A train does pass by a couple of blocks away on occasion and sounds its horn, so light sleepers may need a white noise app or provided fan. Non smoking/clean air property.

We are right next to Coleman Hawkins Park where many festivals and concerts are held. Check the St. Joseph downtown calendar for any events that might bring crowds and noise. Chancey’s home was perfect for our stay! The house was spotless, beds and furniture were comfy and had everything we needed to cook in the kitchen. Located in a nice and quiet area as well. We would definitely stay here again!

Such a well thought out home in a quiet neighborhood and convenient location. The beds and pillows are comfy. April even thought of extra touches like snacks in the kitchen and a comprehensive coffee and tea bar. If the weather had been nicer we would have enjoyed the outdoor patio furniture too! There’s even a really fun basketball game down in the basement area. I travel here often on business and will keep this in my list of favorites!

Tracie was an amazing host from the moment I arrived. The space was incredibly clean and well appointed. Plush bedding and bathroom linens were amazing to have. As a day sleeper it's not always easy to find a place that is peaceful both day and night, but this was one them. I would absolutely recommend Tracie's place to friends or family, and I wish I could have stayed longer.

This is in the owners home , upstairs bedrooms and bathroom so there is nothing but bottled water and chips as far as I could tell . You can use her refrigerator but nothing was said about coffee so it didn’t appear that she had that on offer. But we did not specifically ask her about coffee. It’s very clean and we felt safe and comfortable.
