The Loon's Refuge Rustic chalet, refuge style. Located 2 km into the forest, isolated, quiet, without electricity, without internet or running water. Perfect for a healing experience in the heart of nature! Canoe, hiking trails in private forest with monumental sculptures. Wood stove, one bedroom, two bunk beds and a dry toilet outside. An SUV or van is required to get to the site, otherwise we offer a round-trip shuttle service.

A 5-minute walk away, our yurts offer the most beautiful view of the Saguenay Fjord, very luxurious, they are equipped with a propane oven and fridge, 12 Volt solar power electricity, 22 liters of hot water per hour and shower. Bedding is provided as well as all cooking equipment. The yurt is equipped with a tank toilet, there are also outside dry pit toilets. After a fire ravaged our first cabin in 2024, we imagined, designed, and rebuilt a space that allows nature to take center stage. The architecture is raw yet thoughtful. The materials, the lines, the light: everything is there to give way to what truly matters—the view, the space, and the element.
