You will have one of a kind, truly authentic experience packed with fun and action! In the heart of the nature, you will be tuning into your senses to discover and connect with nature. You will join me and my trained dog Gemma, and my highly experienced truffle hunter fellow Santo, and his trained dog Vasco to get an introduction to the magical and mysterious world of truffles. You will be exploring the art of finding these gastronomic treasures! - 8.00 am we will meet in Turin and we will take you to our secret places - out of the city in the forest. - we will give you an introduction to truffles, where they grow, qualities and rules about searching them. - we will be walking and searching for truffles, (white or black depending on the season) in the forest with the help of our beloved, talented dogs Gemma and Vasco. You will actively take part in the truffle hunt, learn how to recognise truffles and how to dig them up - we will have a lunch in a typical Italian trattoria. Travelling takes 40 min to and 40 min back Duration of the experience: approximately 2 to 3 hours for searching truffles . September 21th -30th January white truffle During the other months of the year we can find other types of truffles; despite all may and september first to september 21st where it is forbidden to collect truffles.

Horseback ride lasting an hour and a half in the heart of the Basso Monferrato. Immersed in the green of our hills, through woods and meadows. Asphalted roads or roads busy with motorized transport will be avoided as much as possible. No skills are required for the experience, just a great desire to have fun and enjoy the excitement.

I will take my guests on a big Local Food Tasting and Story Tour that highlights Turin’s most hidden gems. Instead of following the classic tourist trails, I will take my guests to a local Food market where they will taste a world famous Piedmontese specialty and I will tell them the special story of Turin’s food markets. We will proceed and discover a very “Royal” food at one of the four best bakeries of Turin after which we will have full breakfast and an extensive coffee tasting at the (officially) Best Coffee Bar of the whole of Piedmont. All along the way, I will help my guests to discover the hidden gems of Turin and I will take them to two very special little shops ran by two of the most passionate and creative artisans of Turin. My guests can tell me before the tour what they are most interested in a part from food, and I will adapt my tour to bring them to the special gems that will be most to their taste. After our two shop visits, we will treat ourselves to a nice glass of wine with some cheese and salami and discover a new part of Italy… To end our tour in beauty we will do a last tasting of something sweet. Either we taste some of the most special chocolate of Turin while I tell my guests all about Turin’s fascinating chocolate history. Either we go for an extensive ice cream tasting at an award winning gelato shop. Temperature will decide…

***IMPORTANT*** We recommend this experience for a minimum of 2 people. Send us a message to request an alternative date! - Together we'll discover the Canavese area, where you'll have the opportunity to taste the main local wines, have lunch in a homely context and discover characteristic landscapes barely known outside Piedmont. We will leave by car from the center of Turin at 10.30 AM, reaching in about 40 minutes our first stop: an organic winemaker in the countryside around Caluso, known for the production of Erbaluce grapes, giving birth to a wide range of DOCG products. After a walk among the vineyards and the first tasting in the cellar, we will have lunch with local products prepared especially for us, and so we'll be ready for our next stop, 40 minutes away. The day will continue in Carema, a one-of-a-kind destination because of its peculiar terraced vineyards and stone columns. Once we have reached the village, we will walk among ancient streets and vines, and we'll finally reach the producers' cellar, where you will taste the two main types of Carema DOC. The return trip to Turin will last about 50 minutes and we should be back there by 5.30 PM.
