An oasis of tranquility in one of Hamburg's most beautiful districts. Beautiful view of the well-kept garden, spacious living room and bedroom equipped with a really comfortable bed. Anna and Mike always answered our small detailed questions promptly and very kindly - we will be happy to come back!

We felt super comfortable from the first moment. The accommodation is modern, stylishly furnished and equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay. We were particularly impressed by the lovingly designed communal kitchen with snack bar and a refrigerator stocked with soft drinks and selected wines from a regional winemaker. The beach is almost directly opposite and invites you to take relaxing walks and enjoy fantastic sunsets. We really lacked nothing. We will be happy to come back!

We were spontaneously looking for a break in an accessible location. Somewhat surprising we found this house with beautiful views, spacious spaces and good amenities. That convinced us, because we had never heard of it. Overall, we were not disappointed. It was mostly sunny, so we could use the balconies/beach chair. Our daughter found the smaller bedroom super cozy and was willing to get to know the dyke/banks of the Elbe. We'd love to enjoy it again. A thank you to the good care of Yvonne and her delicious crepes:-)).

We had a wonderful stay at Leonie's place! The apartment is incredibly spacious, spotlessly clean, and adequately furnished, making it a perfect home away from home. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet, yet conveniently located—just a couple of minutes' walk to the Herwigredder bus stop, which provides easy access to Blankenese and beyond. All together, it takes about 40 minutes to get to the Hamburg central station. Leonie was a fantastic host—responsive, welcoming, and attentive. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a relaxing stay. Would definitely book again!

We had a great long weekend in the beautiful old house with Antje and Mathias. Great location with Elbe beach near walking distance, dyke, playground, sheep, chickens – perfect for movement children. Arrival by public transport also worked out well, even if a car is helpful on site, because shopping is not within direct walking distance. Many thanks to this place for the last minute bike rental for bun picking and the fresh, delicious breakfast eggs :)

Our stay at this place was really enjoyable. There were six of us, three couples, and everyone was very happy with the accommodation, the amenities, the rooms and the surroundings. The furnishing style did not please everyone immediately, but it was basically varied. The kitchen, the bedrooms and the two bathrooms were particularly noteworthy. The surroundings are unique and delighted us all. In summary, a visit to Kollmar is definitely worthwhile. If you are a large family with up to four children, this house is ideal. But it is also an excellent choice for a couple's vacation. We will be happy to come back, should the opportunity. Yours Sincerely, Felix

I grew up in the Blankeneser Treppenviertel and booked Sebastian's place primarily for the location. I got the best location (almost right on the beach, you can see the ships pass by on the Elbe river and a quick 10min walk to shops and restaurants downtown Blankenese) as well as a beautiful little house all for myself with amazing, serene furniture and decoration wonderfully arranged by Sebastian and Susanne. Staying in their house, allowed me to have a well needed break from a busy work and family life which I would recommend to anyone else. Sebastian & Susanne are awesome hosts and very nice to communicate with. They will reach out to make sure that everything is well. You will feel rested and happy after staying at their place.

The house of Irena is very nice, clean and well maintained. From the first moment we felt comfortable The fenced garden is a dream for our dog and also well maintained. Irena is very friendly and helpful and the communication quick and easy. The surrounding area offers plenty of space for walking with a dog, right on the Luhe. Wonderful. In the spring or summer certainly even more beautiful. I'd love to visit again.

That was great! The garden and wonderful location with "private" beach are simply a dream. It can be walked comfortably to the supermarket and we also liked the beautiful Lauenburg on the other side of the Elbe extremely well. We would also like to emphasize the very friendly tenants in the apartment, who had helped us great with check-in. If we are allowed, we will be happy to come back.

The previous tenants Samuels & Ms. accommodation have already expressed a lot very nicely and aptly. Living in this so beautifully designed apartment with the appreciative antique details, the interior, the great kitchen, its extensive amenities, the beautiful view to the outside during the kitchen work and the stay in the old country was enriching. It was a stay and living that went beyond sobering convenience. The individual history of the house and its former residents were just as noticeable, like the current owners with their appreciation and attention to details and their ambitious working process of converting the house into a vacation rental. The proximity of the Elbe, wonderful evening sky, numerous possibilities through Hamburg , the old country, the wonderful old courtyards - everything has enriched our vacation, thank you to Samuel, wife and previous owner. We had a very nice stay.

Hi, First of all thanks to Johannes and his wife for letting us in their home . The entire place was perfect for us, as a family of 3. Everyone had his own room and the living room was a great place to spent time during the day. The bathroom was a dream, especially the bath tube after a cold and rainy day. You can relax in the tube after a long bike ride. Kitchen has everything you need and the location is perfect to hop on your bike and get going along the Elbe. For sure we will visit again. A place with wonderful energy. Very quiet location, good starting point for activities on foot or by bike. Extremely clean apartment, fantastic view from the living room. Equipped with everything, we didn't miss anything and experienced the time there as a gift. Thank you to the uncomplicated hosts and can only recommend a stay without reservation.

This location is beautiful and relaxing. I will miss it as I continue onward with my travels. One thing I would have done different is to purchase a week long pass for the Ferry ride. My travels include using the Ferry daily but that is not the case for everyone. Also schedule additional time for travel using the Ferry because you may not get on the Ferry boat immediately due to the amount of cars waiting. I would anticipate an additional half hour for travel. I loved hearing the birds in the morning and even heard a Cuckoo bird. Fun. I would consider staying there again.

Tropical Paradise is an oasis, great flat, fantastic hosts and a perfect base to visit Hamburg! Be sure to bring your dub playlist, as we did :)

Very very nice hosts, good and easy communication, the reception was great, we would receive a friendly welcome, everything was shown to us, explained and also given recommendations for activities. the apartment itself corresponds to the description, you have everything you need. All in all we had a very nice stay, always back with Julia.

Simone and Alexander provided us with a warm and homely welcome in their typical German-Danish style cottage. The duplex is brand new, spotless and beautifully decorated. A big plus is the modern design combined with gorgeous renovated wooden beams in the ceiling. All the comfort one needs is provided and then some! The hosts are super friendly and make guests feel like family, also you are able to contact them whenever if you have questions or requests of any kind. The duplex is very comfortable, kitchen and bathroom are fully equipped and the bedding is immaculate (you will sleep like a baby)! The environment of the house is very calm, in the middle of nature and the Kollmar beach is literally 10 steps away. Simone will provide you with maps of things-to-do, walking routes and directions to the nearest shops and amenities. We had a great stay and we wouldn't hesitate to book there again! Cozy place in a perfect ans quiet location. Close to the beach and the city centre. Julia is a friendly host.

Very nice place with everything you need. Sauna and billiard room were great, everything was clean. We felt really comfortable, highly recommended!

This was already our third stay at the Elbe Boardinghouse, it is just beautiful and we felt very comfortable again!
