Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Quelfes

Really an excellent stay if you want to have a beach getaway with friends. Only one bathroom which can make it a bit difficult if there are a lot of people but otherwise phenomenal. The location is perfect and so close to the ferry to take you into the city. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately, we only stayed two nights in this beautiful apartment, would have liked to stay longer!! But you have to know that the apartment is not directly in Faro, but in Estoi (about 20 minutes by car). The place is very quiet, nice and really Portuguese.

This is one of our favorite Airbnbs ever. Not only has Christian thought of everything to make for a comfortable stay, the original charm of the building is amazing, and the location was perfect for exploring both Olhao and other parts of the Algarve. We loved the atmosphere of this smaller fishing village and felt right at home living in the old town area. Highly recommend!

Fantastic town house right in the heart of this town. Very clean spacious with a fabulous bedroom and hot tub in the roof terrace. Great host!

The house to disengage, in simplicity, refreshing. It is very well equipped with dishes, linens, we have the impression of arriving at friends who have left everything available. The big plus is this beautiful beach 2 steps away . It just went too fast

Olhao is a beautiful town and from Ana's house, everything can be reached in 7, max 15 minutes on foot, making it particularly convenient and interesting. In just 30 minutes by ferry you can get to the islands with white sandy beaches. Ana Isabel made me find wholemeal bread (knowing about my intolerances), coffee, tea and even fresh water in the house. I had such a good time that I will return to Olhao! Thank you very much, Ana Isabel!

That was perfect! Independent check-in. Home close to everything. Very comfortable from all points of view. Impeccable kitchen, bathroom, bedding. Regular and friendly contact. We recommend!

We loved our stay in this apartment - quiet, safe neighbourhood and easy to walk into the centre & train station. Very well-equipped, clean & comfortable and the roof terrace is a fantastic bonus. Joao was very welcoming and helpful at check-in and with recommendations during our stay.

We had the very best time staying at Paula's place in Portugal! Paula was super friendly and communication from the beginning was straightforward and quick. We are particularly grateful that, after a short consultation, we were allowed to stay until the late afternoon on the day of departure, although the check-out would actually have been at 11 o'clock. This really made our last day relaxed as our flight didn't go until the evening. The apartment was very clean and cozy, especially the bed was super comfy! A real highlight was the roof terrace, simply fantastic with the view, perfect for relaxing. We highly recommend the place and would come back anytime. Thank you, Paula!

Nice apartment with balcony and terrace, ideally located to access olhao’s sites as well as trains and buses. Vera was super responsive and helpful. Apartment had all we needed for a short stay in Olhao including good cooking facilities. It was colder when we visited but Vera provided heaters which helped. Olhao has great restaurants and is ideal for a relaxed break

Raquel is one of the most communicative and responsive hosts I’ve ever interacted with on Airbnb. The location of this home is unbelievable. I fell in love with Albufeira from the first few hours i was there, and couldn’t believe how well-situated this place was to all the fun the area has to offer. ACs and most amenities worked well. I’m not sure if it’s a design related to homes in that area, but the open bathroom in the master bedroom, including the shower design, seemed impractical. I needed to rearrange items in that area, and wipe the floor/toilet after every shower. The iron was unusable due to a stain on the ironing surface, and risk of damaging clothes. The washing machine was small and not very effective. We needed to do a lot of loads to clean our clothes, then air dry them, but glad we had a washer! Overall, this is a great place, Raquel’s a great host, and i recommend booking, for anyone visiting Albufeira. Great for 2 ppl, but could accommodate a couple more too. Enjoy!

The apartment was perfectly in line with the listing: clean, well-equipped, very good location, close to the historic center, restaurants and transport. The accommodation is tastefully decorated, very bright and comfortable — it feels like home from the moment you arrive. Special mention for the host, who was very welcoming, responsive and full of good local recommendations (restaurants, beaches, activities, etc.). Thanks to her, our stay was even more enjoyable. We would be happy to come back and recommend this place 100% to anyone who wants to experience Faro in the best possible way!

Beautiful bright, clean and spacious apartment in a super location. Walking distance from all amenities but uber is so quick and reasonable you don’t have to walk if you don’t want to. Olhao is gorgeous and has fabulous restaurants. Miguel was a perfect host - friendly and quick to respond to any queries. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend

Cannot say enough about this place-would recommend every time. Walkable to fantastic restaurants and shopping, view is unbeatable. The pool was an added bonus after a day of sightseeing! Easy to access hiking, ocean activities and shops to stock up on provisions. Maria and Robert were very helpful and responsive hosts. Stop looking and book!!

I can’t recommend Karine’s apartment highly enough. Spotlessly clean, great quiet location within easy walking distance of the beach and lots of restaurants and supermarket. Pool area was secluded and private for myself and young family. Even though there was some building work going on to the apartment complex the builders were quiet and very respectful of us as guests. Already planning our next stay and we haven’t left Portugal!

I have stayed at many Airbnb apartments over the years and I have never experienced the professionalism, adaptability and helpfulness of our host Hélia. In addition, The apartment was absolutely beautiful with all the amenities and the extra touches of bottle of wine, water and tray of snacks are what makes this such a unique experience. The view is breathtaking. The area is lively and filled with fun things to do or you can just sit on the patio and enjoy the oceans beauty. The walk up the hill is a work out but after a couple of days it gets easier. Overall an incredible place to stay and an excellent host!!

We had a amazing time staying at Gavin and Amanda’s property. They were flexible with our arrival time allowing us to check in early, as Gavin met as upon arrival and showed us around the apartment, informing us with all the information we could require as well as recommending some great locations for day trips. The apartment was in perfect condition, exactly as described and matching the photos provided. The kitchen also had more than we could possibly need, with a cupboard containing a variety of spices so that we could easily do our own cooking, as well as other essentials such as, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, all sorts of kitchen utensils, and milk and bottled water left for us in the fridge. The location was perfect, a 10 min walk away from supermarkets, and a 5 min walk to local restaurants and the markets. I would really recommend this apartment to anyone booking a holiday in portugal as it is also very close to faro, only a €15 uber away! Thank you, we loved our stay!

we loved everything. from the residence to the house. it's a little gem. the house is well organized with comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and beautiful balconies especially one where we had lunch and dinner. all in a quiet and peaceful setting. perfect for children. the sea is very close and within walking distance, 4 swimming pools. in short, what more do you want? carlota was helpful and very kind.
