High Tipalt is a three bedroom, all en-suite, cottage set on the farm of Scotchcoulthard just four miles north of Hadrian's Wall within the Northumberland National Park. On the C2C and Pennine Way, a quarter of a mile from Garrigill with quaint village shop and Post Office and 3 miles from the small town of Alston, reputedly the highest market town in England. Alston has pubs, cafes and shops to enjoy as well as a heritage railway and plenty of walks. Parking for one car at the front, cosy for a large SUV or pickup. The front garden is currently a ‘work in progress’.
