Bushmanspoort (Cederberg) Bergwagter Caravan

RosieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I had a wonderful stay in the caravan - the location is awesome and serene, surrounded by Cederberg rocks. Manus was very friendly and helpful, and ensured I had everything I needed. The caravan is comfortable, the kitchen well equipped - no fridge however a coolbox with multiple ice bricks. The bathroom is a delight, built around the rocks. I definitely recommend, and will return.

The vintage decor made it cozy and nostalgic, while being impeccably clean and comfortable. Best of all, it was pet-friendly, allowing our dogs to enjoy the adventure too! Evenings spent stargazing around the campfire were unforgettable, and the serene surroundings provided a peaceful escape from daily life. Our hosts were incredibly welcoming, offering great local tips and ensuring we had everything we needed. This was a unique and relaxing getaway for both us and our furry friends. We can't wait to return! Highly recommended!

Awesome and unique stay. A great option if you have a dog. The drive in through the forest is beautiful and John is very warm and welcoming. I dropped in one night on my way up to PE to visit family and then stayed three nights on my way back. Great value for money.

Great value for money. Beautiful tent with an amazing bathroom. Outside shower was fantastic. One thing to note is that tent 9 and tent 10 are in an area with a pool with no net so parents with young children might want to choose the other tents if their children aren't water safe. A great stay.

Private camping in Ceres!

EmmaRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Lovely private campsite. Lots of grass and shade. The river is mostly quite shallow but it was lovely to swim in and the kids and dogs played in it for hours. Fridge and hot water worked well with no issues. Just worth noting that there isn’t a braai grid so you do need to take your own, and there is a sandy dip in the road through the orchard that a regular car might not get through (we were in 4X4). Would recommend to others and we would love to go back again. Thanks Candice!

Flat Peak Cozy Farmstay - Bosbok Tented Camp

ItumelengRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Our little family have an awesome time . We stayed for two nights and it was lovely. From the booking to the communication everything was excellent. This family owned place is well managed , run with kindness and grace. We operated the boiler Donkie for the first time and had warm water for showering. It is clean and well taken care off. Great Wi-Fi and all cooking tools were provided. We went for morning walks with the kids and had amazing time. They have a cactus tree a beautiful and rare find. If you looking for a great Glamping experience with the family away from the big city- 2 hours away from Johannesburg. I highly recommend it. We will be coming back soon. Thank you for a great place.

Probably the best stay I have had on airbnb. Absolutely lovely venue with incredible hosts. The views are breath taking and the game on the farm are plentiful. Cheerful and helpful host who is extremely knowledgeable when asking questions on the game drives. If you want some time to get away with a few friends or family, this is surely a top choice. A great 'bush' vibe and tranquil. Thanks for hosting us!

Unique very special place, quiet and spacious which is just what we were looking for. Location just a few minutes drive to Robberg and everything you need. Love the accomodation, spotlessly clean and the outdoor shower is amazing. Fire pit and braai area ideal and a perfect spot to end the day and watch the sunset. Lovely hosts who give you privacy but always available should you have any questions, not that we had any as everything was super easy and seamless. Thank you for everything and will be back!

The Cosy Caravan at Kiva Moya

The Caravan at Kiva Moya is a wonderful place to stay that gave me a real chance to recharge. The set up is basic, but very comfortable and fun, and everything you need is there in ample supply. Cláudia is an incredibly generous host, and the property is magical and wild. It's a great bush getaway close to the city. My experience was also really private, which was lovely.

This was a memorable experience! The predator park has beautiful animals that give you a thrilling stay. The roar of lions nearby gives you a feeling that a video camera cannot encapsulate! The home itself was pristine with beautifully designed interior and was well-equipped for all our needs! I would highly recommend visiting this tiny home for a unique experience. We enjoyed ourselves and had to extend our trip by an extra night just so that we could experience it one more time! All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and we were never in lack! Thank you for creating this experience, Veranda!

A short distance from CT to the most peaceful hidden gem tucked away among the Western Cape's most beautiful fynbos. What a great break from the busyness of the city, and technology! Not once did I feel the urge to scroll through mindless social media apps! instead, we cooked meals together, played board games, read books, soaked in the hot tub and at night, gazed at the star-filled sky sitting around a bonfire.

Onrus Beach Camping : Under the Milkwood.

CarolRating, 5 stars65 months ago
What a gem - a really special night away. You get to the spot by boat- how special is that? Andy is so warm and friendly and bursting with local knowledge from Onrus to Hermanus. We had a double bed in our tent with fulll linen and towels and a hot shower. We had our own private beach overlooking the lagoon- the sea is just 5 minutes away. There is a communal barbeque and all implements are provided. We cannot recommend Andy and his glamping under the milkwoods enough. We cannot wait to return.
