Tree house - Spectacular sky views

MuraliRating, 5 stars1 day ago
We had a great stay at the tree house. It was a great find for us - the property maintains a lush green environment. - the glass open views from the house was magical. Waking up to squirrels running and birds singing. - there is a nice private campfire set up. - especially the home cooked food and caretakers were amazing. Definitely don't miss the stay.

We had a great stay here for one night. A great little tree house in the jungle. Amazing hosts, 2 lovely dogs and some great food cooked for us. There's a great place nearby too watch the sunset while overlooking Sigiriya and other mountains in the distance. Highly recommended!

A great place nestled between verdant tea plantation with scenic views was very refreshing and a pleasant escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The host Mrs. Molly was really friendly and courteous, special mention to Sanu who is very knowledgeable and helpful and went to great lengths to make our stay comfortable. We had a great experience overall.

Vista Treehouse / Hideout Sigiriya Boutique Hotel

TimRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We had a really great time at the treehouse. It's a beautiful spot, surrounded by nature, with an unbeatable view of Lion's Rock. Falling asleep to a chorus of cicadas was very special, even with the odd peacock landing on the roof! Very clean, and well maintained, including the pool. Slightly strange smelling bathroom feels like a small price to pay for a hot shower in a tree! Balcony and the pool are both great spots to relax. Restaurant is fine, but don't expect anything too fancy. Host is more wonderful than heart emojis can express. We had a minor health crisis on the first day, and she and the staff could not have been more helpful. The manager also negotiated a good deal for local transfers, which we really appreciated.

Minivet Treehouse @Aranyakam plantation bungalow

SohanRating, 5 stars34 months ago
This place is heaven on earth! One of the most beautiful destinations I’ve ever visited. You made it a home. Felt like home throughout our stay. The food is superb, jaffars service is outstanding and Mr. Rajesh is the best host. Amazing fun loving person. Showed us the whole property and explained each and every detail about the property and plantations. A must visit place for nature lovers. Living on a bed of clouds once you’re here.

Rejuvenate yourself at Rahut Tree House

ShrutiRating, 5 stars1 day ago
If you're a nature lover then this place is perfect! Our stay was everything that we thought it would be - we walked around the jungle and spent a lot of time in the water stream! Some things to know before you visit: 1. Important to carry an insect repellant since it's in the middle of a forest 2. It's a 20 min drive from Peravoor, most resturants are located here. Since the cabin is quite remote, you would need to visit Peravoor for meals. Plan accordingly! 3. MOST IMPORTANT - The water stream is a one of a kind experience, do not miss spending time in it :)

Habarana Nature Loft

DeborahRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We were picked up in Habarana with the Tuc Tuc. We spent 4 nights there and felt comfortable right from the beginning. From the balcony you have the feeling of being alone in the middle of the forest, although the nearest house is not far away. The concert of the forest at sunrise is indescribable! Only suitable for nature lovers! Good mosquito net available. Open air shower in the forest . The very simple kitchen of Marlon's wife can be used. If they are on site, they can prepare breakfast and dinner on request. Otherwise, self-catering is needed (unless the neighbors bring something by). Drinking water should always be brought with you enough. Channa and his wife look at the place when Marlon is not on site, they are super friendly! Channa also makes safaris in the adjacent national park. Marlon and his wife are extremely warm, helpful and accommodating. They have a lot to say and it's very interesting to talk to.

Tree house with mountain view

KellyRating, 5 stars18 months ago
We absolutely loved our stay. It felt so peaceful falling asleep listening to nature and then eating a yummy breakfast with the monkeys in the morning (great breakfast thank you!) It's only a ten minute walk to the main street where there are plenty of bars, restaurants, shops and tuk tuks to get around. Communication was great - set up a group chat which was very responsive and helpful. Would 100% recommend the treehouse if staying in Ella.

Great place, far from the hustle and bustle of the city. Very peaceful, quiet coffee plantation with Trees as well. Feels one with Nature. The Tree house maintained well, neat and clean. Neat and clean bathroom with Geyser. AC and TV available in the room. It has a great balcony wherein you could spend time sitting and just doing nothing and just enjoy the nature. The place looked safe and secure for family and I definitely will recommend to anybody.

