Family-friendly vacation rentals in Saint Johns River

The house was incredibly clean and very spacious. I appreciated that someone came regularly to clean the pool—especially since I’m very clean and a bit of a germophobe! The host was also very responsive, which I truly appreciated. We had a small issue with the HOA, and I’m grateful the host was on top of it and supportive throughout. I felt safe at all times in the gated community, and my kids really enjoyed the pool.

Very clean and convenient transportation

Maria's place was super cozy. It had everything we needed and then some. the property is beautiful. Pools were nice. and the staff at the gates were very welcoming. No problems. very relaxing.

The place was very nice. We enjoyed the beautiful nature boardwalk and beach walk everyday. The kids enjoyed the gym and pool. It was a family friendly place and nice people. The house had everything we need. The master bathroom was spacious and very comfortable bed that gave us very good sleep every night.

My stay was amazing, you feel as though you are at a resort. The host was very friendly and welcoming. I was actually staying in the area for another week and would have loved to stay there for the upcoming week as well.

This space felt like home away from home. My family and I loved it! The location area is also nice and we felt safe and secure. Simone checked in on us after check-in which I appreciated very much.

Sandra's place is perfect and she's an exceptional host! The home is spot on as presented in the description and the photos. This was my and my husband's 2nd stay here. It was as pleasurable and wonderful as the first time. The check in process is easy and uncomplicated. The home is well located in a beautiful, quiet community with easy access to restaurants, grocery stores, and all that the area at-large has to offer. This place will always be our first choice! We're already looking forward to our next stay at Sandra's.

Dennis and Debra were excellent hosts. The little cottage was so cute and my dogs and I felt right at home. I had a chance to meet Dennis and he was very friendly and attentive. The location is great and near restaurants, a grocery store and Homosassa Springs State Park. I will definitely stay there again when I am in the area.

This was the perfect amount of space for us, we had a lovely stay and enjoyed the location and privacy very much.

This Airbnb home and host were both exceptional. The neighborhood has some really cute homes, and you just turn right out of the driveway and walk a short distance, turn left and you are there at the beach entrance. The beach was never crowded and quite lovely. Sue's home was immaculate and so organized. Even the utensils and pots and pans were stacked nicely and spotless. Her appliances were all upscale including the washer and dryer. We loved the screened in porch. There were different types of chairs and umbrellas for the beach (along with a wagon), and we also enjoyed her bikes as there were lots of sidewalks for easy riding. Sue left us goodies and was the best hostess. I can honestly say this was one of the nicest places we have ever rented at the beach. We were so pleased with her excellent rates as well. Thank you so very much for opening your home to us.

Noga’s place is very quiet and peaceful! It is easy to get to wherever you need to be as well. There is also a giant stone head in the yard! Do you know where you are!? You’re in the jungle baby!

Great place to stay for beautiful views and relaxation. Walkable distance to great food and short walk to peaceful beach!! Loved our stay and this place had all that you need! Really clean and well kept!

Ormand Beach is spectacular. The house is charming. It's the family's beach home, and as renters/visitors you share that home with the owners and are responsible for it. The house is full of beach chairs, beach towels, boogie boards, and every water accessory you might need. It was a privilege to get to spend a week there. I had a wonderful experience staying at Sam’s place. The house was very clean, well-maintained, and located in a quiet, safe, and family-friendly neighborhood. It truly felt like a home away from home. Sam was an exceptional host—very responsive, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. He made sure we had everything we needed and offered great local tips that made our Disneyland trip even more enjoyable. The house was spacious, comfortable, and perfect for our family of six. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the beds were cozy. One of the highlights for us was the swimming pool—my kids absolutely loved it and spent hours enjoying themselves! We especially appreciated the smooth check-in and check-out process. I highly recommend Sam’s home to anyone visiting the area. Thank you once again, Sam, for your warm hospitality!

Great!!! Vacation home had all the amenities a woman like me love. Plenty of everything from dishes to sheets very clean and comfortable. To say the least just right in the day far as neighborhood activities and quite peaceful and serene at night. Everything imaginable is located right around the corner a big bonus . Johann’s place was AMAZING! It was super nice and affordable and perfect for me and my husband’s trip to Disney. The private entrance made us feel safe and the place itself was clean and so cozy. We will definitely be trying to stay here again for future trips!

Place was just as described on the website. It was very clean and comfortable and the commute to Disney parks was less than 15 minutes away. Our host was very responsive and prompt each time we had a question.

This was a perfect family vacation spot we stayed 5 nights and enjoyed the pool.

My girl had a wonderful time her first time in Florida and the place was amazing and felt like home….this a great place and would rent it again…top tier

As for the room itself, and the amenities included, it is well worth it when you are utilizing what the resort has to offer. The room was clean, the balcony offered a good view. We were allowed to check in slightly early, which helped us get everything into the room easier and without waiting. The room is also close to the elevators, which was a plus.
