Nice safe place to stay…

The Vintage Inn was perfect for our overnight stay in Wellington. Room was perfect with nice pub and good breakfast in the morning. Dave was very friendly and helpful.

It was wonderful to stay in Chapel Hill for a few days! Carolynn and Roland are very hospitable and wonderful people, who immediately make you feel at home. Every morning I enjoyed a delicious breakfast and had nice conversations with Carolynn. The house is located in a beautiful and quiet area, but within walking distance of Lynton and Lynmouth. The walk to Watersmeet is also definitely worth it! Or the Exmoor Coaster open bus service to Porlock and Minehead. Also, if you do not have a car at your disposal, you can easily take the bus from Barbrook to Lynton/Lynmouth.

I enjoyed staying at Olivia’s lovely home. The room and en-suite were perfect and the location was minutes from Frome’s high street. I’d highly recommend Olivia’s place to anyone looking to explore Frome. I was able to park my van on the street and leave it there for the duration of my stay while I explored on foot. A great way to see Frome and made possible by Olivia’s wonderful location.

I had a lovely 3 days staying in Judith’s house. She is very friendly and helpful and lives in a nice quiet area., within walking distance of the town, Tor, Chalice Well and Wearyall Hill. Plus the bed was so comfy! Thank you Judith.

Helen was very welcoming and friendly. House was clean and free from clutter. She cleared a shelf in the fridge for me. I was on a swimming training course nearby, so didn’t need to use the bath or shower, so can’t comment on that.

Third stay at 8 Owls and it reslly is a perfect place to stay centrally located. Very useful shared spaces like the kitchen and veranda. We had a couple questions and hosts were so responsive and extremey helpful to us. Vrry cute extra touches around the place. Very beautiful accomodation. 😍 would stay again in a heart beat 💓

I had the most amazing stay at the Corner House. Marina and Martyn were so incredibly kind, helpful and attentive. They have put so much thought into every aspect to ensure their guests have an amazing stay. The Green Room is beautiful, peaceful, has the most comfortable bed and stunning views of the garden. The garden is stunning and peaceful. Cake and tea available on arrival was a wonderful touch. I was blown away by how fantastic the breakfast was. The best produce, so much choice, a real feast and Marina is a fantastic cook. I will miss it! If you are thinking of staying, don't hesitate, just book. You will not be disappointed. Thank you both so much. Just wonderful.

Easy access any time of the day, good sized carpark, each chalet room has it's own access door. Good breakfast, friendly staff, nice setting for a separate dining room

It's difficult to 'say a few words' in the space allotted because from the welcome to the assistance with our departure, everything was perfection. I have owned a historic inn, am a participant in the Air B&B in the US and a world traveler and can say with confidence that our stay at The Cider Barn was the best Air B&B experience we've ever had. Louise is the consummate hostess and excels at gracious hospitality. She is a concierge who is not only knowledgeable but makes the experience happen. She generously provided transportation to and from a wedding reception for us as we found the small lane driving at night quite intimidating as Americans. Even finding the 'hidden gem' was a challenge for us but well worth it and we boosted our learning curve as time went on, all too quickly. The property is exquisite; it easily qualifies for submission in Architectural Digest. We are deeply grateful to Louise, our hostess, and any guest is fortunate to stay here.

The accommodation was very clean and felt very homely. Bridget was a great host and very helpful when we checked in. We would definitely love to stay again😊

I had a wonderful experience staying with my host and her husband, Jim. Jim is such a kind and thoughtful man, on my first day at work, he generously gave me a lift to my workplace, which made a world of difference. We had some great conversations during the ride, and he truly made me feel welcomed and at ease. I would wholeheartedly recommend Jim as the go-to person for anything you might need. They both made my stay memorable, and I’m so grateful for their hospitality!

We had a fantastic stay! The house is in a great location, very peaceful and quiet, with beautiful gardens and spotless rooms. Everything was so clean and well-kept. The town itself is calm and relaxing, perfect for a quiet getaway. Rob and Lu were amazing hosts—very kind and helpful. Whatever we asked for, they were happy to prepare and assist with. Their hospitality really stood out, and even their pet was lovely! The way the house is set up shows how much thought has gone into every detail. From the moment we walked in, it felt warm and welcoming. You can absolutely go out and explore, but honestly, just spending time in the house itself was a highlight. It was a truly wonderful experience, and everything felt perfectly planned—like they really understand what makes guests feel comfortable and at home. Thank you for a great stay!

Staying with Alison is just perfect and I really look forward now to my visits to Dorset and Somerset. What a beautiful place to stay. On arrival Pauline immediately moved us to a double room as it was our anniversary despite having booked the twin. It was a stunning room with a 4 poster bed! Everything about the place was beautifully maintained. We were able to explore the gardens at our leisure, again absolutely amazing with historic water ways as it had previously been a mill. Yhe breakfast vets equally of a high standard. The nearby village of Cannington was easily walkable with shops, pubs and restaurants. Pauline was extremely friendly and welcoming.

Claudine was the perfect host, adding value at every turn. We were made to feel special as guests and I’ll always return there if ever in Lynmouth again

We loved staying at Sally’s place. It was so peaceful that as soon as I arrived I had a beautiful nap! Such gorgeous surrounding and our room was beautiful. Sally was so friendly and helpful :-) Definitely recommend staying here if you want a quiet place to rest your head. Wedmore is a such a quaint village which lovely little shops and so easy to get everywhere. It’s a great place to stay if you want to explore the surrounding areas of Glastonbury and Wells.

What a wonderful couple of days. Ian and Wilma were amazing hosts, so attentive, friendly and 'nothing was too much trouble.' They were so knowledgeable about the area and offered a variety of places to visit and eat. They welcomed us with wonderful homemade Dutch apple cake and followed this with an amazing, varied and full Dutch breakfast. Their home is beautiful, so clean, peaceful and restful. We so enjoyed our visit and would love to return.

I stayed with Avril for one night and she is a very good host. The place was spotless, and in my room, which had a lockable door, I had tea and coffee making facilities, plus use of the main kitchen, for which she had bought me bread to toast for breakfast, as well as some chocolate filled buns. It's now my go to place to stay whenever I visit the area.

My second stay here and just as lovely as before. Vivienne is the perfect host and makes you feel so welcome. The accommodation is wonderful with a super comfy bed and luxury bathroom. Vivienne provides a tasty breakfast, and the weather was so nice I had breakfast in the garden every day. I would totay recommend a stay here!
