Vacation rentals with breakfast in Scottish Borders

Our stay at Carol's was really good, just what we needed after a long walk. The accomodation was was nicely appointed, spotlessly clean with some lovely little touches. The breakfast was more than substantial. Carol's communication was helpful and the lift into town and back was much appreciated. Many Thanks.

Ruth house is great. Lovely garden and spacious rooms. We spent a week there, we are a couple with a 3yo girl and we recommend this house for families. It is clean with many useful things in the house because it is a "real home". Quite a few of buses around just walking 5 minutes. Thanks!

We had a wonderful stay at Vicki's place - on the high street, so very convenient for food/cafes etc, but not noisy. The space was beautifully presented, absolutely spotless, and is the best-equipped Airbnb we've ever stayed at, right down to crockery and cutlery for our toddler. Everything you could possibly need was there, and it felt like home from the minute we walked in.

Crookston House is by far the best place we have stayed in the UK. Georgina and Malcolm were the perfect hosts and couldn't do enough for us. The house and grounds were stunning. We felt we were being invited in, not only into someone's home but, to share and experience a piece of history. The whole place is beautiful, fascinating and so relaxing. We had the Yew Tree bedroom which was fantastic. We also had access to the downstairs rooms and after a day of hiking and sightseeing was a lovely way to relax with a glass of wine surrounded by family portraits and so much history.

Me and my dad stayed at Georgina’s for two nights and had a wonderful stay. The location of the house couldn’t have been better with a beautifully kept garden, wood trails and plenty to explore in the area by car. The breakfast was wonderful as well and we would definitely come back for a stay if we’re ever in the area!

We stayed in Sarah's home over the holidays for a family reunion. Sarah's house is all one would hope for a home away from home. After a long and tiring transatlantic flight, we found a welcoming and charming place waiting for us. The house is spacious and very tastefully renovated with lots of character. We truly enjoyed congregating around the large kitchen and dining table. There is a nice outdoor space which we didn't have much time to explore (rainy season) but great to have access to, nonetheless. The neighborhood is only a 15-20 min bus ride from the city center and there is a pretty canal very close by, ideal for a stroll or a jog. We recommend Sarah's home for anyone looking to spend quality time with family/friends in a lovely house and explore the beauty of Edinburgh.

We have stayed in plenty of places across Scotland and this was the most thoughtful house we ever stayed in. Everything had its place, spotless clean, no technical issues with anything - which for the size of the house is impressive. Even an EV charger outside. Cannot recommend enough. Will definitely come back.

An amazing few days staying with Pam and Adam. First class hospitality from the hosts. Very central for the purpose of our visit. Will definitely be returning 👌🏼

Perfect for a stay if using the airport and lots of takeaways and a supermarket right next door

Joyce a été très arrangeante pour notre heure d’arrivée. Elle a été au petit soin tout au long de notre séjour en nous proposant des snacks et un excellent petit déjeuner (qui nous a également servi à faire notre sandwich du midi). Joyce a également été très réactive à nos demandes. Je recommande grandement.

My husband and I had a great stay at Paul’s apartment! The apartment is even better in real life than in the photos. As others have mentioned, the communal spaces could use a little attention, though we knew that this is not within Paul’s control. The location was perfect for what we needed, Paul was responsive and kind, and the groceries he provided for our stay were a really, really nice touch. We’d stay here again should we come back to Edinburgh!

We had a very quick overnight stay at Clare’s place, but it was ideal. Lovely room and bathroom. Great amenities in the room as well as super easy check in. We would definitely stay again.

Stort værelse med meget opbevaringsplads. Lidt større tallerkener til morgenmaden, ville være nice.

We were a group of 6 and the moment we walked into house, we all felt like home. A spacious home with an outstanding interior design, super cosy. The kitchen was well staffed (best kitchen we‘ve ever had in an Airbnb). For the first morning David and his wife left us everything we needed for a proper breakfast. Thanks again for letting us stay at your beautiful home 😊 Absolutely recommended.

A lovely, comfortable stay with beautiful surroundings. The property had everything we needed (and more). Location was stunning and we took a walk around the gorgeous estate, which was so peaceful. Wish we could've stayed longer!

Nuestra estancia en lo de Judy y Charles fue fantástica. Un barrio hermoso, con buen acceso al centro de la ciudad, a unos 20 minutos a pie o bus con parada a media cuadra de la casa de Judy. La habitación es muy confortable, con todo lo necesario y una pulcritud total. La cama y las almohadas geniales, se duerme realmente bien. En cuanto a Judy, su hospitalidad y excelente predisposición para cualquier cosa que uno necesite merece realmente ser destacada. Super recomendable. Volvería 1000 veces ! Gracias Judy !

קטרינה היא אישה מקסימה, מארחת נפלאה, דואגת לכל מחסור, נעימה, מאד איכפתית וידידותית. הנכס היה מאד נקי, נוח, נעים ועונה לנו על הצרכים שלנו. כל שאלה אשר שאלנו , נענו בתשובה. קטרינה סיפקה לנו ארוחת בוקר, מצרכים, כל יום מחדש, למרות שילמנו רק על שהייה בחדר. המצעים היו נעימים, מגבות נקיות, חדר רחצה מצוחצח וחדר נקי. הנכס קרוב מאד מאד לתחנת אוטובוס, הנסיעה מהירה לעיר, הזמינות של האוטובוסים מאד טובה. מאד מאד ממליצה על השהות בביתה של קטרינה לכל מי שמעוניין לבוא ולבקר באדינברו. קטרינה אישה מקסימה מקסימה!!!!!!

Nothing short of perfection! Danii was so friendly, inviting, and staying with her felt like being hosted by a friend or family member. As a first timer in Scotland from the U.S., this was such a lovely way to begin our trip. The grounds are stunning, so peaceful, and the location is an easy drive from the airport and to the tram station. Danii was so helpful in giving clear directions, giving advice and recommendations for Edinburgh and beyond, and checking in with us daily. I would highly recommend booking and hope my husband and I get the chance to return soon.

Carol's place is a cosy, comfortable room with extras like coffee and hand creme. Carol's also provided a great breakfast and conversation. I highly recommend her place.

Great stay in Mark's lovely home, very close to kielder observatory. really friendly hosts and gorgeous border collie! easy to find with helpful instructions and gorgeous surroundings- would definitely stay again