Had a wonderful stay at this property nestled in the heart of a coffee plantation—perfect for nature lovers. We visited during the monsoon, and the lush greenery made the experience even more magical. The atmosphere was serene, with only the soothing sounds of nature around. Sachin was incredibly responsive and always ready to help, and the caretakers were attentive and available around the clock. Truly grateful for the hospitality. Highly recommended!

Sungreen cottage sigiriya ( Amazing T/H )

LauraRating, 5 stars5 months ago
nice place with huge garden and private balcony. The room also had air conditioning. The location was a bit outside, but the supermarket and restaurants were within walking distance. We also got recommendations on what sights we could see. There would even have been the possibility of booking tours directly with pick-up at the accommodation, and tuktuks can also be organized directly, but these are more expensive than if you go to the street yourself. Due to a double booking, we had to leave our room 1 day earlier, but an alternative was arranged in the village and we got breakfast for free. It was a nice stay there.

Nature's Nest: The Treehouse Experience

ToddRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Cool location and a fun experience to be perched in the treehouse. The grounds are nicely maintained, the pool was refreshing and the lounge area with hammocks under the palm trees provided lovely shade and a chance to enjoy the breeze. Really nice staff and a perfect getaway destination for relaxation in a natural setting.

“Spending Christmas in your House as a family has been an unforgettable experience. Surrounded by the beauty of nature, we cherished moments of peace, yoga, and reflection. The meals prepared by Jeyanthi and Chaturangi were absolutely wonderful – every dish was a delight. The rice field hike with Sudharma was a highlight, offering breathtaking views and memories we will always treasure. Everything about our stay was simply perfect, and we are deeply grateful for this incredible experience. “

Birds Eye Estate Geodesic Glamping Domes

Ravi Prasad Rating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Place is good but can't exactly be called as Glamping as it is more within the compound of a house overlooking coffee estate. I suggest hosts provide at least some basic stuff to guests to make their own coffee & tea because the place is on extreme outskirts of the town and nothing can be bought or ordered from nearby. for everything we need to call and inform care taker & cook, who take inordinate time to get simple things. Otherwise they can inform the guests in advance to get their own things while coming. Also the food bill was not proper GST bill, though GST was charged at 12%, though Govt mandated GST is only 5%. Need to be transparent in such matters. Overall it was good but can be far better.

Jungle escape next to a waterfall

AndreasRating, 5 stars18 months ago
The house is in the middle of the jungle, the team at nilanatha was inmer friendly and helpful, we were provided with food all around. But the best part is the guided jungle tour with the Guidewater Falls, nature trail and great views . Just right for trekking lovers. In addition, there is the possibility of taking a day tour per tuktuk to the mini littles end.

Treehouse for Family next to Pidurangala &Sigiriya

SebastianRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Back of Beyond was a really great treehouse in the middle of the jungle. The sounds of flora and fauna at night as well as days were impressive. Even the monkey tried to search one of our backpacks will always be a fun anecdote. The staff is super friendly and extremely accommodating. The location of the treehouse is perfect, you can walk to the Piduranga rock in 5 minutes. For Sigiriya I would recommend a tuktuk. All in all it was a beautiful experience that I will recommend anytime.
Farm stay in Idukki Township

Tree house Nutmeg Valley

EvaRating, 5 stars30 months ago
I stayed in nutmeg valley for 1.5 wks. The food made by Ravi and his wife were mouth watering delicious & fresh picked papaya, passion fruit, bananas, coconut water, and fish. Good food, full of spices & rich flavor. There is a constant flow of water on property so ambiance was peaceful & serene. Nothing like sitting on a balcony listening to rushing water, hearing birds and watching the trees sway in the passing breeze in the morning with a cup tea. At night listen to all the creatures that come out at sunset while enjoying a cup of hot tea. Manu & Mathew was of great help when it was needed especially where to hike and getting around. Our driver Mr. Sarjin was one of the best drivers. Showed us scenic routes, explained areas & history. Excited to see him whenever we were going out. Appreciate his welcoming nature & engaging spirit. Other drivers hardly spoke or just nodded. Overall Nutmeg Valley is truly a treasure and gem of Idukki. Pleasant, warm & welcoming staff.
