Vacation rentals in Arcozelo

It was right under the Moru Garden, so it was nice to enjoy it from the terrace of the accommodation without having to go to the Moru Garden separately! The location itself was worth it, even though I had to keep crossing the East Louis Bridge to go to the tours or tourist attractions! It was less crowded than the Sanbento Station side, so it was quiet and the night view was so nice! However, you have to look at the river diagonally, not directly!(Look closely at the first photo you uploaded) We stayed for 3 nights, but there were only 2 large towels and 2 small towels, so we asked if we could get a little more towels, but they said that we could get them if we paid 39 euros, so it was a little disappointing that we didn't have enough towels... Other than that, my husband and I loved the accommodation, and it was clean and smelled good! It was nice to have two bathrooms! When I think of my trip to Porto, I think the view from the accommodation will be remembered for a long time!

What a gem ❤️. The apartment is way more spacious than it looks in the photos: beautifully designed and perfect for two. It’s on the ground floor, which is super convenient, but thanks to the slope, it actually feels like you’re up high. A peaceful view and total privacy. The free private garage was a huge plus (we had a big car), and you can access it directly from inside the building. The area feels truly Portuguese, quiet, local, and just a few minutes from Gaia Shopping and El Corte Inglés. Getting to Porto was easy because Ubers are incredibly cheap. Max was one of the most attentive and thoughtful hosts we’ve ever met. We felt welcomed from the very first message. We’d absolutely come back!

If you cross the Dou River, there is a place right away, so it's a great place to explore. You can see the sunset and night view of Porto in 1 minute on foot. The winery is also close and there are many places to walk to. Recommended ^ ^

We had a wonderful stay at this property for a long weekend away with friends. The house was even better than it appeared in the photos - incredibly spacious, good sized pool out the back, plenty of sun-loungers. There were great spaces for everyone to be together - but plenty of room for people to relax away from the group. The journey into Porto was very easy and affordable by Uber and no issues delivering food in. Check in was flexible and easy, with the host welcoming us and explaining how everything worked. We also didn’t realise until just before that breakfast was included - and everyday we woke to a huge selection of breads, fruit, cheese, meats, pastries and cereal! Really could not fault either the host or the home we stayed in. 10/10 in every aspect and I would definitely stay here again in the future.

We received a very warm welcome from Bartolo. Interesting, old apartment, part of a much larger farmhouse building. Antique furnishings and high ceilings give this Airbnb a very quaint feel, like going back in time. Plenty of blankets and hot water bottles for the unseasonable chilly nights on our arrival. We loved the ambience, the creative renovations which were being carried out whilst we were there, didn’t hinder our stay in any way. Beautiful views, animals in the grounds, wonderful kind people, made our trip very special. We took the train into glorious old Porto from Mindelo, leaving our hire car nearby. Do walk along the boardwalk in the nature reserve on the coast nearby. Characterful old villages and towns nearby for coffees and meals out. The Romantico drive along the Douro is a must, choose a dry day for the glorious views. We toured the old city and loved both sides of the river. Lots of musicians play there, it was a pleasure to lunch, listen and relax.

Apartment faithful to photos. The metro is just 100 meters away and you can access the city center of Porto very quickly (only 5 stations) Very responsive host.

good view, but little stairs to arrive place

The house was beautiful inside, very modern and clean with everything you need. The beds were comfy, bathrooms were great with plenty of towels provided. The hosts were really responsive and friendly, and were really helpful with local recommendations and airport transfers. The location is great, in a quiet area not too far from Porto city centre. Very close to several port lodges (if you have an interest in that). The house is up a few steep hills, but it's very easy to get taxis to/from. There's also a few lifts and escalators on nearby roads which break up the walk from the harbour. With it being on a hill, the view of Porto and the river from the balconies is beautiful. Great outside space too. Would definitely recommend and would 100% stay again.
