Dante was very welcoming. The house is very spacious, cozy, and equipped with everything you need. Great view from the house.

Paolo’s apartment is modern and comfortable. It’s obvious that much care went into its renovation. Check-in and out was easy with a lockbox and Paolo was very responsive. The location makes it an easy walk to all of the sights and the train station I would recommend it to anyone visiting Lucca.

Lorenza's cottage is delightful, as is the whole village that literally enchanted us. Lorenza's mother was really kind, she booked us dinner in the tiny and beautiful restaurant in Tereglio and left us wood for the fireplace in the living room (which we used in the evening, in those days it was a little cold). We look forward to coming back.

We stayed a week in the beautiful cottage of Nadia and Giacomo. We enjoyed everything very much. The location and view from the terrace is unique... The house is very clean and conveniently equipped. Giacomo gave us good excursion tips, both are very friendly. We really enjoyed the relaxing time and would be happy to come back.

We very much enjoyed our stay at The Robin’s Nest. At first I was a little disappointed as the house wasn’t inside the walls of Lucca like I thought. However, Lucca is very bike-able and Laura had two bikes with locks that became our mode of transportation. There was a washer in the home also which we made use of being that we were half way through our trip! Overall, we would recommend this home and Location!

We were only here for a stopover. The accommodation is very idyllic, we felt immediately comfortable.

I came with my family. We were surprised when we arrived: the place was the same and also better than we expected. Check-in was very simple thanks to Chiara's assistance. Always attentive to any need and proactive to make our stay the best, she even gave us some recommendations. Words can’t explain how perfect this place was! We’ve stayed in luxury hotels that weren’t this amazing! Not to mention, Lucia is so kind and patient. I like when the owner meets us as it shows they take pride in their Airbnb. I can say the pictures on Airbnb don’t do it justice. The neighborhood and city is magical.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Casa Doramartina. It was very special to stay in this historic building in such a beautifully appointed, elegant and comfortable apartment. A lot of thought and care has gone into fitting out the apartment - from the helpful meeting as we arrived to explain how keys etc worked to the gifts of fresh water and Tuscan treats, so we felt very welcome indeed. The location in the centro storico of Lucca couldn't be handier - the perfect place from which to explore this beautiful, historic city. Also very handy for Pinelli pasticceria, round the corner, with its delectable pastries!

We very much enjoyed our stay in Monika’s apartment. It is situated in a quiet, residential street, around ten minute’s walk from the old town - a perfect location to explore Lucca and the surrounding area. The apartment is a home from home and is extremely well equipped. The bedroom has air conditioning and there’s a fan in the living room which kept us comfortable. Monika communicated well, and was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We would highly recommend.

We only stayed 2 nights at Laura’s apartment in Lucca. It looked just like the photos. Communication was good, as were the nearby restaurants. We had a wonderful time and would recommend

Wow! What a find! Serena checked us in to this perfect little oasis in Lucca. So MANY extra little touches like great snacks and drinks available, bikes to ride, and sweetly tied linens in a ribbon. Serena was very communicative and gave clear directions about where to leave our car and what to look for in restaurants. Such a perfect spot and very reasonably priced. Ciao!

It’s just not possible to accurately state in an Airbnb review how otherworldly this place is— this home and its location and community (Mony and The Top Bar!!!) were unlike anything we’ve ever experienced. We will D R E A M of coming back someday! We’ve been traveling Europe with our three children for the past three months and this was my favorite Airbnb out of all we’ve ever been to. If you’re looking for an authentic Italian village getaway — this is it. Please don’t miss your opportunity!

Elena’s apartment was even better than the photos! Even the teenagers were impressed! The location could not be better. We could walk to everything. We had such a great stay in Lucca and would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful experience! The house was tastefully furnished and clean, well-stocked with guides and tourist maps of Lucca. It was also equipped with everything you need for your stay: dishes, pans, kitchen utensils, etc. The location was perfect, within walking distance of the Basilica of San Frediano and Via Fillungo, Lucca's main shopping street. But what excited us was the hospitality of the host. Pier Giordano was very kind and helpful; passionate about his city, he recommended places of interest that are also little known by most and typical places to eat Lucchese and Tuscan cuisine. Thanks again! We hope to return to Lucca soon!

We have stayed at this apartment before and loved it that’s why we returned. It’s central, has everything we needed. It’s a great base for the bus and train station. There is also a supermarket not far from the flat to buy essentials for a lovely picnic on the wall of Lucca. Mauro was kind enough to be flexible with our check in and check out time. Another lovely holiday here. We look forward to visiting again.

Great location in a charming city. The apartment was on a quiet street but were minutes from all the local sites, restaurants and shopping. The place had everything we needed. There was plenty of room for our 5 guests. Check-in was easy and communication with the host was responsive.

Margherita is an excellent host. Prior to our visit she was able to send me a list of recommendations for a large variety of restaurants and activities and she answered all my questions. She met us at the door and welcomed us into her home. The apartment itself was fully equipped with everything we needed and very comfortable for our family. Lucca itself was stunning.
