I stayed here for several weeks for a placement at the hospital and the apartment had everything I needed. The location was perfect for both the hospital and train station.

Great little spot. Gavin and his family are incredibly hospitable, and even came out of their way to come say hello to my little girl and pooch. Space is perfect and has everything you need.

Only stayed 2 nights but enjoyed our stay. We used the pool which was lovely. The local pub was nice and the food was great. The accommodation was very comfortable and had everything we needed.

We had a wonderful stay. The place was clean and well-equipped, and felt like home. The check-in was smooth, and John was very responsive. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore the area. Highly recommend, and I’d definitely stay again!

What a beautiful, peaceful and wonderful stay we had. There were 3 generations and 2 dogs on our family trip and everyone adored their stay at jules house. The garden is just idyllic and has everything you could need- the swimming pond, a hot tub, chickens, veg patch and more! We did a lot less than we had planned because we just enjoyed the house so much. As it is a family home it was so well equipped and had everything you could possibly need! Their belongings are around which we didn’t mind at all but maybe something of note if that’s a problem for you. Jules has put together the most helpful instructions about how to use everything in the house and she was super responsive if we had any questions or needed extra recommendations. A car is essential for this location as it is quite remote but a 20/30 min drive gets you to lots of lovely locations including Bruton, somerton, Glastonbury etc. we particularly loved the Hauser and wirth gallery. We booked this listing to celebrate my sister’s successes as she leaves for a job abroad. This was the perfect place to host this. Everyone enjoyed the gorgeous home and beautiful scenery it came with. Matt was quick to respond to any questions I had. He was welcoming and polite. We were lucky enough to have beautiful weather, which allowed us to use the BBQ and sit outside with the provided outdoor furniture. In the mornings most sat outside their cabins and spoke to one another which was beautiful too. Overall, this was a beautiful and wholesome place to be with friends and family. I will be back when we have more celebrations to celebrate. Thankyou for sharing your place Matt.

Wonderful stay at Stephanie’s. House is well designed, spotless and with everything you need inside and on the doorstep. Lovely pubs, antique shops, markets and the beach close by. Great weekend retreat.

Super, spacious home in a beautiful, quiet part of Somerset, yet with close (driving) access to amenities and the stunning cathedral/palace of nearby Wells. The kitchen is fully stocked with implements, the house is kept cosy and warm throughout winter (it hit -2 whist we were there), there were games to play for the family and the pool in the spa 2 mins walk away was large and lovely. The surrounds were formed of picture perfect English countryside, with grazing sheep in nearby paddocks and rolling hills meeting manicured fields. Highly recommended spot!

We had a lovely stay at Jonathans place. Very quiet and peaceful but great countryside around and lots to do with family within easy drive. The facilities were great and so nice to have access to the pool. Great place for a getaway with family.

We had a very nice time in Child Okeford. It is a large family house and had plenty of room for my wife and I, my in-laws, and four young children. Francesca was very friendly and helpful. This is very much their family home, with family photos everywhere, so it feels like you are staying at a friend’s house.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Monk’s Farm. What an incredible property it is! Gemma was super helpful and responsive and I couldn’t recommend staying here more. Wow - amazing!
