Kid-friendly vacation rentals in San Marco, Venice

Tommy met us at the airport and had great communication leading up to check in. The house itself was very comfortable for 3 people. Since it was 3 floors, we kept all our luggage downstairs. The view of the canal was amazing and the location was relatively easy to get to. Thank you Tommy!

We thought the home was fantastic and close to everything we wanted to see. Marina gave great recommendations for food. The home was very clean and quiet and has great amenities.

Beautiful view and right next to Farragona water/boat taxi. The hostess was wonderful- flexible with our check-in/out. Easy to communicate. The apartment is spacious and clean. We always felt safe. It is a more quiet area and that was just what I was hoping - peaceful and relaxing.

We loved the place! Charming and well appointed and mostly perfect location. The roof terrace made it the most perfect!

(Tip: Line 7 to go to Venice and back, or 7E) Remember to take your bus ticket at the airport or train station, for the next day's trip. Pizzeria right next to the accommodation. We spent 3 nights in Barbara's very tastefully decorated Apartment. We were personally welcomed by Angela who takes perfectly care of everything. The house is in a very typical venetian neighbourhood, with lovely osterias, cafes where you can enjoy a nice meal or a campari soda. although its only a 10 minutes walk to the very heart of venice, to the museums etc. it is a quiete place offering good sleep! We highly recommend this authentic house/Apartment and hope to have soon more time for Venice.

Nicola, the host, was very helpful. He met us personally at his apartment and explained everything clearly. He even helped us book a taxi at 5 AM to the Venice Mestre train station. The apartment was nice, and we really enjoyed our stay. The bus and tram stations are just a few minutes’ walk away. Highly recommended!

One of the best apartments we have stayed at… Antonella takes care of the tiniest details by providing goodies and toiletries. The apartment is spotless and the linen is crisp. I would recommend her apartment for a great and memorable stay in Venice. It’s within walking distance to Rialto Bridge and has a great location.

If Diana Vreeland lived in Venice… Super classy apartment in a dreamy quiet courtyard. Giovanna met us at the vaperato stop and guided us to her sweet flat. If you are looking for an Airbnb to stay at in Venice, this should be your number one pick. It is in a fantastic location (walkable to everything), the Airbnb is easy to find, and the host is extremely kind and responsive. If I could give this place 6/5 I would, it was just that perfect!

This is the perfect place to stay while exploring the beauty of Venice! It is literally a few minutes’ walk to the Piazza de San Marco. Andrea met us at the water taxi stop near San Marco and walked us to the apartment. He was very gracious and kind. We traveled with several other families and we had the best experience when it came to our accommodations.

The place was stunning with all the latest appliances in the kitchen and a beautiful bathroom. They organized multiple transfers for us, and they were all incredibly smooth. There was always somebody waiting for us to take us to our destination. When my mom was injured, Dimitri personally helped us get to the airport and transported our luggage for us separately since it would have been too much for me to carry it all on public transport. Not only is the place beautiful, clean, unique, and in a great location, but the hosts are truly great humans and anyone staying with them is in good hands.

We loved Maria’s place. It is exactly like the photos. We enjoyed sitting by the large window watching the gondola’s go by. It was an easy walk to all of the key sights in Venice. We especially appreciated that the hosted facilitated our transfer from the train station. What a great way to start our visit! We highly recommend this place and would stay again.

This is our favourite place that we have stayed on our honeymoon around Italy, from Australia. First off the place is beautiful, the room is gorgeous I love the mirror and chairs and the bed was quite comfortable, shower is good too. The location!! Wow! Like a minute walk from Rialto Bridge and less than 10 minutes to St Marks Square and super close to the Rialto waterbus stop, we were able to get up and walk around early around 7am and there were hardly any people so I recommend doing it, there’s also a gelato place nearby best gelato ever!! Overall 10/10 super happy, the host Daniela is very lovely and helpful I’d love to come back and stay again 🛶🎭💕

I would give this place a 6 out of 5 if I could! This place is the best we stayed in during our Italy visit. It has a stunning canal overview and is located in a more peaceful and less crowded part of Venice, but still offers access to the touristy areas. The interior is amazing: very comfortable with all amenities. The hosts, Nicolo and Anna, had kindly prepared a variety of snacks and drinks upon our arrival. At some point they went out of their way to travel from out of town to give us a spare key when we were locked out. I'd love to come back to the same place whenever I visit Venice in the future.

Alberto’s place was incredible. He was quick to answer any questions we had, usually within 10 mins. The location was near many shops and restaurants and easy walking distance to San Marco. And as advertised, the apartment has hot water, which is very uncommon in Italian apartments. Would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay in Venice. it was nice to have a first floor condo. Raffaella gave great recommendations for food. Location is close to Waterbus and Gondola service. It was walkable to all the major sites The bed was very comfortable. All in all it was a great place to stay.

Firstly, great shoutout to Paolo. He was VERY responsive and clear with the instructions. Secondly, the place is VERY conveniently located near the public bus (boat) stand that comes directly from the airport. There was no need to deal with private transfer (which can be expensive and opaque) as it was all public AND convenient. Paolo was also very kind to let us do early check-in by almost 4 hours on the day of arrival. Location-wise it is quiet yet walkable to san marco and alot of other itineraries. Highly recommend this place.

We loved this Airbnb for our Venice trip! The location was cute and had everything we needed within waking distance without the touristy hub bub of other parts of the city. We felt welcomed by Elena and she was detailed and responsive about communication. Her lovely little guide book was very informative - great pizza recommendation! We also loved the wonderful decor - she has a great eye for decorating!

Perfect apartment and neighborhood to enjoy Venice like its inhabitants. It's all immersive and well-equipped. I recommend it without hesitation for a long weekend and mornings to the sound of birds!
