The accommodation consists of a double bedroom with French doors opening onto a nice big garden. There is a fully fitted kitchen and a small bathroom with walk-in shower. Broadband, TV, fridge, washing machine and drier are all included. It is about 50 yards from Egham station which has regular trains to London, the journey taking about 40 minutes. The train goes to Waterloo Station which is very close to the London Eye and Westminster, with Buckingham Palace, St James Park, Trafalgar Square a short walk away. Heathrow Airport is 5 or 6 miles away. Egham is a small town, but it has some historic interest in that the Magna Carta was signed at Runnymede down the road by the river in 1215. Not far away is Windsor castle and Eton (where princes William and Harry, and David Cameron went to school). There is also some lovely countryside around and lovely walks.

The Annexe is a self-contained interior designed studio apartment, adjacent to a Victorian mill house and set in beautiful gardens. We are perfectly positioned for visits to London, Windsor and Eton, as well as being a five minute taxi ride from Heathrow T4/5. Parking is free in our gated car park whilst you are staying with us. And if you are flying from Heathrow and need somewhere for your car whilst you are away you can leave it with us for a small daily charge (by prior arrangement).

The village is a haven of peace and quiet but close to the historic towns of Stow on the Wold, Bourton on the Water and Broadway among others. There are also many beautiful walks from the house.

We are right on the edge of the beautiful village of Cookham. The accommodation is annexed to the main house and is accessed through a secured side-gate for total privacy. There is also free private parking on the front drive. The room is ideal for people who need to commute (1 hour by train to London, 25 minutes drive to Heathrow), or families who need to have additional accommodation for their loved ones to stay in the area. Bright and airy, the annexe is brilliantly located in the historic part of the village, lovely local pubs and the award winning Norsk cafe are just a short walk away. Just a 10 minute walk from Haddenham mainline train station giving easy access London (40 mins) and Oxford (25 mins). Direct trains to Bicester Village take just 14 minutes.

Guests can enjoy complete privacy during their stay, while we live in separate on-site accommodation should you have questions. Parties and gatherings are not permitted.
