Tiny house vacation rentals in South India

It was a great experience to stay in a tree house. It was my first time and I am not gonna get over this beautiful feeling of staying here anytime soon. There is calm river flowing right in front of the tree house. There is a beautiful farm where you can take a stroll and explore the various vegetation the family is taking care of. Mahima helped me set up a beautiful candle light dinner which definitely helped me to have one of the most beautiful experiences so far. Highly recommended. Please go and enjoy the hospitality.

We had a great stay at the tree house. It was a great find for us - the property maintains a lush green environment. - the glass open views from the house was magical. Waking up to squirrels running and birds singing. - there is a nice private campfire set up. - especially the home cooked food and caretakers were amazing. Definitely don't miss the stay.

Had a great stay at Maadathil Cottages. This property is tucked away in a beautiful part of Varkala away from the hustle and bustle but still with easy access to everything. The cottage was spacious and clean with hot water and a great AC. The view of the sea is simply amazing and it’s just steps away from a sort of private enclosed part of the beach. The food was good and the staffs are very friendly and helpful. The host is very friendly and responsive too. Would definitely stay here again and totally recommend this place. Thank you Mujahir!

This is a lovely spot off the beaten track but well worth the effort. For you kite surfers….its a super place to learn in the lagoon with an easy option (50m) for more advanced to kite in the beautiful open sea. The vibe is chill and yet everyone seemed to progress quickly. Lovely home cooked evening meals.

If you're a nature lover then this place is perfect! Our stay was everything that we thought it would be - we walked around the jungle and spent a lot of time in the water stream! Some things to know before you visit: 1. Important to carry an insect repellant since it's in the middle of a forest 2. It's a 20 min drive from Peravoor, most resturants are located here. Since the cabin is quite remote, you would need to visit Peravoor for meals. Plan accordingly! 3. MOST IMPORTANT - The water stream is a one of a kind experience, do not miss spending time in it :)

Skandavan is a jewel for who seeks tranquility , peace and beauty . Much loving attention to details and in perfect harmony with the well kept garden . A place to easy get into a meditative mood . And yet by bicycle , motorbike or TukTuk it’s very easy to explore all what Auroville has to offer . The garden is spacious enough to have privacy also when other guests are there . The shared kitchen is another plus . The staff is very friendly and discreet and keeping the place well clean . Rekha and Michael are great hosts . I’ve been very happy there and I am looking forward to visiting again .

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was exactly as described — clean, cozy, and surrounded by the calm beauty of nature. Nestled in the middle of a lush coffee plantation, it offered the perfect blend of comfort and serenity. The hosts were warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive — making sure every detail was taken care of. One of the highlights of the stay was getting to try their organic honey (they keep their own bees on the property!) and the freshly brewed estate coffee — both are an absolute must-try! Waking up to the sounds of birds and the smell of coffee in the air was such a unique experience. This place is a hidden gem, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. Would definitely love to return!

Would definitely recommend this tiny house! Amazing location and great hosts! The instructions provided were spot on. The description of the place matched! There are lots of birds around the property. Truly perfect for forest bathing. What’s amazing is we saw a fireflies show in the evening, in the monsoon season. Will definitely be visiting again!

Best places for a small family 3-4 members - good WiFi and Airtel network - far from crowd but safe and well secured - caretaker was available in the property, so any requests were handled immediately - pool was clean - property had a power backup Overall a great stay and little better that what is described by the host as the room is large enough and the surroundings are great Swiggy delivery was available Would love to stay here on the next revisit

It was a beautiful staycation. Exactly a break I needed from the city hustle. Thanks to Host for having us comfortable and food was great. Strongly recommended!

Customisation request is also accepted. 5/5 for the Staff - Shakti and Dashrat. Always responsive. Always dedicatedly available for the home stay service. 5/5 for Location - easy to get stuffs you required as it is just next to the city. One can travel with car, Alibaug bus depo is also nearby Close to the beach....walkable distance from the property Sunset view from the pool is aussum. Good resturants nearby Last but not the least 5/5 for privacy.

We were a family of four and felt like we were visiting a dear friend. Karthik is a warm, heartfelt host, and his home set amidst serene coffee plantations and birdsong was pure bliss. From sound bath healing session and learning the didgeridoo to enjoying authentic home made Malnad cuisine, it was a truly enriching escape. We had a fantastic time, were offered great hospitality like a family, of course I made a new friend, and can’t wait to return! Highly recommend

Excellent place to stay with awesome surroundings. Foggy morning, lots of greeneries and colourful flowers around the place make the place completely peaceful. Caretaker Ganpath is very well behaved and nice person. He provides excellent food. Although the number of items are limited but the taste of the food is very good. Only suggestion - It would be great if Ganpath can be always available on Internet call as there is no network at the place to make normal calls.

We were initially skeptical about how secluded and serene this container home would be as it is so close to Bangalore city. But all we have to say about this place is positive. Right from the location to the hospitality, everything provided by the host is excellent. The service staff Pushpa was very polite and helpful. Everything is so meticulously planned and arranged to make the guests feel just like home, maybe even better! How they have managed to utilise the space and provide more than necessary things to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable is really appreciable! One would have to be really be nitpicky to criticise this place. They have placed a calling bell at the gate for privacy and security. They have also provided a washing machine with a drying area if you’re planning on extending your stay. The lawn was also maintained well and our doggo had a really fun time running around! Overall we had a very pleasant stay!

Beautiful place but A.C is required. it got too hot inside the house. some arrangement for drinking water needs to be made.

Place is good but can't exactly be called as Glamping as it is more within the compound of a house overlooking coffee estate. I suggest hosts provide at least some basic stuff to guests to make their own coffee & tea because the place is on extreme outskirts of the town and nothing can be bought or ordered from nearby. for everything we need to call and inform care taker & cook,who take inordinate time to get simple things. Otherwise they can inform the guests in advance to get their own things while coming. Also the food bill was not proper GST bill, though GST was charged at 12%, though Govt mandated GST is only 5%. Need to be transparent in such matters. Overall it was good but can be far better.

Beautiful property located mid of the nature. Very good for long stay with quite environment 🙂. Beautiful Beach is 5min away. If you love to explore unknown places. Come and stay here. Host (Minusha) will suggest wonderful places around it.
