The pleasures of Lake Maggiore and more

AnnaRating, 5 stars9 months ago
The rooms on the top floor of Paola and Gianni's beautiful house are large and light and the roof terrace has the most fantastic views. Given the number of restaurants close by the lack of a kitchen isn't a problem. Paola and Gianni were charming hosts. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
The outdoor area features a wooden table surrounded by white chairs, set on a grassy patch. Large windows reveal the villa's interior, while lush greenery provides shade and enhances the garden’s natural beauty. The space invites relaxation and outdoor dining.

Villa Cristina

JuttaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Sonja welcomed us super nicely. The house was prepared exactly for our needs and on top of that water and a bottle were chilled for us. Since the weather was cold and rainy, it was very pleasant that Sonja had already turned on the heating. The house is spacious and well furnished. With 3 bathrooms, we were well supplied and there was nothing missing in the kitchen. Everything is there. The location of the house allows excursions in all directions to wonderful destinations. There is a very good restaurant and a pizzeria very close by. For shopping, you can quickly drive to the next town. We 6 friends felt super comfortable and definitely recommend Sonja and Villa Cristina.
The exterior of a yellow house is framed by lush green gardens and trees, with a covered patio area featuring chairs for relaxation. A gentle sloping lawn leads to vibrant flowering bushes, creating a serene environment for outdoor activities.

Belvilla by OYO Casa Antonia

GrahamRating, 5 stars10 months ago
A pleasure to stay in this beautiful home. We absolutely loved our week in Casa Antonia. The house and garden were immaculate, and the terrace has spectacular views of the mountains and lake. Location is perfect for exploring the well-marked trails through the woods, and close enough to local village facilities. Vita and team were helpful without ever being intrusive. I honestly can't remember staying in a nicer place for a holiday. It was the perfect base for a family holiday near Lake Maggiore.
A two-story house is presented with a combination of light-colored stone and bricks. A staircase leads to a spacious balcony adorned with outdoor seating, surrounded by greenery. The well-maintained garden features manicured grass and various plants near the entrance.

Casale Cadeloro - Countryside holiday villa

GiorgiaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
The property is many large and perfect for a group of 8 people like us. Each room was perfectly equipped, especially the bathroom because it has the toilet and bidet together: a show! The view from the terrace has always been bucolic, both during the warm day and in the dark. The beds were also very comfortable and well equipped against the winter cold. The only "flaw" was the difficulty with which the lower floor warmed up, but a small thing adding it to the entire experience. Benedetta was very kind in welcoming us and giving us a couple of tips on what to do and the little attention to have. A real cherry on top!

Villa Ramella - Lake View

JosephRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The house was beautiful with an incredible view. The sleeping arrangements were perfect for a large group, plenty of options and the beds were comfortable. The host was a great communicator and answered questions quickly. I’d stay here again but next time I would rent a car if staying here. It’s within walking distance to downtown Baveno but only issue is if you want to go anywhere else taxi / Ubers are extremely difficult and expensive to come by.
A dining room is highlighted by a long, wooden table set for eight, complemented by intricately designed chairs. An ornate ceiling featuring decorative frescoes draws attention. Antique furniture, including a clock and wooden cabinets, provides a classic touch, while natural light enters through the window.

Island Orta S.Giulio villa , garden on the shore.

NicolaRating, 5 stars9 months ago
This is a very very special place and we had an amazing holiday here swimming and paddle boarding on the lake, hiking in the mountains and enjoying many meals al fresco with the very special view of Orta San Giulia from the house. This is an old family home so don’t expect fancy modern furnishing and equipment. But the antiques and decor only add to a special feeling and beds are comfortable, bathrooms fine with plenty of hot water and everything you need for your holiday is provided. We brought our own paddle boards as it was cheaper to pay to bring them than hire locally and we enjoyed being able to jump on them from the end of the garden and find some sun when the sun was off the garden late afternoon. Also there are bitey midges so bring repellant.

Enchanting 18Hundred Villa on Lago Maggiore!

GregorRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We were there with 3 families including 4 children and it was a wonderful stay. The villa still exceeds the expectations you have through the photos. There are countless touches designed with a lot of taste and knowledge. The age and size of the villa mean that individual items are always broken, which did not disturb us. The Park is huge. In the edge areas of the park and at dusk you need a good mosquito spray. There are many small deciduous frogs in the meadow. Karim was a really warm and helpful host. He knows the history of the house in every detail and is a very entertaining and fun conversationalist.
The exterior of the villa features a private swimming pool accompanied by sun loungers, set against a backdrop of a well-maintained lawn and lush greenery. The two-story structure showcases expansive terraces, shaded areas, and elegant landscaping, inviting relaxation and outdoor enjoyment.

Villa Wally 3 Min. vom See

NinaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
3 families. 14 people. 8 days. 7 nights. 1 vacation dream from start to finish. There's nothing that could have been better, dear Anton. We thank you for the trust to visit us with 8 children in your villa, for the fantastic communication, for the wonderful time we had on your property on the beautiful Lago Maggiore, for everything we were allowed to use - from the deck chair, to the shampoo, to the coffee and wine in the refrigerator to the washing machine. The location is fantastic. The cars were stationary for a week. Walking distance to supermarket. With fins on your feet to the lake. From the bed to the hammock. By ship across the water. Go to the restaurant hungry. Leave with a smile. Thank you from the heart.
A bright living area features large French doors opening to a decked terrace. A neutral sofa and armchair are accompanied by a coffee table adorned with books and decorative items. Natural light highlights a green potted plant and white tulips on the table.

The house and garden are an amazing place to stay. The views over the lake and the expansive and gorgeous garden and pool area are good to relax and chill and enjoy the Italian weather. The house is well maintained and I also really liked the kitchen and how well it was equipped. We had a good time cooking and BBQing. There are lots om fun games in the house as well (pingpong, fussbal, etc) Andrea was a fantastic, kind and flexible host who communicated really well during the entire process. I would love to go back to this house!

Villa Rosa

We had an absolutely fantastic weekend with Scott and Anette! The accommodation was stunning – stylish, spotless, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. But what truly made the stay special were our wonderful hosts: Scott and Anette were incredibly kind, always available, and genuinely helpful at any time. The price-performance ratio was perfect, and there's no doubt – we wouldn’t just come back, we will come back! It’s also great to know that we can reach out to them directly for other accommodation options they might offer. A huge thank-you for such a perfect stay – we’re already looking forward to the next time! Thank you Scott and Anette!

Luxury Lake Maggiore villa

DarrenRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a fabulous 5 night stay in this beautiful house. The views from the terrace’s & balconies over Lake Maggiore were sublime. The kitchen was superbly kitted out, allowing us cook meals. The pool & pool house are the knock-out parts to this lovely house. One cool addition was the car turntable at the bottom of the drive. The restaurants in Suna are a 20min downhill walk. Very pretty village on the lake. Pallanza was gorgeous… Highly recommend a stay here! We celebrated two birthdays whilst we were here. A trip filled with lots of special memories.

Villa Lake Maggiore

StephenRating, 5 stars8 months ago
The house is wonderful. The views of the lake are exactly those shown on the website Weather too cool to use the pool, but it was very clean and inviting. You will need a car, but roads are well marked and Stressa is about a 10 minute drive. There were six of us in our party with plenty of room for everyone. All of the bedrooms has their own bathrooms with an extra bathroom on the ground floor. We have rented many properties, but this one is among the best!!! We will be recommending it to anyone who asks where they should stay in the area The owner also has a winery about 30 min away and well worth the drive

1800s' villa with a superb view of Lago Maggiore

KenRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We searched for an Italian experience away from major tourist spots (i.e. Rome, Florence, Venice) and found it with this villa in Bee, Italy. The villa offers a quiet, peaceful, spacious atmosphere in a traditional Italian setting. The home atmosphere is turn of the century residence upgraded with modern amenities. The villa offers a full service kitchen adequate for large dinners. We contracted with two different local chefs who offered a cooking class and dinner for our group at the villa. Both were able to complete the event using the kitchen equipment and utensils. Within a short walk is a small grocery store, post office, Catholic church, and pharmacy. The location is well located to pools, golf courses, and multiple restaurants, as well as daily trips to Stresa, Milan, and Switzerland. Gerry was very responsive to our needs and requests. The villa is a good fit for our group with a mixture of adults and children. We look forward to returning to the area in the future.
