Small Paradise above the Walensee

A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

If you want to escape everyday life and love nature, you have come to the right place. The vacation home is located above Urnäsch in the agricultural zone at 1000 meters above sea level. It is the ideal starting point for various hiking routes. Parking spaces are available for 4 vehicles. By arrangement, more can also be provided. Also ideal for birthdays, family celebrations, and friends' gatherings. If required, a traditional youth formation of string music can be organized.

The Neckertal is a romantic, dreamy valley with many hiking and biking opportunities and is located between the two tourist destinations Appenzellerland and Toggenburg.

On our active farm with dairy cows, you can experience real farm life up close – from watching milking to daily farm work. A highlight are our young animals, including alpacas, calves and piglets, as well as pigs, bees, chickens, cats and our very child-friendly dog. Welcome to Appenzellerland, in the valley of the Silvesterchläuse, in Urnäsch, an old house with a separate entrance, a nice place to sit, directly on the Urnäsch (stream) and the Postbus stop towards Schwägalp, the duplex apartment was renovated in the 1970s, with a small kitchen and a spacious living room to linger in, simple, quiet and cozy and good to know, in the other part of the house (private entrance) my parents live, but this does not affect you.

Panorama Dachstock-Loft

The loft in the former old schoolhouse is a special accommodation and offers you an idyllic location near the forest, perfect for hiking and exploring. In the evenings it is quiet here and you can end your time in complete relaxation in the light-flooded room. In the village about 2km away you will find enough restaurants. (5min by car) In the forest there is a Swiss-family fireplace, a plant trail and for the little guests a Farytail-trail.

Eight individually designed bedrooms, an open kitchen with dining area, a cozy lounge, a terrace, a private fitness room and a sauna ensure a relaxing stay. Ideal for families, groups and friends.
