Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Sottomarina

Such a lovely house on the beautiful Island of Burano. The house is really comfortable on a nice little square in the town. So many great restaurants nearby. The daily boat trip we did to Venice was a nice start of the day. Burano is much more relaxed as Venice so for us this was a perfect spot. Antonella is a great host with a lot of useful tip. Highly recommended!

Flot, hyggeligt og charmerende sted. Man føler sig hjemme. Væreterne er klar til at hjælpe. Hundende er meget rolige. De kommer ikke hen til dig, medmindre du gerne vil. De kommer ikke ind i huset. Hvis du er bange for hund, ville de holde afstand; hvis du elsker at lege med hund, ville de være venner med dig.

Beautiful view and right next to Farragona water/boat taxi. The hostess was wonderful- flexible with our check-in/out. Easy to communicate. The apartment is spacious and clean. We always felt safe. It is a more quiet area and that was just what I was hoping - peaceful and relaxing.

Wir waren 5 Nächte bei Roberto und hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub. Das Haus liegt perfekt in der Altstadt, alles ist zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Kinder haben das große Hochbett geliebt, alles war total sauber und liebevoll vorbereitet. Roberto hat uns einen flexiblen Check-in ermöglicht, sofort auf alle Fragen reagiert und uns sogar bis zum Parkplatz eskortiert. Er hatte auch super Tipps für uns. Herzlichen Dank für alles, wir können Roberto nur wärmstens empfehlen!

The apartment was super clean. Well decorated and every detail thought out. The private garden around made it very peaceful and comfortable. The view to the ocean was so nice. This place was even more than we could expect. Location is perfect. We loved the Murano Island, sunny and empty streets in the evenings.

Great time in Venice staying at this perfect location! Very quiet area with plenty of food options, close to all forms of transportation, and within walking distance to everything. The host was very receptive and quick responding back to any questions we had. Charming stay!

This was the absolute best location and host! He was responsive, quick to help when we had questions about the beach club and provided great suggestions! He arranged for us to get dropped off directly from the train station to the back door— no lugging luggage around! We would absolutely recommend this host and location. Should we get the opportunity to visit a location where this host has accommodation, he will be our first choice!

L'appartamento è nel pieno centro di Chioggia, tra le calli, in una zona molto tranquilla e silenziosa. E' piccolino e molto carino, accogliente e pulito. La cucina è comoda e ben fornita, il bagno pulito. C'è una stanza con letto matrimoniale e nel soggiorno un divano letto matrimoniale. Luogo perfetto per visitare la città e i dintorni.

Alloggio é molto bello , pulitissimo e super curato . É in una posizione molto comoda e tranquilla , vicina sia al centro per una passeggiata o ristoranti sia a supermercati per restare nell’ alloggio ! Elisa é stata molto disponibile e chiara su come fare check-in e check out! Da rifare assolutamente!

Our stay at Apartment Moreno was very pleasant. The apartment is in a great location – in a quiet part of Chioggia, yet close to everything: the old town, shops, restaurants, and the beach. The place is very clean and well-equipped. The host was extremely kind and helpful. We would gladly come back!

Die Lage ist genial, authentisch am Kanal, in der historischen Altstadt, nahe zum Fischmarkt und den Cafés und Restaurants. Zum Entladen konnten wir bis zum Haus fahren, es gab Fahrrad Abstellplätze im Haus! Alles top, der Gasherd, die moderne Warmwasser Therme, das W-LAN, rundum wunderbar! 🙂

È andato tutto molto bene. L’appartamento corrispondeva alla descrizione ed era in posizione strategica. Consiglio fortemente questo host.

Värden svarade snabbt på frågor som vi hade om transport etc. Olyckan var tyvärr framme under vår resa och vi behövde besöka sjukhus. Värden gav oss råd om sjukhus, hur man tar sig dit och var genuint omtänksam. Tack för lånet av er lägenhet, vi hade toppen dagar på beachen i Sottomarina, strosade i Chioggia och upplevde Venedig. Tips, om ni är flera dagar i Sottomarina så rekommenderas att ni som gästa hyr cykel för att enkelt ta er fram i området.

Our stay with Illaria was wonderful. Seaside apartments often feel a bit worn, but that was absolutely not the case here. The entire flat was new, spotlessly clean, and perfectly suitable for our family of four with small children. I’d especially highlight the well-equipped kitchen, which is not always a given in holiday rentals. Illaria was very kind and communicative – either she or her mother was always available to help. Her mother even prepared a small gift for our children when we were leaving, which was a lovely gesture. The location of the apartment was also ideal for us – there was a supermarket and a park with a playground on the way to the beach. We rented a beach hut from Illaria as well, so we had sunbeds, umbrellas, and a place to store our things while at the sea. I can wholeheartedly recommend staying with Illaria – 100%.

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist ideal zum Kennenlernen von Chioggia und seiner Umgebung, wozu auch Bademöglichkeiten oder Bootsausflüge nach Lido oder Florenz gehören. Die authentische Wohnlage in einer typischen kleinen Wohnstraße, nahe am Fischmarkt und den schönen, kanaldurchzogenen Stadtteilen vermitteln einen intensiven Eindruck vom echten Charakter des Ortes und lassen den Aufenthalt erleben wie in einer vortouristischen Zeit. Dazu passt nach meinem Geschmack auch die besondere Einrichtung der Unterkunft mit einer spezielle Ästhetik, die verschiedene Stile zusammenbringt und von der Bettwäsche über eine anspruchsvolle Möblierung bis zum Balkontisch gleichermaßen spielerisch und ausgesucht wirkt.

Andrea is a great host, since the first day in his apartment gave us plenty of recommendations about everything, restaurants, pubs, public transport, his attention is very nice as well as his accommodation with all thee facilities. Thanks!

I would give this place a 6 out of 5 if I could! This place is the best we stayed in during our Italy visit. It has a stunning canal overview and is located in a more peaceful and less crowded part of Venice, but still offers access to the touristy areas. The interior is amazing: very comfortable with all amenities. The hosts, Nicolo and Anna, had kindly prepared a variety of snacks and drinks upon our arrival. At some point they went out of their way to travel from out of town to give us a spare key when we were locked out. I'd love to come back to the same place whenever I visit Venice in the future.

Ruim appartement in de wijk buiten de oude stad. Er is een uitstekende bus verbinding (halte 200 meter lopen, contactloos betalen, max 20 minuten) Het grootste pluspunt voor ons is privé parkeerplaats voor de deur. We hebben Elio niet persoonlijk ontmoet maar via de app was hij zeer vriendelijk en informeerde tijdens ons verblijf hoe het met ons ging. Appartement is schoon en leuk ingericht. Op loopafstand zitten meerdere restaurants. Voor ons was het de perfecte plek om te verblijven in Venetië.

We had a great few days at this AirBnB! It is quiet and private, but just a 3-4min walk from the busy streets. Paolo is a phenomenal host! He recommended local activities, eateries, and was very communicative and helpful from start to finish. I would happily stay here again on my next visit to Venice!

We booked because another guest's review said "just go for it" and I would offer the same advice to others. We had a great time enjoying coffee & wine on the terrace while watching boat traffic on the Grand Canal. Although there are Vaporetto stops nearby, we walked almost everywhere we went and it was great to explore the neighborhood. For a quiet night in, stop by Fried Land (just around the corner) for excellent take-out pasta.
