Dollar Apartments - Stylish one bedroom apartment

AudreyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Our hosts were so helpful and considerate and the flat is superbly located for parking, local public transport, the shops and a perfect cafe literally a stones throw away for coffee, cake and even beautiful toast&jam for breakfast plus there is very good read - cafe in a Bookshop - wonderful idea! The flat has everything your need, is thoughtfully furnished and was exceptionally clean upon our arrival which makes any stay all the better! Good communication from very caring hosts so whilst we are local (needing a home away from home whilst repairs were carried out at our house) Alistair and Irene were still available for any help we may have needed - thank you both. Dollar is simply a beautiful location and good accommodation is hard to find......this spot is to be well recommended......we hope future guests enjoy their stays as much as we did.

Tiny House in Cosy Village

Thank you for such a lovely stay at the cottage, we didn’t want to leave and there was plenty of things to do in the surrounding area. The cottage was decorated to a high standard, with a fully equipped kitchen , loved sitting on the window seat. A lovely little shop around the corner and pub within walking distance with good food. We hope to come back again next year. Carolyn & Mark x

The Bothy at Sheardrum - a cosy rural farm cottage

SianRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
We loved having a wood to free run the dogs in, you need to walk the dogs there on leads but it isnt far and after the first day my dalmatian walked off lead to the wood. The owners did have dogs themselves which came out to greet us on occasion but if that was a problem then the owners are very friendly and adapatable and im sure would keep them in if needed. The little back garden was enclosed and had paving slabes and pebbles. Lots of room inside the place with a large kitchen and bathroom and hallway. I felt like nothing was too much trouble. I asked if there was a BBQ and there wasnt but they sorted one out for us and then i asked about a dog crate (as we were off to a dog show and couldnt fit ours in the car as it was fully loaded) and they even sorted a crate out for me to use. Very friendly and chatty owners and the place was picturesque and peaceful. You can also park your car right outside the property.

Countryside Rural Retreat - Pre-Heated Hot Tub

JessicaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The accommodation is two very small custom built sheds on opposite sides of gravel area containing hot tub. It is in the back garden of family home and has a road infront of the hot tub, and many other houses around. So there isn’t really any privacy. Host is super helpful and generous with little extra juice cans for you. Accommodation is very clean and prepared for anything. Lovely stay, but if you’re looking for a private weekend away this place won’t be for you.

My party comprised me and my two adult (early-20's) children. We found the accommodation and the location excellent. Well-equipped, spacious, quiet and beautifully decorated. No complaints at all. Happy to recommend.
