Beach house vacation rentals in South Africa

Die Unterkunft ist wundervoll eingerichtet, hat einen unverbauten Blick aufs Meer und liegt direkt am Strand. Man hat seine Ruhe, ist aber auch nicht fern ab vom Schuss. Wundervoll!

We were very impressed by the house. Even more beautiful than in the pictures. We were very impressed and will definitely be back and recommend it to friends and family.

We loved our stay here while we were visiting Cape Town. It has an amazing view of the ocean and a wonderful outdoor space to enjoy it. The house was extremely clean and well-stocked for our stay, and Naomi was very kind and attentive. There is plenty of space for anywhere from a couple to a large family to stay. We will definitely book this Airbnb again on our next trip to Cape Town!

We had a lovely and comfortable stay. We were two families of four with young kids. Couldn’t have asked for a better location with the beach on your doorstep and we felt right at home. The house was wonderfully equipped and has everything you need to make your stay as easy as possible and wonderfully clean. We would happily go back and would recommend.

Our stay of five days in the beach house was too short! It was such a great experience to stay at the beach and have the most beautiful views and walks!. The house was very well equipped and although staying at the house in early autumn we even had a day or two to chill at the pool and enjoy shrimps and steaks on the braai. At some point there was a power interruption and Clifford immediately came to action and solved the problem. I would highly recommend the house butat the same time this hidden gem should be kept a secret 😊

My friends and I really enjoyed our weekend stay, the house was absolutely beautiful, even more so than the pictures. Abigail and Rachael were both incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. It was a lovely experience, and we’d love to return in the summer.

La maison de Justin est absolument magnifique. Décorée avec beaucoup de goût, bien équipée, avec cette vue imprenable sur l’océan on se croirait presque dans un vieux bateau avec tout le confort moderne. Le sauna avec vue sur la mer est magique. Le jardin sur plusieurs niveaux est incroyable. Et Justin a été disponible chaque fois que nous avons eu une question. Un seul regret : ne pas avoir pu rester plus longtemps.

We had a great stay at Julies House. The house is gorgeous with lots to do. The kids (and adults) were kept busy with the pool table, table tennis , pool and play stations. We arrived to no electricity in Ballito - Julie was great with comunicating what the problems were and keeping us updated with the solar power battery percentage. She even went out of her way to bring us back up lights and charging devices. The complex is very pretty - very forest like. Getting in and out wasnt too bad. Karen was great with sending all relevant access codes before arrival. The complex is right across the road from shops and about a 2 min drive to the main Salt Rock beach. We'd love to visit Julies house again!

The Forest house within a super secure estate in Salt Rock is an oasis of tranquility. We stayed 9 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the large spacious home on the edge of the forest. We had so many spaces to enjoy, our favourite being the long verandah indoor/ outdoor space. We felt sheltered and so close to nature. The house had everything we wanted including a fully fitted kitchen with amazing oven and cooker. We popped over the road to the new salt rock centre where we bought groceries and cooked most meals at the house, including a BBQ/ Braai. We were very well taken care of by the house helper who came to clean every other day. It was great to have someone who knows the house well to answer any questions. One of my favourite features of the home are the downstairs rooms which all have fully retractable glass doors to open the house to the outside. Stunning!

We enjoyed our stay. The house ticks all the boxes. We highly recommend this house. Tracy was a wonderful host and very responsive. We look forward to returning soon again.

This was my second visit and it was as great as the first. Birgit and Eugene (and Henry) are warm, responsive, and genuinely care about creating a peaceful, comfortable experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt right at home. The apartment is spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and filled with thoughtful touches. The garden setting is just as beautiful and calming as I remembered. As a woman travelling solo, one of the things I love the most is the location: a peaceful and safe neighbourhood that’s close enough to shops, cafés, and essentials to be super convenient, but still quiet enough to feel like a proper retreat. It’s clear a lot of love goes into this space and I’ll absolutely be back (again). Five stars, always!

We had a fantastic stay in Fish Hoek! The house was absolutely stunning — spotless, beautifully maintained, and perfectly located. The views were breathtaking, and the area was peaceful yet close to everything we needed. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. Highly recommended! This was our first visit to South Africa and Birgit and Eugene made it extremely easy for us particularly during our first few days when we were pretty clueless. But not just that - they continued with welcome and helpful suggestions throughout our time here. The well equipped apartment itself is spotlessly clean set in a really nice garden with a swimming pool and sun loungers. It’s an easy ten minute walk to the seafront where there are a selection of good restaurants offering menus to suit everyone’s taste. The area itself feels very safe and we had no problem walking back at night in the dark. All in all I have no hesitation in recommending Birgit’s apartments.

What a beautiful location! This was a last minute getaway for hubby and I, but I wish we spent more than one night. Such a great location with stunning views of the mountains, ocean, eagles and even Springboks at sunset! Will definitely be back!

The hosts were absolutely amazing. They treated us like part of their family. Allowing us to really enjoy every part of their lovely home. The property manager welcomed us very well and ensured that we had everything we needed. And the house itself, oh it was amazing. Exactly like the pictures. Check in was seamless, beautiful home with an amazing view of the table mountain, beautiful and spacious bedrooms. Loved the area, safe neighborhood with CCTV camera, air conditioned, all basic electronic appliances were provided. Very responsive and friendly hosts. We enjoyed our stay, felt right at home.

Best weekend away I have had in SA to date. The pictures don’t do justice to the actual place. It’s even better in person. It’s extremely neat, clean, modern and comfortable. Everything is quality from the towels to the linen and pillows. Everything you need is there if you want to cook a meal or have a braai. The place is in pristine condition. Has amazing views of the ocean from the bedroom, entertainment area and lounge area. The place is also very private. The owner Rudi is very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be back numerous time. Thank you for an amazing weekend. Couldn’t ask for a better getaway.

Fantastic home. A little hard to get in the first time but only because the location takes security seriously. Everything was clean and new. Everything was set to make the stay comfortable. Location fantastic. Highly recommend.

The place is actually even better in reality than in the photos. They clearly have great taste everything was beautifully selected and very clean. We weren’t too lucky with the weather but it was as a beautiful stay we enjoyed very much and would definitely come back to.

Gail is a fantastic host and she made us feel right at home. The knives were sharp (where do you get that in rentals!) and the decor lived up to the view of the lagoon. We were very impressed and totally understand why some guests are regulars!!

The Aloes is an awesome place to stay. If it is a relaxing holiday you are looking for you will not be disappointed. Charmaine is an awesome host. Very helpful and always willing to assist.
