Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Porto

Cristina and her husband Joaquin met us at the apartment and welcomed us like family. Cristina's personal touches, fresh flowered from her garden, robes, slippers and her warm and welcoming energy were just lovely. Joaquin gave us an incredible rundown on the map of the area. Cristina checked in with us regularly and made us feel like we had family nearby. The apartment is quite spacious. highly recommend.

Clara was an excellent hostess who greeted us with fig cake and port wine. She offered bottles of wine (nominal charge because good wine is inexpensive in Porto, Portugal) available for purchase. She offered a tour of the accommodations, providing instructions where necessary, but kept it to a minimum. We booked an airbnb experience Douro Valley tour through Clara .... it was wonderful and highly recommended. Keep-in-mind, of the three airbnb's we stayed-in through-out Portugal only one had dryer. Washing machine at Clara's was downstairs, outside but in a shed area, and she had a line drying feature. The ensuite is a bit tight, but nothing that can not be lived with with for a brief stay and all the decor is charming.

This was a very interesting, historic home. We enjoyed the wild staircase and high ceilings. Would not be a good place for someone with mobility issues, but that is clear in the description. The fans worked ok to keep the heat at bay, but be sure to keep all shutters closed during the day to keep the heat out. Windows in fourth floor bedroom did not open, or will open, but there is nothing to keep them propped up. When it was 92 degrees, this room was quite stuffy. Two bedrooms on the next floor down were fine though. João was very responsive, helpful and the location was very walkable to much of the city.

I would highly recommend this unit. It is a 5 min walk to the beach, less tourist, quiet and only 15-20 min away from the city center. For me it was the ideal location. The host are very friendly and they focus on a positive experience for their guest.

I stayed two days in the house in the garden during my Camino from Lisbon to Santiago and that was wonderfully relaxing, a comfortable house with its own garden in a nice neighborhood. The house is spacious enough for two people and is fully furnished with a living/dining room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom with double bed. Air conditioning is present. The garden is large enough for shade and sun. The center of Porto is about 20 minutes' walk from the center and is in a cozy, not very touristy neighborhood, with restaurants, cafes and shops. Public transportation is also available with metro and buses. The hosts were very helpful and usually responded immediately with good tips. Value was okay. In short, if you are looking for a nice Airbnb near the city center, I highly recommend Carlos & Clarinda's house.

Jorge was a wonderful host - he knows the city inside out and had great recommendations for us. The apartment itself was clean and beautifully decorated, with the most peaceful garden outside. Thank you so much!

My stay at Francisco's apartment in Porto was absolutely wonderful! The location was perfect, with easy access to all the city's main attractions. Francisco's place was cozy, clean, and full of charm. A perfect place for an artist it’s so well done. The hosts were super friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. I loved exploring Porto's streets and discovering its hidden gems, and coming back to the apartment's warm atmosphere was the perfect ending to each day. Highly recommend! Will definitely come back and stay here very soon.

This beautifully designed and perfectly presented apartment is a real gem! It's compact, but the space has been used to create a welcoming and practical oasis of comfort and calm. The host is very attentive and responds immediately in the most helpful way. The location is fabulous as long as you don't eat too many churros. They will feel heavy on your way up the steps! The Gaia foreshore is lovely, and less hectic than the Porto side. The long promenade is perfect for walking, but scooters and e-bikes are near at hand. Transport options are great. Download the Bolt App for the cheapest taxis (12 Euros from the Airport!!) but also the scooters and e-bikes on the same App! Our recommendation: book it and enjoy.

The apartment was brilliant. Such a great space and immaculate. The area is the best and so many nice places to eat and drink within 5 minutes walk. I highly recommend this apartment. And the Wed balcony is a nice extra and gets the sun for a few hours mid afternoon.

Awesome hosts - super accommodating

Pedro’s place is absolutely stunning – the interior is beautiful, the location was ideal, and the roof terrace really made our trip feel special 🤍 The only downside was the check-in experience. Even though we were told check-in was from 3pm, and I let Pedro know multiple times that we’d be arriving around 6, we didn’t get there until 7 after a long and tiring travel day – only to be greeted on opening the door by one of the owners and a workman who were still in the apartment finishing up some work. They told us they’d been there since 5pm and weren’t sure when we were arriving so decided to go ahead anyway, which felt frustrating.. and awkward after the journey. They stayed for another hour after our arrival, which wasn’t ideal when all we wanted to do was relax. That aside, once we properly settled in, we loved our stay – really felt like home:) the space and location really are amazing & the free storage for our bags after checkout was so so helpful & a lovely touch <3 thanks

A stylish loft apartment with a spacious patio area with views across the city. The place was as the photos - a calm oasis to hang out in. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms clean. We enjoyed our time there. Worth noting that the access to the patio is through the second bedroom.

Perfect home base for a trip to Porto. Walkable distance to everything, and easy enough to catch a ride back instead of trekking up the hill. Balcony is amazing to enjoy a glass of wine at night and to take in all the liveliness of the neighborhood. The doors leading to the balcony are very soundproof, we did not hear anything from the surrounding bars. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to visit the area.

Absolutely one of the best Air BnB’s I’ve rented. Ricardo was a super responsive host. He met us at check-in, provided recommendations for the area and was very responsive. The apartment was clean, central to all the major sites AND on a very quiet street.

The apartment was really nice and spacious with a big balcony where we enjoyed the sun. The kitchen was also well equipped with the essentials. Also a big plus was a private parking spot in the garage. Paula and her team were very responsive and helpful. We had a great stay!

We spent 4 very pleasant days in the apartment, which is very well located in the center of Matosinhos and has all kinds of businesses nearby (also the beach!). It's great for a couple or a single person. And Fernando, the host, will give you all the information you need to enjoy your stay, and will be available to resolve any issues that will make your trip even more satisfying. In short, a great experience!

I booked this accommodation because the view of the Douro River was so beautiful, and I was very satisfied! I kept walking because it was downtown just by crossing the bridge, but it was okay. The house was spacious for the price, and it was nice to have all the cooking utensils:)

Fantastic spot with views of the water. Very airy, beautiful flat in Mira Gaia and walking distance to the Dom Luis bridge, Clerigos area and Sao Bento train station. (Just be ready for the hills! There is a set of escalators down the river, though not all seem to work all at one time for whatever reason.) Just a few minutes from multiple bus stops and a local market. Quiet area since it is on a dead end street and comfortable beds with all the needed amenities. Highly recommended!

Daniel is extremely friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble and very quick responses. We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend any of Daniel's private tours which are much more personal. if we return to Porto we would definitely stay here again.

This Airbnb is in a good location for accessing all that Porto has to offer, on foot. It was nice to have two floors and not be in an apartment as most other airbnbs seem to be. It was very clean and well considered with touches such as an iron, hairdryer, kettle etc. The Airbnb was quiet from external noises such as the street etc and very peaceful in this respect. I do however have to say that the above apartment can be heard quite loudly moving about which did disrupt our sleep as it was usually later at night but they were just moving about, couldn’t hear music or tv late and noise from footsteps would stop around 1130/midnight. Overall I would stay again as it was a lovely airbnb. Nice for relaxing, always warm showers, two toilets, tv and sofa if needed. All good. Thank you.
