Great place good location. It can get very warm if it’s a sunny day a bit like a summerhouse. it is a great place lovely setting definitely go back.

We felt like we’d travelled in time to a few hundred years ago when we arrived to the house! The flat was tastefully decorated, comfortable and has everything we’d needed. The views are breathtaking from the living room and even from the bedrooms and kitchen. Spotless bathroom, there was all amenities we needed. We walked around the beautiful lake, garden is just unbelievable! We read a lot, felt like Jane Austen times. A very special flat in a beautiful setting . We’d come again.

Nick's apartment is the perfect base for exploring Bridgnorth and the local area. It is spotless, cosy, beautifully decorated and extremely well equipped. Communication was quick and easy and the location was just as described. We enjoyed exploring Bridgnorth and found great places to eat within easy walking distance. I have no hesitation in recommending this lovely flat.

Perfect location for exploring the area. It is also within walking distance (less then 2 minutes) from the town centre where there are plenty of pubs and restaurants. The apartment overlooks a beautiful park and you'll get visited by the ducks in the morning. The got tub is a very welcome extra after a long day. The hosts are fantastic, easy to contact, any questions are answered quickly, comprehensive instructions and very friendly. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you'll need. Great value for money. We will be back

Fantastic place to stay, absolutely loved it. As a solo female I felt really safe and secure and I loved the views out of all of the windows really beautiful. I’d love to stay again and would recommend it to anyone!

An immaculate, home from home in a beautiful, peaceful location. Jacky was a brilliant host, always responding quickly to any queries and providing lots of useful information. A great base to explore the historic area. Would thoroughly recommend The Chauffeur’s Loft!

Fantastic host 👍. Arrived 15minutes before checkin and was warmly welcomed by Michael and his wife who showed me round and explained everything. There was even milk in the fridge, porridge packets and pan-au-chocolate’s as well as tea and coffee, could not have wished for more. Parking was great, off-road on their shared drives and entry and exit was problem free. As the property is self contained leaving and coming back was simple and I could come and go anytime. The property was spotlessly clean and tidy, fresh bedding and towels and a lovely shower in the bathroom. Absolutely spot on👏👏👏 highly recommend this spot as an excellent base for a few days fishing or to explore the town and surrounding countryside. Not only close to the river, but close enough to Bridgnorth to easily walk to the shops, restaurants and pubs. Overall brilliant 👍👏🌟

My brothers second stay here, cannot recommend it highly enough such a convenient location for the town and a wonderful space. Lovely location for canal walks and restaurants in town. The house is beautiful and so well maintained and has everything you need. John and Alison are the perfect hosts and nothing is too much trouble. They respond to messages quickly and it was lovely to meet them this time too! I’m sure if my brother comes back in the next couple of years we will look to book again.

Just got back from a 3 day stay at this lovely cottage. The location is exactly what was needed. Tranquil, Peaceful and Quiet. We travelled as a couple with a 3 year old and a dog. The garden was big and allowed the dog to roam about without too much worry (other than the stream at the end of the garden). The cows in the next field made for the countryside experience! There are many things to go see and visit in the local area and further like the Lake Vernwyn or Pistyll Rhaeadr waterfall with hikes and walks. The cottage itself is beautiful and you can see the effort and heart that went into the renovation. It has a homely and cosy feel with everything you need for a stay. We would 100% stay again and would recoup anyone looking for an authentic Welsh countryside break to look no further than Chapel Cottage.

It was a great place, well located for Shrewsbury town centre with a pleasant walk along the river to get there. I would definately stay here again. Note: finding the property can be tricky when following 'sat nav', and working out how to reverse a car into the off-road drive required a bit of strategic thought, but that all seemed to add to the experience! Krystena was a fab host, so helpful and friendly. The house was lush and exactly what we needed. The kitchen space was amazing for us to socialise and loved the hot tub.

Our multi generational family had a wonderful stay in Lock Cottage. Everything you could need was provided in a homely environment. Noel was so helpful and reassuring as we were concerned about recent flood levels on the river. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property and look forward to visiting again.

Thank you to Suzanne for an amazing stay. It was very relaxing, not just because of the location and surroundings, but also because Suzanne provided everything we needed to settle after a long journey. Although we didn’t formally speak, we felt you were there if we needed anything and always responded almost immediately. You provided a lot of useful information including maps for local walks, shops etc. We liked that fact that we could walk out of the lodge and immediately find walking routes in any direction. We also liked that the garden was secure, one of our dogs is a little excitable and it was reassuring to know that she could venture in to the garden without worrying about what she was up to! All amenities were perfectly functional and of good quality. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom with good shower too. Thank you for a lovely stay. I would recommend Suzanne’s place to anyone who likes long scenic walks, relaxing, and escaping their busy lives in a beautiful location.

we love staying at Christopher's apartment, we must have stayed 4 or 5 times before. we feel right at home here the space is huge and has everything you could ever need in a brilliant location. also super handy for a delicious breakfast downstairs in the cafe. thanks for having us again, we'll be back. Lucy was really friendly and helpful, answering questions quickly. She was there to check us in and explain everything, and provided some helpful tips. Its a great location within walking distance of the cathedral and town centre, and several restaurants and pubs. The flat itself is clean, comfortable and has everything we needed, it was also very quiet. Bathroom was very good with a great shower. Car can be parked in a secure underground car park which is accessed by a lift. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend and are likely to stay again next year.

Very nice flat, exactly as described. Backyard is on the Worcester-Birmingham canal, which was the attraction for me. There is a table and chairs for sitting out and watching canal boats and waterfowl pass by. The train is adjacent to the canal and trains pass by several times an hour during the day with some at night too. I actually enjoy the train traffic, but with the doors/windows closed there is no train noise. Kitchen is adequately supplied for just about any cooking. Bathroom is typically small, but the shower was great with steady flow of hot water. There is plenty of parking, numerous grocery stores and restaurants are within a short walk. I thoroughly enjoyed my 12-day stay.

I booked this very late and last minute, Yvonne was so lovely and communicated quickly with me so late in the day. The place was beautiful and in the most lovely scenic location, so peaceful listening to the birds and the river running by surrounded by fields. I would definitely stay here again thank you Yvonne.

Bethan has a lovely place, we really enjoyed it, and the secret garden looking out over the Dee. She also provided Bread, milk and Butter to get us going. Good host, would recommend.

We had a lovely couple of nights at Kira's place. She had definitely gone the extra mile with little touches left for us. The apartment was bigger than we had anticipated, with great sized bedrooms. Everything was very clean and cozy. The mere was beautiful and peaceful to walk around straight from the garden. The traffic did wake us early both mornings but we didn't notice the road in the evenings. Ellesmere is a very quiet town in the evening.

very comfortable and spacious flat in short walking distance to the train station and the city center. quiet as well so we were able to sleep. also multiple bathrooms was a great perk for a family with teens.

We had such a lovely stay at this Airbnb! The space was clean, comfortable, and exactly as pictured. The host was welcoming and quick to respond to any questions. What truly made this stay unforgettable was the location — right beside the river. Waking up to the peaceful view of the water each morning was absolutely magical. It felt like a perfect retreat, yet still close to great cafes, restaurants, and public transport. I couldn’t have asked for a better balance of nature and convenience. Would definitely stay here again!
