Highly highly recommend this place. The manager, chef and grounds men are at your disposal and strive to make your experience pleasurable. This included taking a 4 am canoe ride into backwaters that neither a house boat or car can access. It's truly a wonderful experience to stay at Vinis farm.

Munroe Eco Camp - Camping Tent for Group

It was an wonderful experience to stay in this island, I was the only guest stayed on the entire island on the day I visited this place along with manager and boat driver. I spent wonderful time and does not have any safety issues with this place. If you are looking for some different experience please visit this place.

We had a wonderful stay at this place- Koovalapoo Island Villa ! The location is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by water, making it a peaceful and scenic retreat. The place was exactly as described in the listing—neat, clean, and well-maintained. A special thanks to Mr. Prasad, the caretaker, who made our experience even better by assisting with check-in and ensuring we got our meals on time. His hospitality was truly commendable. Overall, a great stay, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

Vini’s Farm is a 2-acre island with uninterrupted views of the Ashtamudi Lake on one side and the Kallada River on the other. It is about 10 mins. by boat from the main land. Vini’s FARM Island having one wood house on a stilt .You will have a private chef ,Housekeeper to take care of yourself .Ideally for Couple or 2adults,extra bed can be arranged and will be charged,Suprise your loved ones with an Island Experience !!! Our place is set on a beautiful, small farm island, which was actually reclaimed from the backwaters (Vembanad lake near Kumarakom) by the family. The farm is about 35 acres and is the largest farm on the island. The island is a reclaimed property which was built in the early 1950’s by my husband’s grandfather. The island is called Puthankayal (‘Puthan’ means new) as it was the last island to have been reclaimed in the backwater region for agriculture.
