Riverview Apartment close to Edinburgh easy access

LoriRating, 5 stars4 days ago
This flat was delightful! Attractive, light, spotlessly clean and tidy, well furnished and cosy but not cluttered. Felt like a home with personal touches. Bed fresh and comfy, kitchen v well stocked, bathroom spacious and modern. Loved the setting overlooking the Esk river and near a picturesque historic footbridge. We were here for Edinburgh but enjoyed walking Musselburgh High St with convenient and nice shops.
A cozy entryway features a comfortable sofa with decorative pillows, a wooden dining table with chairs, and a vibrant area rug. Light filters through sheer curtains covering the door, while patterned wallpaper adds character to the space.

The Crows Nest, Eyemouth

LiamRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We chose David’s place for a relaxing and quiet break and that’s exactly what we got. Eyemouth it’s self had everything we wanted which included award winning Fish and Chips, Gelato lounge, a selection of pubs, bistros, souvenir shops, local coop leisure centre with swimming pool and even an amusement arcade with bowling alley. Everything was so close and friendly. We especially liked the wood burning fire, and the sight of the sea from a few rooms. Definitely would recommend and if in the area would stay again.

This was our second stay at this nice little flat. Very clean and spacious. Great hosts and everything we needed was provided with some nice little touches like milk in the fridge, plenty of teabags, biscuits etc. It's in easy walking distance of buses, shops, pubs, and places to eat. I'm sure we'll be back for a third visit.

If you're looking for a peaceful place in a beautiful location where can rest and venture out from into East Lothian, this cottage is the place for you! Spacious but homely, quiet but surrounded by animals, rural but very accessible from the lovely village of Gifford. Amy Flora was helpful and communicative while giving plenty of space. Highly recommended!

The Old Bakery

SusanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a lovely stay at The Old Bakery. We parked around the harbour easily and everything was in a 5 min walking distance (restaurants, shop, arcade). Margaret was really responsive and helpful and friendly at check-in. The house had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. We would recommend this as a place to stay.
A panoramic view of the coastline shows a rugged shoreline meeting the sea. Sandy beaches and rocky outcroppings are visible, dotted with clusters of homes below. The scene is accentuated by a clear blue sky, with soft clouds providing a tranquil setting.

Beach front retreat with stunning views!

ElenaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had the most wonderful stay in Eyemouth! The Airbnb was perfect—equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. The hosts were warm and welcoming, with thoughtful touches throughout the home that made us feel immediately at ease. Waking up to the sound of the sea and taking morning walks along the rugged coastline was truly magical. Eyemouth itself is a charming town with friendly locals, a rich fishing heritage, and delicious seafood—don’t miss Giacopazzi’s! Whether you’re looking for a peaceful escape or a base to explore the Scottish Borders, this place is ideal. We left with full hearts and can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!

Whitfield Bothy Cottage & Hot Tub

KerryRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We visited with 2 children, a baby and a dog. It was quite cramped but we knew this would be the case when we booked. The setting is beautiful with a lovely enclosed garden and private hot tub area. Emma was very responsive to all Messages sent before our stay clarifying things that were included such as the size of the dog crate, and also whilst we were there. The bothy was clean and had lovely extra touches such a dog treats and a welcome hamper. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Romantic Cottage Next to Sea

GillianRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Just home from the most amazing overnight stay in this most stunning property. There were 8 of us & a dog and honestly dont think we have ever stayed in such a beautiful place! The cottage is sooo warm & welcoming, cozy, stunningly themed throughout with beautiful nautical decoration. It had absolutely everything we could have needed for a comfortable nights stay & more. Wish we could stayed longer, it was absolutely perfect! The location is stunning & so close to the sea & beach &harbour. It was magical. The weather was absolutely glorious while we were there & St Abbs is the most visually stunning & picturesque place especially in the sunshine! The owner of the property Deb was amazingly helpful & great at getting back to me, she put up banners i had sent her for the birthdays we were celebrating & even left a box of biscuits & prosecco for us. If i could give a higher than 5 star rating I would. Its been a perfect stay & we really couldn't have asked for more. We loved it! 😍

city, sea & beach at your door:dbl/private bathrm

ThijsRating, 5 stars5 months ago
I spent nearly four months in Wendy's accommodation. I had a great time there! The apartment itself offers great views, and the room is very comfortable. It is easily accessible by bus and has a good connection to the city centre and main University Campus, as well as being close to a big supermarket and the beach. Being on the outskirts of the city and by the sea, it made it very easy to find peace, walking along the beach or visiting my personal favourite place, Newhailes Estate. For those coming to study here: the bus connection to the University of Edinburgh's King's Buildings is not great, especially on the way back, and if you'll have to be there a lot I'd recommend getting a bicycle, which is about twice as fast. Wendy is a very friendly host, who is usually not home during the day but if you run into her and she has time she will be open for a chat - for example sharing stories or music. She loves baking, and might leave something she made in the fridge for you!
A compact sleeping area features a black headboard against a beige wall. A single bed is dressed with a checkered blanket and a small pillow. Shelves above the bed hold decorative items, while a clothing rack stands nearby alongside a cabinet with a tissue box.

Double Bed Room in tow bed flat with shared kitchn

LauraRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Close to the airport, only 15 minutes by Uber. It is a good choice if you only need a place to sleep and then go. we did not use the shared spaces, only the toilet. It is a clean house but do not expect hotel conditions. The host was very helpful and kind. The room has a lock so if you leave your luggage and then go visit the city, other guests cannot access your room. It is cheap comparing to other accommodations.

Annexe Apartment. Extended & Converted Garage

NoëllineRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The location is perfect for visiting Edinburgh, the train station is a 5-minute walk and there are very regular trains. Great also for walking to the beach (about 20 min) and having a drink and/or eating by the water. The "garage" is spacious enough for two, very clean and with everything you need for a short stay. Communication is easy with Jamie, who is very responsive. I would recommend this property, it's great!
