Perfect stay! away from the usual chaos

We stayed for 8 nights here. Every day, we found something new to keep us involved. Kayaking, badminton, cycling, driving the scooty to ride the ferry, sitting on the beach for hours and watching the sunset. There are limited options for vegetarian food around but we found some good places. The host also suggested local places to visit, loaned us his personal scooty to ride around the town, and visited us to show us where everything is kept. It was hot, very hot, there but the place just calmed us down. You can walk on the grass barefoot or enjoy the swings or just watch the birds flying over the lake. The host is very helpful and makes you feel right at home.

Room is clean and neat with super silent air conditioner, wardrobe with locker and cloth hangers, bedside tables, dressing table, spongy bed with multiple pillows and extra bed in case required. Washroom is clean with hot water and other amenities. Kitchen equipped with all appliances and essential consumables, compact dining arrangement. Inverter & ironing facility also available. Near to Bakel fort and beaches. Thrikkannapuram Thriambakeswara temple. On the bank of Bakel river. Cultivated coconut, arecanut & other fruit plant. An upcoming farm is a good view. Complementary breakfast is served, lunch & dinner to be managed by the guests. Nearby restaurant contacts are made available at the villa. Hospitality is fantastic throughout the stay and reachable over phone at any time for any assistance.

okay!!! this place has a piece of our heart... an impromptu decision of going to Alibaug in between of a planned roadtrip led us to this beautiful place and it was so worthit.. from the moment we entered, it felt home and the credit goes to the caretakers... brilliant food, amazing chai, that smile, everything... all this resonated so well with how the place has been setup.. every corner has a certain attitude, which your cameras won't miss 🙂 there's a place for lazing around, intimate dinners, working from far, breakfast... and that gorgeous bathroom... highly recommend and try to stay for long term so that every corner of the house can be well experienced... 🏠

We had a stay for 3 nights and 4 days in this property and we had peaceful and happy stay. Dharman was very friendly and responsive. He helped us for early checkin as we reached early. Overall good experience

A memorable stay, we enjoyed every moment spent, walk in paddy fields, stroll and cycling by the river, the morning and evening boat rides. the best part was the complimentary boat pick and drop, my kids loved it. Venu Sir was there always ready to help, and guiding for the local activities, we would definitely like to visit agay

Upul's property is beautiful. The caretaker was very thorough with her job and made sure we were comfortable, She even arranged a local tuk tuk for a dinner visit to town. It's a bit further off from the main touristy centre, but if you are seeking a quiet, beautiful retreat, this is great, and proximity to the airport makes it a perfect 1st or last stop from Colombo.

We just wrapped up an unforgettable stay at this brand-new 3BHK villa—and it exceeded every expectation! Plush interiors, spacious ensuite bedrooms with verandahs, and a gleaming private pool (highly chlorinated—our feet got a free spa peel!). Sharvil was an exceptionally responsive and generous host, and Masud—our friendly caretaker—made the best poha in all of India, delighting our kids with his kindness. Booking taxis via GoaMiles was effortless, and Zomato drivers had no trouble finding us. This luxurious, serene escape is perfect for families or groups seeking comfort and convenience. We loved every moment and can’t wait to return!

Had a pleasant stay of 4 days at Travancore twinkle. Such a nice and helpfull host.the appartment and community are so clean and relaxing one. Looking forward to rebook the same place on our upcoming travel to kochi.

I had a wonderful stay here! The place was very comfortable and felt like a home away from home. As a single woman traveling alone, I felt completely safe throughout my stay. The host family, especially Vasu Chettan and Amma, treated me like one of their own. Their warmth and hospitality truly made my experience special. They were always just a call away and went out of their way to help me find places and navigate routes in Chennai. The home is well-maintained, clean, and comes with a proper kitchenette – perfect for anyone who prefers cooking their own meals. Also, the pictures on the listing are 100% accurate – what you see is exactly what you get. Would absolutely love to stay here again whenever I visit Chennai. Thank you so much!

