Single Room shared bathroom

ShonaRating, 5 stars21 months ago
This was a fantastic find! Hotel upgraded me to a room with an en suite with shower which was fantastic (had originally booked a room with a shared shower). It is right next to the drop zone where I had a skydiving competition for the weekend, so great location for me and the man in reception on the Friday night was kind enough to stay as they usually close at 11pm but I was driving up from Southampton after work so wasn’t able to arrive until closer to midnight. He gave me my key and showed me to my room which was great, especially after such a long drive. The weather was terrible on the Saturday but we found a massive brand new gym down the road where you can pay £7 for a day pass, and there’s a big cinema a short drive away so lots to do on a rainy day. Parking free and in a hotel car park, perfectly safe. Great value for money and location for skydivers.

Exclusive Luxury Hot Tub Log Cabin, Lapwing lodge

AndrewRating, 5 stars10 months ago
A last minute cancellation with another property led us to find this one, and we're very glad we did! A beautiful, peaceful location with lovely grounds for the kids (and dog) to play in, and great local walks (there are so many useful guides/maps in the property). The hot tub is such a bonus, and the sheltered veranda allowed us to stay outside even though the weather wasn't amazing. We appreciated the fresh bread/cake/eggs/milk; the cake did not last long 😂. Local village has great pubs, and it's just a short drive to Kirkby Stephen for everything else. Tebay services also convenient for fast charging the EV and a bit of breakfast/shopping. We only had three days, but I'm sure we'll be back again. Thanks for a lovely break ☺️
The room features an Edwardian double four-poster bed, surrounded by rich green wallpaper and plaid curtains. A flat-screen television is positioned on a wooden stand, with an ornate fireplace enhancing the ambiance. A chair is visible next to a window adorned with leaded glass.

Exclusive Luxury Hot Tub Log Cabin, Mallard lodge

Beautiful location- so peaceful. The lodge had everything you could need- hottub was amazing to watch the squirrels. Bats flying around at night and the sheep going for their daily walks were great to see. The beds were comfy, kitchen very well kitted out- even left a cake and bread and eggs- lovely touch. Thank you for a great break with the kids- youngest loved the bunk beds!

Two bed room in beautiful Hostel at Hawes

I never stayed in a hostel before. But I could not asked for better place for a stay over during a motorbike trip with friends. We have been given permission to keep motorbikes out of sight, 4 bunk beds were just what we needed. Self catering kitchen has more than you need and breakfast in the money was worth it's money. Bathrooms and Showers were surprisingly clean and well maintained. Beware water is very hot. Should I come back this way I will for sure consider to book again.
A charming, stone-built pub nestled in a green landscape features multiple sections with a mix of windows and a welcoming entrance. The surrounding trees and gentle hills create an inviting backdrop, reflecting the traditional character of the property within the North York Moors National Park.

Had a fab last minute booked stay over the Easter break. Myself and my husband planned a good walk when we arrived around the estate. By the time we finished our walk, we could check in. Booked a table for evening meal, food and service was excellent. Breakfast was gorgeous also. Staff so friendly, little treasure of a B&B. Already told lots of people and will be visiting the Owl again for sure. Thank you 🤩

Absolutely fantastic air b&b like home from home very clean and cosy very good and easy instructions very central and host very helpful. Highly recommend food and the curious fox which isn’t far at all. Highly recommend this property to anyone. Favourite part I got to have a decent brew in the morning in a proper cup not a little tea cup like most places I’ve been before.
