!

Very nice home in a quiet neighborhood. I was on a work trip so I wasn't at the home much but the time I was there felt right at home. The theater is great ans works well, could use an extra set of speakers but really not a big deal. the hot tub was well kept and nice and the string lights made it very peaceful. The bed was comfortable and clean. The heated bathroom floor was awesome and the rest of the bathroom was clean. All in all a nice place and nice hosts. I liked not having a list of things to do at check out. Thank you.

I believe this is one of the best and most peaceful places we've ever stayed! it's just absolutely beautiful and serene! You wake up to the lake, eat breakfast, walk out on the dock, ride the kayaks, paddle boats, fish, etc. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and lake fun setting! My grandson absolutely loved it and thanked me over and over for taking him there! I wish we could have stayed longer but we are on a road trip and relocating back home to N.C.

We enjoyed Angie's place and would book it again if we revisited the area. It has a gorgeous view from inside and outside the house. The home is gated all around, so you get that extra secluded, cozy feeling. Ending the evening in the jacuzzi with the lake view is a sight you must see for yourself! The place is a beautiful little paradise to spread some well needed relaxation. Beautiful house and back yard. Hot tub and pool allowed us to relax and enjoy the time.

The cottage was top notch. It was very beautiful with little extra amenities throughout to feel like high in hotel quality. It was private and tranquil. We loved seeing the horses and chickens and especially the pond. Our dogs loved it. This was the first place we have been where are dogs felt comfortable and happy.

Chris and Jakes stay was amazing. We appreciated all the extras. They were both very responsive and answered all of our questions. It was just as described and provided a quiet interlude between wedding events. The mattresses on the beds were awesome and for someone who struggles in that department, a full night's sleep was no problem.

This was a great peaceful getaway. We booked for my daughter’s graduation/birthday party. There was plenty of room and the backyard was perfect for entertaining. Victor even brought us fresh eggs from the chickens!

Hosts were very friendly greeting us outside when we arrived and saying goodbye when we left. We enjoyed a nice, quiet and restful weekend. The bed was incredibly comfortable.

Great stay. Everyone enjoyed the property. The host even had sodas, water, and snacked he said we could eat/drink. I would rent again.

Definitely a hidden gem! looks just like the pictures...the pool, the outdoor seating, flowers everywhere, swings, beautiful. very relaxing spot and nice home to rest and recharge. don't get thrown off by the drive there because you turn in and it's a hidden oasis. we brought our own food to grill out and they supply fresh eggs from their chickens. wish we stayed longer.

This is a wonderful little log cabin in the woods. We had a very fun stay with our cats. Highly recommended and the host Grady is very friendly and responsive. He makes great coffee and is very sweet to our kitten. We would love to go back whenever we are in the area next time.

Awesome place, no complaints. The place was loaded with a lot of stuff to make your stay even more awesome. Extra blankets, extra towels, even blankets for your dog's :), water, snacks, etc.

The bird house was amazing! Modern glamping at your finest with beautiful, peaceful, private scenery. I loved the decor and vibe. 10/10 would stay here again. Even though it was rainy and hot, the host had everything we needed to stay cool and comfortable. We even caught a few bass and blue gill.

I was amazed how beautiful Bunny and Gene created this little paradise. Nestled in nature... Had visits from deer, birds nesting and beautiful birds. I enjoyed the first cup of coffee on the deck diving into nature. Gene and Bunny are amazing hosts. Thank you for making this place a beautiful paradise.

We were traveling cross-country from Kentucky to Arizona with our two dogs (ages 10 and 7), hoping to give them a big adventure! We came across this yurt last minute and honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. As soon as we pulled in, we felt like we were home. Being surrounded by the woods reminded us so much of where we live, and it was incredibly peaceful. The property is beautifully maintained, and the creek running nearby just added to the magic. Our dogs were in heaven — plenty of space to explore and relax, and it was safe and quiet enough for them to truly enjoy themselves. This place was everything we were looking for: unique, serene, and immersed in nature. We’re so grateful we found it and will absolutely be back if we’re ever in the area again. HIGHLY recommend for anyone traveling with pets or simply looking to disconnect and enjoy some true peace and quiet.
