Tiny house vacation rentals in River Thames

This is the third time I've stayed in Katherine's 'shepherd's hut'. It is a beautifully situated, cosy and peaceful retreat from which to explore Oxford. Katherine is a great host, friendly and helpful without being at all intrusive. I'm sure I'll be back for a fourth time soon.

Bronwen is a fantastic host and a warm and friendly person who offers a perfect mix of helpfulness and respect for privacy. The accommodation was ideal for my needs working nearby. It was very quiet and peaceful, full of birdsong, and I felt extremely safe and secure.

Really great value for money; big and spacious enough for four, with 2 comfortable double beds, and Lynn even supplied us with breakfast things! The little courtyard was so lovely to sit outside.

I really enjoyed my stay at Helena's. The space was fantastic, very clean and well stocked, and in a beautiful setting - both in the grounds of the house and the village. It was really convenient to get to Oxford both on the train and driving. There are plenty of pubs to choose from and a Co-op a short walk away. I can highly recommend staying at Helena's and hope to return again soon!

The satnav directed me to the wrong house, the house is on the corner with Beechmont ave. Once I found the house it was really easy to get in following the instructions and I was really happy with it. Thank you.

Me and my partner had a wonderful mid-week retreat at Tracy’s Annex! Welcomed with a bottle of Prosecco, the place was just lovely. We had access to the hot tub and the heated pool which was just amazing! It felt totally private, we were never disturbed but always just a message away if we needed anything- Tracy has some fab recommendations and knows the area so well. The walks around are beautiful and the wildlife we saw was brilliant! There’s so much I could say but my real highlight was Tracy’s 2 golden labs, they’ll come and say hello when out in the garden and they are such love bugs! Totally made my day as a dog lover! Would stay again and would recommend to others. X

We had a wonderful Easter stay at the treehouse. It is a beautiful location in the middle of nowhere - we felt like we were nesting in the trees- with lovely woods for our children to play in (there was an epic Easter egg hunt). But it is also very close to lots of places of interest to explore. Very cosy to return to after a day out with a very clever and well stocked kitchen. Our kids loved their sleeping loft, the wood burner and the visiting cat. We will definitely come back

The Shepherds Hut was amazing, so cozy, clean and comfortable. Trish has thought of everything. The table and benches turn in to the bed base, with space underneath to store your bags. The bed was really comfortable and we both had a great nights sleep. The shower was great, towels provided. It's in a really quiet location and we had the added pleasure of seeing a glorious peacock on our arrival ! Trish is a really great host, lots of attention to detail such as: fresh free range eggs, cans of gin and tonic, chocolate biscuits, milk and a bottle of cold water in the fridge. Plus marshmallows for melting by a fire and a jar of sweets. Games to play, a folder with details of local pubs (all dog friendly), maps for local walks and booklets of places to visit. We recommend the Red Lion at Castle Eaton, a really friendly and welcoming pub, with very tasty food. We really enjoyed our weekend, so much to do and right in the heart of the Cotswolds. we were lucky to stumble across this gem due to a last minute cancellation. it was exactly what we were hoping for and more. the location, the cabin, the surroundings were magical and the break from reality we so needed. thank you so much Clare for all your help and for allowing us to see your part of the world in such a perfect way. The most wonderful stay in the most beautiful little hut. From the moment I arrived I felt instantly relaxed. Emily has created the most perfectly peaceful space, inside and out. She is also a wonderful host & was able to help me with my forgotten item. Waking up to the sound of the birds, with the greenery outside the window was my favourite part. Emily’s hut is a delightfully comfortable space and the log burner keeps you very cosy in the evening. The village itself is also delightful to walk around, there is plenty to explore in the area and a great pub on the doorstep. The only downside was checking out.

We had one of our most amazing stays here! Place is meticulously crafted for you to relax, have some nice hot tube experience, roast some bbq and just chill! Location is near a lot of cool places to visit — Oxford, Bath, Stonehenge and many more, make sure to ask Richard some recommendations! Richard is an amazing host with great attention to details. Fresh coffee beans or anything you need from a shop? He’s here to help you. Let alone wealth of experience that he’s ready to share during a nice morning outside coffee! Must visit! We’ll be back loads of times!

We loved every minute of our stay at Foxtrot. Shelagh is such a lovely lady who has a fantastic eye for detail and really looks after her guests. We were expecting a small space and just needed a bed for a couple of nights, but it was so gorgeous that we didn’t want to leave. It was all so beautifully designed and tastefully done with absolutely everything we could possibly need. We woke up to see the sheep and birds through the patio doors and could sit outside or inside to watch them. We then discovered a pair of binoculars and ID guide and a book with bird calls to help us identify everything. Highly recommended in every aspect - not enough characters available to tell you everything - just stay and be delighted! Shelagh has a small pottery studio next door and makes the most beautiful mugs and jugs which are very reasonably priced and are for sale as well as for use in the cottage.

Amazing 2 night stay!! Super easy to find and in a nice and private location with really good local food restaurants. The hut was clean and provided everything we needed to cook when we wanted to as well as a nice relaxing garden space where we could hear the local chickens, horses and sheep. Georgina also gave us some amazing recommendations which we made good use of during our stay!! Check In was super quick and easy! Short walk from a great pub / restaurant called the Fox at Oddington where we ate on our second night. Overall, great stay. Highly recommend

We had a wonderful stay. The place was exactly as described—clean, and beautifully maintained with a lovely hot tub. The host was incredibly friendly and responsive, making check-in and communication super easy. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay!

A perfect 48-hour escape from London! We couldn’t have found a better place for a quick countryside getaway. The Barn is the ideal spot to unwind and truly disconnect from city life—immaculate, beautifully curated, and full of thoughtful touches. Emma is a fantastic host, clearly passionate about creating a warm and welcoming space. We especially loved spending the evening outdoors with a BBQ, then getting cosy inside by the wood burner. The locally sourced jam and butter, plus fresh eggs from Emma’s own farm, were such a lovely bonus. We left feeling rested and recharged—already dreaming of coming back!

Tinkerbell Retreat is a perfect, peaceful place to get way and enjoy the outdoors. The shepherds hut is high quality and had a homely feel. The outdoor seating areas are great to get the most of the beautiful space. The space is so private and quiet. We were amazed by the 'visiters' that came to say hello, swans, geese, parakeets, robins, ducks, a heron, woodpecker, kingfisher and a deer. A morning coffee by the river, bbq lunch, and a evening drink in the hotub is a perfect way to enjoy the day. Yasmine is a lovely host, knowledgeable and it was a pleasure to say 'hi'. The walk into Weybridge is lovely, with lots of coffee shops and pubs. We will return next summer to enjoy once more. Martin & Judi

We had a lovely stay at Kate’s, it’s an idyllic location and so peaceful. The cottage is well equipped and really feels like a home away from home. We loved the design of the place and all the small touches like extra tasty flapjack were nice bonus. Thank you
