This is a renovated Kyomachi house near Gojo-zaka. A 100-year-old Kyomachi house has been transformed into a guest house where you can enjoy the atmosphere of the good old days. It is a luxurious natural material renovation that uses diatomaceous earth with deodorizing and humidity regulating effects, and unpolluted materials such as hinoki cypress and cedar, with attention to detail in the finish. The whole ceiling is covered with cypress, and the pillars, frames, and baseboards are also made of cypress, creating a space filled with the comfort of real natural materials and the scent of cypress. It is located in the Kiyomizu-dera Temple area, about 6 minutes on foot from Exit 4 of Kiyomizu-Gojō Station on the Keihan Line, near Kiyomizu-dera Temple, one of Kyoto's most famous tourist destinations. Tourist attractions such as Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Ken-in Temple, Yasaka Shrine, Rokubara Hachimangu Shrine, Miyagawa-cho, and Gion are within walking distance.
