Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Porters Neck

We come to wrightsville beach several times per year and we will be back to this home. It had a great layout got a large family. We came with our 2 sons and our 4 grand children and never felt cramped. It's a home we will frequent while in wrightsville.

Luis’ place was exactly as described and housed our family for the week perfectly. We were grateful for the washer and dryer after many beach days, as well as a relaxing place to wind down after sightseeing all day. The provided showering essentials were good quality and nice to not have to bring along. The location provided us with opportunities to see and do so much! From surf city, to the battleship in Wilmington, the wild horses near shackleford banks, fort Macon and a ferry to sand dollar island. This was our favorite family vacation ever. If you stay here two guys grille was INCREDIBLE and staxx ice cream was a favorite for the kiddos. Thanks for a great stay will definitely be back and recommend to friends and family.

Being on the beach was awesome! We enjoyed sunrises from the hot tub, going right down our stairs to the sand, walks to the pier, evenings on the deck… It was the perfect setting for our little reunion! The house is clean and comfortable with everything you might need. Location is also super convenient to food & coffee & seafood market. The only surprises were that our space was attached to another house (neighbors were very quiet, respectful, and friendly) and that we had to make our own beds upon arrival and remove bedding before check out. Overall, Emily’s house made our time with people we love even more fun & easy! She was a communicative, helpful host and we appreciate her sharing her home!

We had the best time!! We were able to bring our boat and park it at the boat dock. I will say if you have a bigger boat I don’t know if you will be able to park there all weekend, but not a far drive at all to a boat ramp. The place was very clean and had all the things you will need! There is even dog toys and a bed! Betsy was super helpful and nice. We will definitely come and stay many more times.

The house was great! We were in town for a quick beach trip and Riley Green Concert at Live Oak! The house worked well for our needs, it was the perfect location to be, it was a quick uber downtown and then a quick ride to the beach, which worked out fantastic! The outdoor space was so nice, unfortunately it rained quite a bit so we did not get to use it, we will definitely rent again in the future!

For us, this was a great stay, beginning to end. Michael was very responsive from the very beginning when I first reached out to him about his property. I grew up in Wilmington, but sadly our reason for being in town was for my dad’s funeral. The house is such a cute floor plan, very modern style. It has just enough furniture but without feeling cluttered. We didn’t use the loft area, but it is a really neat space. We had two large breed dogs with us and we had plenty of floor space for their beds and still be able to move around easily. The bed in the full bedroom sleeps really nicely. It’s on a quiet street, with more than plenty of space for multiple vehicles. Our dogs loved sniffing around in the fenced in part of the yard. It’s conveniently located to several major thoroughfares in mid-town Wilmington so getting around is easy. We also loved the PacMan game. Would absolutely stay again!

The house is in a great location, convenient to the downtown attractions without the city noise. Thank you for the extra touches, snacks and bottle of wine. Fantastic for the dog to have the fenced back yard and we found the bed very comfortable. Thanks for a great stay!

So glad that we got to unplug from everything and really enjoy a weekend in Wilmington! Everything you need was on hand and absolutely perfect. Plenty of coffee to get us motivated, everything was spotless, and we really loved sitting out on the private porch. Highly recommend!!

Excellent hidden gem within walking distance tp the ocran and all of Kure Beach's shops and eateries. Very cute decorsuper comfy beds!

Harry was responsive and helpful. The place is walkable to downtown. We had a great stay.

This was perfect for our Family of three. We decided to come down early before our family got down and needed a place for 2 adults and one kid. This had everything you could ask for. Nice little apartment tucked away only 3 houses up from the beach! Short walk down the beach to the pier was huge plus as well. Mary was an excellent host, quick to reply and give any assistance if it was needed. We will definitely be looking to Jimmy’s place if and when we need space for just our family again. Outstanding location. Easy access to Topsail and Wilmington. Beautiful layout and will return. Everything you needed or possibly wanted was there. Extremely friendly.

We had a great stay at this apartment while visiting our daughter at UNCW with our young son. The space was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was perfect—close to campus, restaurants, and everything we needed. The host was communicative and made check-in seamless. We would definitely stay here again on future visits!

We had such an amazing time at River Retreat! Felt very safe and comfortable right at home truly. It unfortunately was raining so bad one of the days but that didn’t stop us we still had a great time, make sure you enjoy that sunset on the balcony or catch the sunrise, it’s worth it! :)

Ginger and her husband greeted my kids and I when we arrived and even offered to help me carry my items up. Ginger also offered to go to the store for me when I told her I had to go and get items for my baby and that really touched my heart that she was willing to go out of her way to help me. The place looked exactly like the pictures and was super cute. I really enjoyed my stay and my kids did also. Ginger was very responsive if I had any questions about anything. Her and her husband were so friendly anytime we seen them and I really liked that. I will definitely be staying again the next time I have to make a trip down in that area! :)

Kelly’s place is in a beautiful location. We enjoyed our stay & felt comfortable there. Really enjoyed the screen porch dining area looking at the lake. Would recommend. If you are going on the Ancient Cypress Tours it’s a great location to stay, only about 25 minutes away.

Vincent and his wife are so sweet and greeted us right when we arrived with a smile and showed us around. The cabin is very quiet and cozy. They also gave us fresh eggs for our dogs which was very kind. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Also LGBTQ+ friendly and they made us feel right at home.

Words truly can't describe how perfect everything was! This place for starts is like an oasis in paradise. So relaxing and able to disengage with the stress of life. I was able to reflect on life and feel like this place centered me. The place was fully equipped with everything you need for a vacation and so incredibly clean! The building is so sound and so detailed oriented. I would love to live out of this full time. As far as hospitality this place is second to none! They are so welcoming. If you are looking for a great place for food they have something for everyone! I know that anyone would blown away with what ever you get off the menu. I was also able to purchase some great seasoning too! This place is also the best bang for your buck if you are worried about what you get for what you spend. I can't thank them enough for everything and I will be going back for sure!

Had a recent stay at Heidi's place to spend part of Father's Day with my son who is stationed at Camp Lejunne. I cannot recommend her accommodations highly enough. Her place is clean, comfortable and peaceful!!! She is a very accommodating host, that has such a quaint place to stay at. When in the Jacksonville area again, I'll definitely go out of my way to book with her again. It's a pure slice of Heaven!!!

Cozy Cabin was perfect for our family. Very clean and nice place. We used the Get Away house as well that was available during our stay. It was the perfect set up. And the fenced in back yard was very nice. We will return in the future for a future stay.

The accommodations were quaint and the property was peaceful and lovely. Our stay was comfortable and perfect for our needs. Hosts were nice and very responsive in their communication. Sparrows Nest is convenient to grocery stores, fuel stations, and a great Mexican restaurant and pizza place! I only wish we had more time to explore the mill pond and make use of the amenities including the kayaks; we stayed here where it was convenient to boating access to join a special group for a PWC trip on the Cape Fear River. It was overall a very nice weekend celebrating our 21st wedding anniversary! Memories made! We will recommend this place to others and will book again in the future.

Great location - walking distance to shops, restaurants, beach, but very peaceful. Great place - fenced in yard for the dog, well equipped kitchen, lots of space for people to hang out, comfortable beds. This is our second time staying and we hope to be be back.

Cute cabin surrounded by a beautiful property. Very peaceful. There is a second cabin on the property next to each other; the only thing I would say is the garage door/window does not provide much privacy. If you have neighbors in the other cabin you can see right in. Maybe a tint the window would be helpful. Otherwise, the cabin is adorable and very clean. There is a cute porch to sit on and a fire pit!
