Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Saint Lawrence River

It is a very beautiful and peaceful place, I recommend it, and it is very clean which is one of the most important things about a place.

Overall we very much enjoyed modern rural space. Kiss the Cow farm about 5min drive was amazing& we got most all main food there w/ additional items from Barnard General Store. Spices/ cookware were very good - we brought nonstick pans& 1 knife to supplement. Plenty bowls, measuring cups/spoons, maybe a set of tom collins glasses would be nice albeit stemless wine and rocks glasses available. Needs garlic/onion powder. Tub was amazing/ upstairs bathroom a true getaway/ relaxing space. It was as pictured albeit note spiral staircase &open grated flooring upstairs. Plenty of windows albeit not much cross breeze so think ahead if bring own fan and/or start A/C before get too warm. I would say you must have an SUV year round for this rental - surrounding roads/ driveway are a good distance on rough dirt/gravel - traversable yet a sportier car with low profile tires/ ground clearance would not work. We enjoyed simply walking driveway& East Barnard Rd. Barnard Inn restaurant worth it.

Belle maison. Très propre, avec toutes les commodités souhaitées et située dans un endroit calme avec une belle vue sur les montagnes. À quelques minutes de voiture du casino et à distance à pieds du Bootlegger, c’est un bel emplacement pour profiter de la région.

We came here for a private getaway on our honeymoon and it did not disappoint. The price was a bit much, but for such a special time I felt it was worth it at the time I booked, and worth it it certainly was. beautiful, quiet, serene, it was perfect for a getaway. I would absolutely recommend, and I already have, this stay. 10/10

What a magical place superb maison is! The island is just lovely and quiet but still so close to Quebec. the PERFECT escape. the gorgeous farms, architecture, fresh local produce, exquisite restaurants, bakeries and fromageries are like stepping back in time. A real joy and so peaceful.

Luc's place was absolutely exceptional. So beautiful and clean and accomodating to our needs. The house has everything you need, there is a nice big hot tub in a private gazebo, and the private beach on the amazing lake is very close. Luc brought out two kayaks for us and we had a marvelous time on the lake. Cannot recommend enough.

Spent 5 days for a siblings/partners get-together in March. The place was excellent for our needs. Lots of space for everyone, big bedrooms with comfy beds and very quiet between floors. The scenery was beautiful from with the spring thaw of the river underway. Nancy, our host, was very helpful and super responsive. We all said that we should come back in the summer or autumn to fully enjoy the property and surrounding area. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay! just in town for a couple of nights to attend an event near by. The home was clean with all the amenities you could need. We would absolutely stay here again next time we're in the area.

This was my second stay here, and just like the first time, it truly felt like home. Everything is easy to find and thoughtfully organized, which makes the stay smooth and relaxing. The place is cozy, welcoming, and just amazing overall. Highly recommend!

A wonderful victorian home renovated beautifully. The cafe downstairs is a lovely with delicious coffee and food options. Just minutes from the downtown core and all it has to offer. Additionally it's close to two amazing local breweries. Highly recommend.

We wanted to be in a prime location in Uptown Saint John and that's exactly what we got. The apartment itself is a wonderfully restored and bright heritage space with exposed brick and impressive wooden beams. But it also has the best comforts, including a cozy bed, excellent water pressure and a heat pump. We loved the decor and how the furniture was organized in a space efficient way. There are lots of pubs and shops in the immediate area and all kinds of great walking. We enjoyed a bite at Cask and Kettle across the street, the goodies at the bakery downstairs, and were able to enjoy a couple of beers at the dog friendly Wasted Day Brewery. The revamped waterfront area is something Saint John can really be proud of. The night life in the area is vibrant, as we expected. Instructions in the booklet in the room are clear. Only had a couple of minor questions for the host and the response time was excellent. We have family in the Saint John area and certainly hope to stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The apartment was very clean and modern, and the complimentary beers were a delicious bonus. Great location, walkable from everything downtown. And about 30 seconds away from the awesome Graystone brewery next door— but you would never know it given how quiet and private it was inside. Host was helpful and responsive when we had questions. 10/10 would stay here again!

An awesome place to relax and get away from it all. We were 4 people and it was the perfect size. I think it would be a tight squeeze with more than that. Place was clean and very welcoming. I wish we could have spent longer there in nice weather to enjoy all the amenities that it had to offer. Merci, Richard.

We loved our stay at Julie's! Our pooches had the best time. They were the happiest to be in nature and interact with the other animals. We also had a great time unwinding and connecting with nature. Hoping we can come back soon.

A l'extérieur pour les adeptes aquatiques tout y est. Terrasse avec foyer, etc...tel que montré sur les photos. Si vous cherchez le calme, le quai au bord du lac vous comblera; le logis est situé au coeur du village dont assez mouvementé et bruyant dans la journée (c'est la vie) mais vers 20:00 hres tout est plus calme; tout est central, tout se fait à pied, épicerie, etc... Vous n'aurez pas la vue du lac de l'intérieur, il faut sortir du logis et aller sur le terrain. Il n'y avait qu'une sortie du logis, pas de sortie d'urgence peut-être que les fenêtres adjacentes au trottoir en était une. J'ai beaucoup apprécié mon séjour, les hôtes étaient très serviables et je le recommande à tous selon vos besoins, tout y est.

Great accommodation with an amazing view of the water. Well equipped kitchen and close to many hikes and restaurants. Well really enjoyed our stay!

We loved this cute, cozy house—it had plenty of space to spread out and struck the perfect balance between old charm and updated amenities. The location was ideal: walkable to the beach, which was great for sea glass hunting! Definitely recommend exploring the island while you're here. We’d absolutely stay again!

Nice place in a quiet neighborhood. Lots of rooms for a group. Beds are comfortable. Peaceful place, felt like home. Easy to find, a lot to do around. The spa and pool table was a +. Would definitely go back !!

We rented Steve’s place for the weekend of our daughter’s college graduation. It has four separate bedrooms, which was perfect because we were able to invite the grandparents and our daughter’s godmother, and we were all able to stay at the same place. The cabin has an open floor plan with a large living room, kitchen and dining area. We cooked all weekend and played games at the dining room table— it was delightful!!

Très bel emplacement et superbe vue! Le chalet est aussi très bien équipé.

The house was stocked with necessities as relayed by the host and was clean upon arrival. The amenities and area were great.
