The building is located close to Green Tree Coffee and Tea, a coffee roaster, so the aroma of coffee will be in the air. We located about 400 yards South of the Islesboro Ferry and Lincolnville Beach and 2.4 milres North of Camden Hills State Park and Mount Battie. Free coffee and tea everyday, all day! Refuge in the forest / La Bécassine

La Bécassine is a small wooden mini-house. Heated by a wood-burning stove, equipped for a stay in the forest. Running water (summer), drinking water container (winter), no electricity, lantern and candle light, butane stove for cooking, basic dishes and saucepan, bedding, double bed in the mezzanine, dry toilet outside. La Bécassine is a 5-7 minute walk to the parking lot. Beautiful brightness, nice view surrounded by trees. Quiet and stargazing.
