Beach house vacation rentals in Reggio Calabria

The stay at Francesco's place was a very positive experience. We felt at home, as the apartment is equipped with every comfort and absolutely nothing is missing. The apartment is quite large, suitable for both couples and families and allows you to have your own privacy as there are three bedrooms and two bathrooms each equipped with washing machine and hairdryer. The terrace overlooking the sea offers a beautiful view in a quiet area. Waking up and falling asleep to the sound of the sea waves is really relaxing! The kitchen is well equipped and also perfect for long stays. In the fridge there was plenty of water and fruit juices that were enough for the entire stay. In addition, Francesco and his partner welcomed us impeccably by bringing us fresh eggs, fruits and vegetables from the garden. In the house there is also a beach umbrella, playing cards, and everything you need to cook: oil, condiments, rusks, jams and milk.

The apartment is lovely and nicely furnished with terrific balconies and lots of light and even a breeze at times. There is everything you need to cook and clean and Enza is a lovely host. Extra bonus is being able to look down on the lovely garden that surrounds the apartment building.

Domus Austria is a cozy little house on the seafront in a quiet area of ​​Messina and has the most beautiful sunset in the world! Communication with the host is perfect and check in was very smooth with the help of Maria Rita, the friendliness in person. I would have liked to have stayed longer to enjoy the beach better and sleep listening to the noise of the sea more nights.

The house is spacious and sparkling clean. The furniture is new. We can fully recommend the house and the kindness and helpfulness of Gaetano Pio. What we didn't like was the location. It takes a car (the center of Reggio is 15 mins away, Scilla 10 mins ). There is no beautiful area for walking. The public beach is dull, as is most of the streets of this place. However, there are a few beach baths that you have to pay. It looked clean there.

A beautiful apartment within walking distance to the beach. Apartment is pristine and modern with a lovely variety of breakfast pastries, toasts, jams etc. Host is very friendly and helpful and also flexible with check in. One can catch a train to Reggio Di Calabria for €1.40 to see various attractions and lovely restaurants. The Eurospin supermarket is about a 15 min walk from the apartment for those who prefer to cook their own meals. Would definitely recommend this apartment. Huge flat with 3 balconies, huge living room, separate kitchen and two bathrooms. Fully equipped. Washer, iron, toiletries, and extra towels. Great owners who took great care of us. They gave tips for a great stay. Great location. A minute to the sea, restaurants. 5 minutes to the local shop smelling Italian. 7 minutes to the train station. We recommend walking to Catona, travelling to Sicily by water tram, visit to Melito di Porto Salve. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for real Italy.

We received a particularly warm welcome in the lovely house right on the beach. Friends of Enzo were ready with extensive information and a nice bottle of rosé (thanks Ewa and Salvatore!). The supermarket and a great coffee shop are in walking distance. The house is not particularly luxuriously furnished but you are not often there. On the beach, on the balcony or under the house in the shade it is very nice! The air conditioning in every room works great. The train comes close to the house a few times an hour, but at night it does not run. Then it's nice and quiet. We definitely recommend the house!

the location is not touristy but it's really convenient for travelling to the main locations. the villa was great and had beautiful gardens. the host support were amazing and incredibly helpful.i would return without a doubt!

Graziella and Antonio are very welcoming and responsive and made us feel like family. Graziella greeted us and gave us a thorough tour of the house and the grounds. The Villa is well equipped and spacious with a stunning view of the Strait of Messina and Sicily. The Villa is located minutes from the city of Reggio and easy access to other towns in the region. We had an amazing time and hope to return one day.

Salvatore and his daughter, Melania are very helpful and attentive hosts. The place is perfectly located - 5 min on foot from beautiful and almost empty beach. There are 3 big stores and big commercial center in the neighborhood. The house is specious and nice, however I would suggest renovation - especially the bathroom and second bedroom, where mattresses definitely should be replaced. The rest is good - kitchen has basic equipment (some pots, frying pans, cutlery, cups and glasses). There is a fridge and gas plate to cook. There is no air conditioning, but it’s not a problem at all. The place offers washing machine if you need. You can eat lemons and basil straight from the garden behind the house, which is very nice. There is another super nice thing - there are two very friendly dogs living in the property :) We spent great 10 days in Salvatore’s house - thank you!

A cheerful and charming holiday home, well stocked and in excellent condition. The balcony has a magical view of the sea and coastline. The kitchen, living space and balcony are at the top, the two floors below each have a bedroom and bathroom. It is just a few steps up from the wine bars and waterfront restaurants of Chinalea, and a few steps down from the coffee bars and supermarkets of the town centre- there is also a stairway to the beach. If you want culture the Riace bronzes are 20 minutes away by train and one of the best artworks in all of Italy. Don't panic if you can't find the house straightaway, the house numbers repeat themselves for the main street, vico primo, vico secondo and so on- the locals are super friendly and will help if they see you looking confused.