My best Airbnb experience Firstly, I arrived from the airport just after midnight but the host very kindly organised a representative to meet me at entrance to help with my check in. It was quick and easy. After I get to my room, I just simply went wow! the views are breath taking and the apartment is so much bigger than I pictured from the listing. Everything was beyond my expectations. They had even fully stocked the fridge and pantry with groceries for me even milk, eggs and tea. Aromatic candles in the bathrooom were a lovely touch. Next day I went to the pool and gym to be simply amazed by the beautiful views of Colombo city scape overlooking the Lotus Tower. Lastly special mention to her husband for taking time to meet me at check out to store my luggage at their other apartment until my next reservation. The best airbnb listing and hosts I have had the pleasure of meeting.. highly recommended. I will be back and thank you for making my stay special ☺️🙏🏽

We had a lovely stay at Saksham place. Incredibly peaceful and private. Very smooth check in and Saksham accommodated us with an early check in. He was also quick to respond to any questions we had. The balcony was amazing to relax on in the mornings with a coffee. My partner loved the swing (I feel we may be purchasing one after this stay for our own balcony) We spent many mornings there watching all of the local wildlife. It’s nicely located where everything is a short drive away. All in all we would most certainly stay here again and are looking forward to returning later on in the year. Thankyou Saksham.

Our stay at Nitish's place was wonderful. The apartment was cozy, well-maintained, and equipped with all the necessary amenities for a truly comfortable stay. One of the highlights was its location—tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Thane, yet right in the heart of a posh neighborhood. Everything we needed was within walking distance, including great restaurants and bars. The society itself was serene and clean, offering peaceful walks and a sense of calm. Overall, it was a very pleasant and satisfying experience.

The place was amazing and the hosts were proactive enough to reply immediately for anything in need, making sure to make the process hassle-free.

Lovely place, all away from the hustle, gives you a tranquil and pleasant experience. Surrounded by only nature and it’s beautiful sounds, would definitely recommend. The host was very responsive and helped us in all ways. Special mention to the caretaker who made sure we had a good time.

We had an amazing stay at Scotty’s House! The property is clean, well-maintained and thoughtfully designed for guests traveling with pets. Our dog had a blast with plenty of space to run freely in the fully fenced garden. The lake is just a 5 min walk away and has some good spots for dogs to swim and play! Highly recommend this to pet parents looking for a getaway from the city to let their fur babies enjoy the outdoors!

The stay was amazing and the host and his wife was very helpful to us , it was super clean view was pretty amazing you can just spent hours while sitting at the corner . The barbecue grill adds a spark to your late evening celebration. It’s little away from the main city but it’s very safe! If you need any help hosts are available 24*7 . Don’t rethink book it 🌼

Siddesh, his team and Clemente are amazing people! Everything I read about the property is 100% true. The food is amazing. The stay is at an untouched location. They were generous to set up a candle night dinner at the beach. We are extremely happy and would recommend it to everyone!

Now, where do I start from. The place is everything as described and lot more...It is easy to lose yourself in the midst of nature...and equally easy to find yourself in this beautiful coffee estate with lush greenery all around. The folks you interact with are even better. Kushi is not a Superhost for nothing...she is omnipresent..you have a request, she is available and in almost all occasions it will be granted...she has a knack of pleasantly surprising you..Ali took really good care of us, was always there for us and served us with delicious food... We had a great time along with our furry baby..she turned into an explorer in the vast open spaces ....An absolute visit..and revisit. It simply rejuvenating !!

Property was great. A place that is so beautiful and beyond your expectations in the overall setup and unexpected natural beauty, yet so close to Pune. Great caretakers and awesome home cooked food. The best place you can spend with your close ones or family in the garb of the beautiful nature that is so well maintained by the host, that you'll forget all your worries and have the most peaceful time of your lives.

I’ve stayed at many Airbnb’s and this may be my favorite. It’s serene, right in nature, yet extremely comfortable. They get me anything I need, food, water, etc. The bed is comfy, the middle glass room is my favorite, to write and meditate and stare at the eagles. The kitchen has everything you need. This place is perfect if you want an escape. If you want time to just be with yourself and loved ones. I feel really blessed to have found this space. It’s exactly what I needed for this point in my life. 5 stars across the board. I hope you get to experience the magic of this Airbnb.

Stayed between 15-18th of April 2025. This is the second time I visited this property. Absolutely a gem of place to relax and unwind. The location is full of nature only the sound of the birds can be heard. The views are stunning with a beautiful lake in front and a large paddy field. An unspoilt village to show children how the rural village life goes about. There are plenty of bicycle for the guests to use FoC and Can take a bicycle ride across the village and on the bundt of the lakes in and around and enjoy the picturesque views of the lakes and the Galkiriyagama rock that spans for 7kms. During the night only the sound of nature you can hear. In the evening a dip in the lake with the villages is not to be missed. The property is very clearly kept. The food is absolutely tasty and made in a kitchen cleanly kept. Ideal place to enjoy traditional Sri Lankan Rice and Curry and other Sri Lankan food. A place definitely you want to revisit over and over again. Great value for money.
