Vacation rentals with beach access in Sottomarina

Sara and Matteo were excellent hosts and I would definitely recommend their place for those wanting to base themselves on Lido. I stayed here for a week and enjoyed the relaxed old school vibe that Lido offers. Sara and Matteo were always quick and clear in their communications before and during my stay. The electronic check-in process was hassle-free and I really appreciated being able to store my luggage immediately before and after my stay. For me, the location of the apartment was perfect - on the main boulevard, close to both the vaporetto stop on the one hand and the beachside running trail on the other. The apartment was clean, spacious and had plenty of natural light. The bed was huge and incredibly comfortable, and the modern kitchen was equipped with everything I needed to prepare meals each morning. Admiring the view of the nearby trees from the kitchen table was an added bonus! I would definitely seek out Sara and Matteo’s place again.

We had a brilliant stay in this flat. Marta was a great host. Excellent communication and very helpful. The flat was in a good location for us. A bit quieter but only a short walk or Vaporetto away from busier areas. Would highly recommend.

Would highly recommend and would stay again. Location was conveniently located to transit and tourist areas, yet was in a quiet neighbourhood so great for resting & sleeping. Place was comfortable and well-equipped. Leo was super responsive and helpful. Even told us in advance about the special access fee days and how to get the appropriate exemption. Plus provided a great guide with tips.

Central and clean space, easy of access and communicative host.

The pictures do not do this place justice. Out one set of windows you can watch the bells toll at St Mark's. And out the other side of the apartment is a lovely terrace where you can watch boats and people in the canal. They provided us with an entire book of recommendations for restaurants in all the districts, local markets, points of interest, etc. It was a truly wonderful stay for myself, husband an our two teenage boys.

Amazing host and she is so so helpful. Would recommend her to anyone.

if you are coming to Venice, this is a must day. This was our first trip to Venice, but we quickly learn that we had stayed on the street where the locals hang out. This is off the tourist section with many food options on the same street, our favorite was Tintoretto. It is a 15 minute walking tour from the train station.. I cannot say enough nice things.

We spent 5 nights ar Vittorio's place and were very satisfied. Spacious house with big garden. As we travel by car and with two large dogs, the space outside the house was perfect for us. The garden is fully fenced and private. Large terrace with a roof. Just take some mosquito spray - as the island has water all around, they are vicious there - in case you feel like sitting on terrace in the evening or take a stroll around the island.

Host was very flexible with the check in and check out times, friendly. Lived up to expectations it was a pleasant peaceful stay. Close to the beach which was never crowded, a great place to stay.

It's a charming little house. Very nicely located. A bakery is right next door. In 15 minutes, you can walk to Chioggia. Almost at the front door you can take "Raffaelo" to Venice by boat or bus directly there. Cristian provided us with the following free of charge: cola, coffee, pasta, oil, packaged croissants, cookies, 1x tomato sauce, wine, towels, toilet paper, towels and a few more small things. There are 2 TVs with Netflix and Prime. Unfortunately, the Internet is not that good, but that was also the only "negative." Cristian was always easily accessible. Unfortunately, my kids damaged something, but Cristian was neither angry nor did he want money. I hope he was as happy with us as we were with him. We felt very comfortable and thank you again for the parking and the possibility to check out only in the evening instead of in the morning. The location is really great there. You have your peace, but it is very central.

We loved the aesthetic and location of Michele’s family summer house on Lido. It’s a proper 1960s gem. Well equipped and clean. Michele was super helpful. Was nice to be a little bit away from the craziness of Venice in a chilled neighbourhood.

The place is perfect! Getting to Venice is very simple from the apartment. It's spacious and comfortable. Elena left us very clear instructions for how all the appliances work. The view from the terrace is beautiful! We would recommend this listing.

When our original flat was cancelled at the last minute we were so relieved that Nena and Elena were able to give us a later check-in and accommodate us. They were both in touch on our day of arrival and we felt very reassured - great hosts. The house was lovely, lots of space, very quiet at night and we slept so well. Thank you

I cannot recommend Maria enough. Her and her husband’s hospitality was unmatched. From arranging all water taxis, to meeting upon arrival and escorting to the rental, to the detailed materials provided on safe and easy travel throughout the city with all the must sees and local favorites, they provided exceptional care for us to enjoy our stay and ensure we had the best experience possible. Highly recommended for anyone traveling to Venice.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home, which is located in what feels like a surreal spot in Venice. The apartment was spotless and perfectly clean, and we were especially grateful for the host’s flexibility with our check-in time. Communication was always smooth and quick, and we felt very well taken care of throughout our stay. As two architects visiting Venice for the Biennale, we found the location ideal — close to both Arsenale and Giardini. I would absolutely love to stay here again on my next visit to Venice, if it’s available.

My stay at the accommodation provided by Jean Pierre was a real highlight from start to finish. The apartment is located in the middle of the historic old town of Chioggia, also known as the "Little Venice". As soon as I entered the apartment, I noticed the cleanliness and the loving, harmonious design – everything was hygienically perfect and tastefully furnished. The design perfectly rounded off the vacation and ensured a cozy atmosphere. The surrounding area offers numerous restaurants, bars and small shops, so there is something for every taste. Especially in the evening hours, Chioggia unfolds its very special, romantic charm – a real experience! The contact with Jean Pierre was always straightforward and warm. He was always at my side with quick and detailed answers via cell phone and gave me many valuable tips for my stay. His support was really exclusive.

Watersdoor is the perfect romantic hideaway in this beautiful city. Maria and her team could not have been more welcoming and helpful and truly made our stay in Venice so effortless and memorable. We can’t recommend Watersdoor highly enough

We had a great stay in the apartment, the location is perfect for getting to the beach quickly, as well as various shopping and restaurants and bars are nearby. Everything was clean and well maintained, all rooms are air-conditioned, which is wonderful in the summer months. The balcony with elevated seating was brilliant, which invites you to watch the nightlife with a good glass of Prosecco or beer. Overall, we had a great vacation in the apartment.

Great apartment, very nice surroundings. Guarded parking available for little surcharge. Stairs can be challenging for older people, but the terrace is amazing.

A true gem! The balcony really adds a unique dimension; to be able and watch every day life in Venice was so interesting. The apartment is in easy walk of great cafes and restaurants and handy for The Vaporetto and water taxis. We travelled with my 89 year old mother and were very grateful for the flexible check in after our early flight. We ate out each meal, so easy with so many great places in easy walking distance. Amongst our favourite, for breakfast was San Giovanni Vini e Cicchetti for fabulous chichetti !

Amazing balcony apartment in Venice, it is our first time to visit Italy and it makes an unforgettable memory here. You can sit on the wood deck to enjoy the sun, and having beer at evening time. It is easy to access to different location by walking and enjoy the view in Venice.

Couldn’t ask for more really. The apartment is stylish old school with big windows, beautiful private courtyard, 1 min from a vaporetto stop and 2 stops from Piazza San Marco. I liked the beautiful view from across the big canal and the fact I had to use boat transport which made for a very lovely experience. The kitchen was super well equipped even had coffee, tees, pasta, olive oil etc. Federico is super proactive communicator - I haven’t had such detailed instructions and tips ever from a host. Even met his mum Angela who gave us the keys :)
